The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband-Chapter 370: A different side
Chapter 370: A different side
A soft knock on the door woke him followed by an unfamiliar voice. "Please can I have a word with you, Prince Cedric. The count sent me." The voice politely asked.
Cedric frowned but still reluctantly let go of Abrielle’s hand to see who it was. The door slowly opened revealing a young lady around the same age as Abrielle. The count’s daughter.
"Greetings, your highness," she curtseyed, flaunting her cleavage that wasn’t covered. Cedric didn’t say a thing, so she nervously swallowed, glancing up to meet his gaze.
"I am here to attend to you. Dinner is being served." She explained but her tone was rather seductive.
Cedric’s eyes went cold, he wasn’t in the mood to entertain such stupidity, but he didn’t want to be rude to the host either, just out of courtesy.
"I am not hungry at the moment. Thanks for your concern." Cedric turned down her advances politely. The first prince was being extremely well-behaved at the moment.
Jessica, the count’s daughter, head bobbed up; she was surprised the prince had turned her down. She was confident in her looks and couldn’t afford to fail the mission her father gave to her which was to get close to the first prince
"Are you sure, your highness? It has been a long day, you must be hungry and exhausted. Let me help you ease up the stress as you dine." She chimed sweetly with a seductive smile. Jessica was rather beautiful, better looking than most but her looks meant nothing to Cedric.
He laughed, his laugh dark and scary. The air got tense, and a heavy load was pressed on her shoulders. "Are you sure I am getting served food or something overused?" He asked her.
Her fingers curled, she was offended but she didn’t give up. She put on a genuine confused look. "What do you mean? If our meals are not to your liking we can always get the chefs to make something better." She continued acting oblivious.
Cedric smiled, his hand reaching out for her face. She didn’t flinch but smiled brightly, happy he was playing to her music. Only if she saw the dark dead look in her eyes.
He held her face, his touch warm and gentle. "What is your name?" He asked.
"It is Jessica," she answered leaning closer to his touch. "Jessica," Cedric replied. Never in her life had she heard someone say her name so perfectly.
His finger traced her cheeks; every touch made her toes curl. She was glad he was falling deeper into her trap.
His fingers traced down to her neck, the subtle touch made her feel in a way she could not describe. It felt like he had a magical touch.
"I have a simple question." He mentioned that her eyes sparkled, glad he was more curious about her. She had a smug smile remembering the rumours about Cedric, claiming no woman could bend him to their will.
All men were the same, she thought. "Yes, ask away." She said in a low seductive tone. He smiled, and she saw his lips curl up
"Tell me, how many times has your father used you to get to men?" Her eyes went wide in surprise because she wasn’t expecting that question from him in the slightest bit.
"What do you mean?" She asked, her voice shaking slightly. Cedric’s fingers, which were tracing the edges of her neck, suddenly curled around her neck, and his grip tightened.
"Don’t fool with me? What do you think of me? That I will fall for such a cheap trick." His grip tightened. She was finding it hard to breathe. Her hands reached out for his grip. She struggled to break his grip,
"Please let ...go.." She could barely say, struggling to break his hold.
Cedric did the opposite and his grip tightened around her neck
"I can easily snap your neck if I want you." He casually mentioned, he was truly tempted to do just that. His wife was very ill and this moron had the guts to try and seduce him.
She struggled knowing he was very much capable of doing that. Just a little more pressure and she would be dead. That’s easy.
Her legs kicked, and she fought, but he didn’t budge the slightest.
Cedric’s eyes darkened, his gold eyes turning black. The temptation to kill her got stronger. His blood lust wanted blood; he just enjoyed spilling blood; it was a way he used to destress.
Her face was going red the more she fought. "Please, I am begging you.." she begged, but it all fell on deaf ears. Jessica was shaken to the core. Never in her life had she sensed just a strong murderous aura.
He was truly going to kill her.
The room door creaked open behind him, then a soft voice followed.
"Cedric," the voice weakly called. The murderous aura disappeared instantly as if it had never been there in the first place.
He let go of Jessica’s neck and she fell on the floor. Her lungs were desperately trying to take in air
"What are you doing out of bed?" He asked his wife, who looked pretty clueless. He ignored Jessica and approached Abrielle. "I am thirsty and my head hurts," Abrielle whined. She didn’t even notice the girl on the floor, who was completely pale, like she had just seen a ghost.
Cedric has suddenly changed like he flipped a switch. She was stunned at how gentle he was with his wife.
"I will pour you a glass of water, let’s head back inside, you are still burning up." Abrielle nodded and went back inside. Her every action was very delicate.
She went back inside first but Cedric didn’t follow behind immediately. His shoulders were against the count’s daughter. His voice was firm and filled with authority.
"I had no idea Count Pius was tired of his position. " Cedric casually said, but the meaning of that simple sentence alone shook her to the core.
The room door was closed, leaving Jessica alone in the hallway. Her fist clenched her eyes glaring at the door. No man had rejected her before a single touch was enough to make them
crumble.
