Betrayed by Fiance, Embraced by Hidden Tycoon-Chapter 202: Wedding Day (6)
Chapter 202: Wedding Day (6)
While Andy sulked with Rowan, three pairs of eyes were watching him.
"I still can’t believe the Boss invited Andy to his wedding ceremony," Ethan said, shaking his head slowly. He shifted his gaze away from Andy, looking at Ronan Peters and Aaron Hart.
"Same here. I was shocked when I saw him arrive. I thought Andy wouldn’t be informed about this party after what he did," Ronan added, returning his gaze to Ethan.
Aaron, sitting with them, was confused when he heard their words. He quickly glanced at Andy Bennet before turning back to Ronan and Ethan.
"What’s wrong with Andy? Did he fight with Sawyer?" Aaron asked curiously. He had been busy at the hospital lately and seldom called Sawyer or the others.
If Sawyer hadn’t called and asked him to do a DNA test, he might not have been invited to this party. During the call, Sawyer also invited him to his house today for the wedding ceremony. He felt grateful and proud that Sawyer had asked him.
Ethan turned to Aaron. "They didn’t fight, but Andy has some special feelings with Lady Boss! He probably loves her."
"What the heck!? The audacity!" Aaron was utterly shocked to hear this news. "Does Sawyer know about it? Why did he still invite him?"
"I know, right? It’s weird. Andy is courting death to have eyes on Miss Abigail! How could he have eyes for his boss’s woman?" Ethan chuckled. "Well, of course, Boss Sawyer knows about it. That’s why we’re all confused now, why he still invited him..."
Ethan still found it hilarious to remember how he discovered Andy’s secret. That day, he accessed Andy’s cell phone and found a chat conversation with his secretary, Amelia Walker. From that, he realized that Andy had fallen in love with Abigail and was willing to spend a lot of money to help her in her legal battle.
"Guys, don’t blame Andy. He didn’t know that Miss Abigail was actually our boss’s woman. If he had known, I believe he wouldn’t have had the courage to pursue her," Ronan calmly said, trying not to judge Andy.
When he saw Ethan and Aaron frown, Ronan continued, "I’m pretty sure our boss, Sawyer, knows about this, which is why he forgave Andy and even invited him to his special day."
Like Andy, Ronan also had odd encounters with Abigail. If he had known her true identity from the beginning, he wouldn’t have had the audacity to charge her rent or even ask her to clean his house.
"Yeah, I know. It feels strange to think that Andy has fallen for our boss’s woman," Ethan chuckled.
"Indeed, it’s amusing..." Aaron added with a chuckle.
"By the way, why haven’t they arrived yet?" Ethan asked, glancing toward the elevator. He was curious and eager to see Abigail in her wedding gown.
"They still have fifteen minutes," Ronan replied, checking his watch.

Walter Jones was stunned to see influential figures like Andy Bennet and Rowan Sterling at his son’s wedding.
He turned to his father, Nathaniel Jones. "Father, did you invite Andy Bennet and Rowan Sterling to this wedding party?!"
"I was just about to ask the same thing," James Philips said, looking at his best friends curiously. "Since when do you know them, Niel?" He was both curious and excited to see Andy Bennet as a guest.
James was excited to have an excellent opportunity to talk to Andy about his plan to arrange a marriage for his granddaughter, Serena. He still preferred Andy Bennet as Serena’s husband over Harvey Jones.
Nathaniel chuckled slightly as he glanced at his son and best friend, amused by their question. Although he had heard of Andy Bennet and Rowan Sterling on the news, he had never seen them in person.
"Why are you both asking me?" Nathaniel inquired, directing his curious gaze at Walter. "How could I invite them?"
Walter Jones was taken aback by Nathaniel’s response. In disbelief, he repeated his question to confirm, "Father, you seriously didn’t invite them?!"
"No, I didn’t know them in person. They both suddenly appeared in the industry in the last ten years, and I’m already inactive in business," Nathaniel explained, narrowing his eyes at his son. "You’re still active in business; you should know them, right?"
Although his son is no longer the CEO of J Group, he is still active as the company’s president. He should know both of them.
Walter shook his head. "I haven’t had the opportunity to meet them in person, too. Maybe Harvey knows them..." Confusion lingered in his eyes as he pondered how these two prominent figures in the country were attending his son’s wedding.
James Philips was also lost in thought, but his thoughts differed completely from Walter’s. His mind was preoccupied with something new. He planned to meet Andy Bennet later, with a sole purpose. To match the CEO with his granddaughter, Serena.
After a moment, James looked at Nathaniel and Walter. He said, "If neither of you invited Andy and Rowan to this party, it means Sawyer did. Only he could decide who could attend his wedding."
Nathaniel slowly nodded, agreeing with his friend. "You’re right, James..."
However, doubt began to creep into Nathaniel’s mind. He had never heard Sawyer mention Andy Bennet or Rowan Sterling. The only person he knew Sawyer was close to was his best friend, a doctor named Aaron Hart.
"How could Sawyer know them?" Walter asked, unsure that his son knew a business figure like Andy Bennet and the best lawyer in the country, Rowan Sterling.
Walter knew his son didn’t run a large business; he was too carefree and uninterested in managing one. How could he possibly have met such an influential figure?
"Maybe they were friends in school or university?" James suggested.
"Yes, Uncle James, I agree," Walter said. "Andy Bennet and Rowan Sterling might have known him from college. And, I doubt Abigail has such connections, so it must not be her who invited them..."
Instantly, James Philips’ expression hardened upon hearing Walter’s words.
