Betrayed by Fiance, Embraced by Hidden Tycoon-Chapter 232: His Punishment
Chapter 232: His Punishment
In the Beach House villa,
Abigail felt relief after talking to Adam Snow as if a heavy weight had been lifted from her shoulders. For the first time, she felt happy after their conversation. Usually, their discussions ended in arguments or left her in tears, too upset to continue.
"Wife, you look so beautiful when you smile like that..." Sawyer’s voice surprised Abigail as he appeared in the doorway. Her smile widened at the sight of him walking towards her.
"What makes you happy?" Sitting beside her, Sawyer took both of her hands and squeezed them gently.
"I called Adam Snow and actually made him angry. This is the first time I feel happy after talking to him." Her eyes sparkled with joy as she met his gaze.
"I’m so glad to hear that, Abby." Sawyer gently brushed her hair and tucked it behind her ear. After briefly pausing, he added, "I want you to know that my people caught Adam Snow’s henchmen red-handed at the nursing house. Do you realize what Adam Snow did today could be considered a criminal act?"
"Yeah, I know."
"Good! So, what do you want to do about Adam Snow and his henchmen?" Sawyer asked. If it were just him, it would be clear that those involved would end up in prison.
Sawyer didn’t want to send Adam Snow to prison without Abigail’s consent, as the man was her biological father.
Feeling her hands clench tighter and her eyes narrowing with anger, he simply smiled. He understood her frustration, so he gave her a moment to think.
After a short pause, Abigail finally replied, "I have nothing more to do with Adam Snow. You can do whatever you need to. I only want to live in peace and hope that man will no longer bother me."
When Sawyer heard her response, a faint smile spread across his handsome face; it was precisely what he wanted to hear.
"Okay, I’ll have my men take care of this. Don’t worry, Abby. That man will never bother you again." He was determined to send Adam Snow to prison for what he had done to Abigail, her mother, and her grandmother.
"Thank you, Sawyer..." she said gratefully.
"My dear wife, you need a warm shower; you look exhausted. Come on, I’ll help you..." he said excitedly, carrying her toward the bathroom.
Captivated by his sultry gaze, Abigail surrendered to him, feeling her tense ease as she relaxed in his arms.

A few days later.
A lot has happened in the past few days. Martha and Nathaniel returned to the capital yesterday. ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
Sophie and James Philips have officially registered their marriage. Meanwhile, Sawyer and Abigail are enjoying their honeymoon.
And news that Abigail had been eagerly anticipating, it was reported today on local television and news portals in Sunset Bay City that Adam Snow has been arrested for attempted kidnapping, tax evasion, and fraud.
According to circulating reports, Adam Snow may face a lengthy prison sentence. Additionally, the state plans to seize all his assets due to his tax debts.
...
For the past few days, Abigail has struggled to spend quality time alone with her grandmother because her grandfather is always by her side.
However, Grandpa had an urgent matter today, so he left the villa with Sawyer.
That afternoon, as the sun shone brightly and a gentle breeze warmed the air, Abigail asked her Grandma to walk along the beach. She wanted to share some exciting news with her.
"Grandma, how are you feeling today?" Abigail asked, observing her grandmother walking without a cane. She looked much better than when they arrived in this place.
"Never better, Abby! Breathing in the sea air, walking on the sand, and enjoying a day away from the nursing home routine makes me feel excited and happy. I feel like I’m back in my early fifties..." Sophie giggled as she watched her granddaughter smile widely.
"Grandma, I’m so relieved and happy for you," Abigail said, unable to hide her joy.
"Thank you, honey. This is all because of you and Sawyer. I realize that if you hadn’t insisted that I leave the nursing home that day, I might not have made such significant progress," Sophie replied, visibly sighing.
Abigail smiled, aware that her Grandma was still stressed and afraid about Adam Snow’s threat.
"My pretty granny, so your health improvement isn’t because of James Philips!? You finally married him..." Abigail teased, stifling a laugh as she noticed her Grandma’s cheeks blush an even deeper red.
"Honestly, that excites me even more and helps me recover faster." Sophie stopped walking and held Abigail’s hand. "And, of course, I want to see your children..."
Abigail froze at Grandma’s words, her cheeks warming as she recalled last night’s conversation with Sawyer about their future children. They weren’t rushing into parenthood or planning to postpone it.
"Grandma, I hope God grants us that sooner," Abigail replied shyly.
"Oh, Abby, I’m so happy to hear that. I will pray for you and Sawyer every day," Sophie said.
"Thank you, Grandma," Abigail responded as they walked hand in hand.
"I’m so happy with our lives now, Grandma. You finally have someone who will love and protect you forever. So do I..." Abigail had never expected their lives to change drastically this year, and she felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
"You’re right, Abby. This happiness would be complete if your mother were still with us." Sophie’s voice trembled with sadness as she reminisced about her daughter.
"Grandma..." Abigail struggled to continue, her heart aching at the thought of her late mother. If only she had met Grandpa Philips sooner, maybe her mother would still be with them.
"Your mother must be proud and happy to see us, Abby. She certainly won’t be worried anymore," Sophie said, trying to suppress her sadness as she noticed Abigail was about to cry. She smiled weakly and added, "Oh, Abby, I hope Adam Snow won’t bother you anymore..."
In a few days, Sophie would be moving to the capital with James, and Adam Snow would no longer be able to use her to pressure Abigail. But what about Abigail? Sophie knew that man would never stop causing her trouble.
"Grandma, I wanted to share some good news about Adam Snow," Abigail exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with happiness.
"What is it, Abby? Is he causing trouble again?" Sophie asked, her voice laced with worry.
"Sawyer put him in jail for your kidnapping attempt, along with many other offenses that could keep him behind bars for a long time."
"Really!?" Sophie gripped Abigail’s hand tightly, too excited to contain herself.
"Yes, Grandma! The news has been circulating in local media. I feel relieved that Adam Snow finally got his punishment!"
