The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride-Chapter 599: King Eros
Chapter 599: King Eros
"If you think I was here because I wanted to harm you with such little magic, you are so wrong Elliana Minerva," Sophia’s eyes immediately turned a shade of green and Elliana stepped back.
Green Emerald Clan. That’s the clan this witch belonged to.
"Is that so? Then what was it?" Elliana asked, completely relaxed while Sebastian had his hand on the witch’s neck now.
Sophia scoffed even when her complexion was turning pale. In her eyes, she was winning the battle already since was able to find out how much power Elliana was collecting.
Now all that was left was to go and tell her boss all about it.
"Do you really think I will tell you? You can play these mind games with someone else. Not me," Sophia said.
Elliana sighed.
She clapped her hands in the air and a large screen appeared in the middle of the hall, making Sebastian look at her in envy.
"I really envy this kind of technology sometimes," Sebastian said, making Lucas chuckle at his choice of words, earning himself a glare from their King.
As soon as Elliana saw Sebastian glaring at Lucas, she scowled.
"Hey," Elliana looked at Sebastian, and Lucas, who felt like he finally found his Savior, immediately rushed to her side, standing behind her.
"Aren’t you ashamed of standing behind a woman?" Sebastian exclaimed when he saw what his subordinate was seeing.
"Well, she isn’t a woman for me. She is my future queen and probably someone who will save me from the wrath of my King," Lucas said shamelessly, making Sebastian chuckle and shake his head.
The trio was chuckling and talking among themselves but Sophia was shocked in her place as she looked at the scene playing on the screen.
"Just to get my facts right, were you going to report this witch boss of yours?" Elliana asked, the screen displaying a haggard and crying Azrael who was sitting in the corner of the cell.
Elliana saw the lady, shocked herself.
She didn’t really expect the lady to start crying. Was she really that scared? She wondered.
"You scoundrels! You heartless people! What have you done to my boss? Where is she locked? Why isn’t she able to come out?! What have you done?" Sophia struggled under Sebastian’s grip as she looked at Elliana with utmost hatred.
Elliana looked back at the witch with a calm expression.
"I promised your boss a lifetime of hell if she kept coming between me and my husband. For some reason, she is allowed to ruin people’s lives but we aren’t even allowed to take revenge for what she did to us? Do you think we are living in some good era?" Elliana asked.
Sophia gritted her teeth.
"She did all of this with you guys because she deserves happiness too. What’s wrong with loving one man her entire life and wanting to bring her back? So what if you have to die for that purpose? You shouldn’t even have been born in the first place," Sophia spat.
Elliana’s expression didn’t change. She just stood there, hearing whatever Sophia was saying, but the others who were listening to her too, couldn’t control their anger.
"What did you say?" Sebastian’s reaction was the loudest, but before he could tighten his hold on the witch’s neck and snap it, everyone felt a swoosh of wind and the witch disappeared from his grip.
It was amazing. How could a witch disappear from his hands? It was practically impossible. Even Azrael couldn’t -
Before they could finish talking, they heard the sound of a glass breaking and everyone looked at King Eros who had his hands around Sophia’s neck.
"Dad?" Elliana whispered in surprise.
"How dare you curse my daughter?!" King Eros asked, his dark witch aura taking over him which almost appeared like a black haze of smog covering the entire area around him.
"What is with your parents loving the idea of breaking the palace’s glass?" Sebastian whispered in Elliana’s ears, who stood there shocked before a smile appeared on her face.
"Hey!" She smacked his chest and he pulled her close before kissing her forehead.
"Don’t take her words to heart. I don’t think there has been anything more beautiful in this world than you being born. At least for me, you are a gift sent from heaven," Sebastian said, looking into her eyes to tell her how serious he really was with his words.
Elliana smiled, a blush creeping up her neck before she hid her face in his chest, making him chuckle as he ruffled her hair and pulled her closer.
King Eros sent the witch away to his people who would deal with her before turning to where his daughter was standing.
A soft smile appeared on his face.
"King Sebastian, I know you love my daughter a lot and probably don’t want to leave her side but I wanted to have some time with her too," Eros chuckled awkwardly, making Elliana blush even more.
"What can I say, King Eros? I just can’t leave her side. She is like the oxygen I need to breathe and function properly," Sebastian whispered, making Elliana bite her bottom lip.
"Stop it," She slapped his chest playfully before hiding her face in his chest even more, making him smile.
"I can only allow a few minutes before I need her back in my arms," Sebastian said to the man before turning to look at his wife.
"Baby, I have to look at a few documents. Have a chat with your dad till then, okay?" He whispered before kissing her forehead, cupping her cheeks with a longing smile before he nodded at King Eros one last time and walked with Lucas and Ambrose to his office.
Miss Zoya, who was standing in the corner of the hall, pressed her lips into a thin line.
"Princess Elliana -" Miss Zoya started, shameful.
Elliana smiled at the woman before shaking her head.
"Please don’t feel guilty about it. You had no idea," Elliana dismissed the matter before she followed her dad to her room.
As soon as they reached the room, King Eros, who couldn’t wait anymore immediately pulled her close and hugged her tightly.
"My Princess," He whispered before ruffling her hair softly.
"There was a time when I was so excited to touch you and hold you in my arms. Look at you all grown up like this," King Eros said before he held her hand.
He looked at his baby girl, his heart aching terribly for all the moments he missed with his daughter. He had so many hopes and dreams for this future together.
He had even planned out what kinds of spells he would teach her first and how he would train her to say his name the first thing when she learned to speak.
However, looking at how things changed, he couldn’t help being emotional.
"I am sorry, I am not the emotional type but-" King Eros turned around and wiped his eyes.
Seeing her dad getting so emotional, even though Elliana always had a hard time getting used to people and their presence, she still hugged him from behind to comfort him.
"You are here now,d. That’s what matters at the end of the day. You have no idea how happy I am right now," She whispered, making him nod.
"I don’t know what to say. This should be the time when we should be enjoying our time together, but instead of that, we are still thinking about how to solve our problems that don’t seem to be ending," King Eros said before he took a deep shaking breath.
"I... I heard from Azura about what’s going on. About the siren powers and the two remaining months," King Eros whispered, making Elliana smile.
She walked in front of him before pulling him to the bed, making him sit there while she sat on the ground.
"Don’t worry about it, dad. You need to focus on recuperating first. Mr. Marino and I will think of something fast. Don’t worry about it. Capturing witch Azrael was one of the biggest victories already," Elliana said and King Eros sighed.
"I heard from Nathaniel that you got my hell’s fire too," King Eros said.
Elliana smiled.
"Of course, how could I not when I am Taipan’s daughter?" Elliana asked, and the man chuckled, remembering the weird name that his demon lord friend gave to him.
However, after some time, that smile faltered, and he gulped, a clear indication that he wanted to say something.
"What is it, dad?" She asked, urging him to say what he was really here for.
"Well, I do have a solution for this problem. And you won’t have to run anywhere for it either. Everything is available here," King Eros said.
Elliana looked at him with beaming eyes and she stood in her place with a smile on her face.
He had the solution? She thought before her smile started to falter.
Wait. Why was he serious if there was a solution and why didn’t he tell anyone about it? Elliana thought.
"A bone marrow transplant," King Eros said and Elliana’s expression turned dark.
