The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband-Chapter 354: Too tempting
Chapter 354: Too tempting
The weather was better. Finally, the sun was out after raining nonstop the previous day. Abrielle stood in front of the full-length mirror while the maid helped her with her clothes.
It was different from what she usually wore, a bit out of her imagination that a day would come when she wore a pair of trousers. She almost forgot how comfy they felt.
The maids were braiding her hair to make it easy for her to train with it.
"Do you want the braids rolled up or want it down?" A maid asked, her fingers expertly weaving through the princess’s hair.
"Roll it up; I think that will be better," Abrielle replied, taking the umpteenth look at her outfit. It seemed like what Cedric normally wears with a bit of a feminine touch.
It’s just that she never realized how curvy Abrielle was until now. Her figure was more defined in this outfit it seemed more like she was going to seduce her trainer than even take lessons.
"Yes, Your Highness." The maid chimed then put on the final touches. The maids were a bit sceptical when the request came to dress the princess this way because it was not conventional, not that it was totally unheard of.
Some women actually did dress similarly but as normal mercenaries because of the nature of their job.
Abrielle turned around, her eyes going to Evelyn, who was watching from the sidelines. "What do you think?" She asked. Although Abrielle hardly asked the maid’s opinion, she wasn’t that confident today.
"You look perfect, Your Highness", Evelyn systematically replied. Abrielle didn’t think it was too sincere, but she would have to work with it.
"Let us get going, I don’t want Cedric to wait." Abrielle declared, and the maid led the way. Opening the door for the princess to step out.
Yesterday, after the study incident, Cedric seemed to have been avoiding her; she didn’t really understand why. Abrielle was eagerly awaiting to see him to extend her heartfelt thanks.
Evelyn claimed he took the knights out too deep into the forest to the untouched region for intense training. The same forest that was whispered to be haunted by mobsters that make a wolf look like a pup.
Cedric returned around midnight and didn’t appear before Abrielle until this morning. She got a message from him telling her to get ready to meet him on the training grounds.
The princess was super excited about this; definitely, he kept his word on training her.
They arrived at the training grounds; Abrielle’s eyes quickly scanned the space to find Cedric, who was busy instructing the knights as they trained.
He had a stern look on his face, his hand folded across his chest as he barked out commands to the knights. His top had short black sleeves which exposed some of these markings which looked like tattoos, but Abrielle was now informed they weren’t tattoos. Regardless he looked handsome.
His skin was sun-kissed as the sun’s morning rays cast on his image. It seemed like he sensed her as soon as she arrived, his gaze shifted from the knights to Abrielle.
They were cold and stoic; she wasn’t expecting that welcoming, and her unease grew. "Good luck, your highness," Evelyn cheered, then withdrew.
Even the powerful assassin was shaken by the prince’s gaze. Cedric didn’t spare a word and beckoned her to come. She nervously swallowed her hands clenched by her sides as she waddled her way to his side.
Cedric’s gaze was back on the knights. Curtis was doing a good job, but he felt they had lost their edge, which he noticed during their outdoor training.
"Good morning; I heard you spent the night in the forest," Abrielle mentioned once she was beside him. She got intimidated by the height disparity and his dominant aura.
"I did. You didn’t miss cuddling next to me or did you?" He casually replied in the same stern voice that he never used around here
"I was looking forward to having a conversation, but you seem a bit grumpy today." She could not point her finger on exactly what it was.
He arched an eyebrow at her, "Grumpy, my mood is considered nice if you ask them. You are just not used to seeing me this way." He started with the same tone.
She nodded, maybe it was because his men were here. Cedric was naturally a cold person; she had seen his psychotic side a lot, but he rarely showed this cold personality.
"So what are we starting on?" She tried to change the topic. He turned, using his gaze to gauge her up; he wondered what made her so brave when she was this small.
The truth was that Abrielle wasn’t petite in any way and could be described as a tall woman, but next to Cedric, she was small.
"First, we start with the rules, Just because I am your husband doesn’t mean I will be too soft on you." He stated; she frowned, her eyes blazing.
"I don’t need you to be soft on me. I need to learn." The spark in her eyes said she was ready to burn to prove her point.
"Trust me, if I am not soft, you won’t survive the training. I am being considerate not because you are my little beloved wife; instead, you are the sheltered daughter who can’t even walk long distances. You can’t suddenly get strong, Aby. It is a long painful journey."
"I understand Cedric, what are the rules?" She requested.
"For starters breaking any of the rules leads to a punishment."
"What are the punishments?" She asked and he smirked at her. "That is my digression to determine."
"Second, always be on time. You were half an hour late." He didn’t seem happy about that
"Getting ready took longer than I expected." She retorted
"That’s not an excuse and bloody goddess. Are you here to tempt me or train? I wish the outfit would have been a bit uglier, and now the others will be tempted to stare at you, not that they would dare." Cedric groaned, seeming
tired.
"Are you upset because of it? This is practical. That’s why I wore it; maybe I will ask for more loose clothes." She suggested.
"It won’t help with a body like yours; it doesn’t matter what you wear. It will still turn me on. Now I regret agreeing to this. Now I have to control my urge to pin you against a wall and make you scream as I grind into you."
He was too blunt for her to handle; her cheeks went completely scarlet, nervous that someone might have heard him.
