The Emperor's Omega Is An Extra-Chapter 73: Preparation For The Banquet (3)
Chapter 73: Preparation For The Banquet (3)
A few minutes later, some magazines were brought up, and they even looked it up online. Although preparing menswear wasn’t as extensive as women’s gowns, the patterns and some parts of it were different from alpha and omega.
"Did His Majesty not have someone prepare outfits for you?" They had already been looking for an hour when Rave suddenly brought this topic up.
Arren stopped looking at the laptop and shifted his gaze to the omega, and bravely met the other’s piercing eyes under the guise of a graceful demeanor.
However, he really did think about this question. Arren couldn’t answer for a few moments, as he really didn’t know how to answer. It was already a week before the palace banquet, and the alpha had yet to ask anything about his outfit or if he wanted to call some designers over.
Rave’s eyes dimmed while looking at him, and Arren quickly answered to defend himself from the white-haired omega’s judging eyes.
"There’s really nothing; why will I ask you for help if I already have an outfit? Do you think I only want to waste your time?" Arren exclaimed, a little annoyed about this assumption, even without directly saying it.
They stared at each other and Rave’s eyes and expression were enough to answer Arren and clearly written on his face the words, "It is possible,"
Arren dramatically parted his mouth and stared at the omega before him, "Seriously, Rave? Am I that petty in your eyes?" He exclaimed as though he was really hurt about it.
However, as always, the white-haired omega wasn’t moved at all and only stared at him intently.
"Just make sure that we are not wasting time here... Arren." Rave opened his mouth and said, although it sounded like a threat initially, the omega added his name at the end to make it at least respectful.
Arren nodded and grinned without taking it to heart.
"Of course, I never waste time, much less waste other people’s time for me," he confidently answered.
And facts proved that Arren did waste his and Rave’s time. He only found out in the evening that Spade did already have an outfit ready for Arren as he was asking the alpha what his opinion was on the two outfits he chose.
He was dumbfounded and surprised.
"When did I have an outfit?" he asked, not quite believing it at all.
Spade put down the two pictures, then looked at Arren and answered, "Last month, I already had someone measure your measurements, remember?"
Arren’s suits have been being prepared since a month ago, and Spade would never neglect anything related to Arren. He thought that the omega was not asking about it since, like before, he wasn’t particularly interested in any banquets, so he decided on his own.
Arren frowned, trying to recall what the alpha was saying. And a light bulb formed in his head as he vaguely remembered that it seemed like something like that did happen.
If he could remember, he visited the palace at that time, and the alpha had someone measure him for a suit, and he thought it was only for customized suits. How would he know that it was for a palace banquet?
He looked at the alpha, feeling aggrieved. "Why you didn’t tell me earlier? And... you even heard me say that I’m looking for clothes with Rave, right?"
Spade was taken aback and couldn’t understand why Arren already had an outfit that elicited that much reaction from him. He didn’t know what to do and wrapped his arms around Arren.
"I thought you only say that as an excuse for leaving us alone earlier," Spade answered. He truly thought that it was only an excuse.
Arren pursed his lips and became depressed. Now, he would really appear petty once Rave found out about it. He suddenly felt that he had lost. How could he face that annoying omega later?
Spade didn’t know what was going on, so he couldn’t comfort Arren with words, and the only thing he could do was embrace him.
"That one will definitely think of me as petty," Arren grumbled, not accepting his loss.
With this understanding immediately flashing in Spade’s eyes, he already had a guess, but he still asked, "Who?"
"Rave. I asked for his help to choose my outfit, now, he would think i really only waste his time," grumbling about it, Arren pursed his lips. He didn’t intend to waste the other’s time at all, but he still unconsciously did so! He feels so wronged just thinking about it.
As he confirmed it, a ghost of a smile appeared on Spade’s lips. He had guessed earlier that Rave Amos might be involved somehow. In the palace, Rave was always the only one with Arren beside Spade. And at some point, his omega often grumbled about how annoying Rave was and that they were destined to be enemies.
However, in Spade’s eyes, the two omegas did complement each other. He was glad that Arren finally had someone he would call his real friend, even though both omegas didn’t want to admit it yet.
"Do you want to use one of these suits instead?" Spade still tried to comfort Arren and suggested one solution.
Arren shook his head; he didn’t want Spade’s efforts and good intentions to go to waste either. He shut his eyes or whatever; he would just avoid meeting Rave for a while. Then he would act as if nothing happened after a few days. With this decision, his mood became better again.
Spade could only shake his head at the unpredictability of the omega. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

And finally, it was already the day of the most anticipated palace banquets of the year.
Arren grinned at Rave, who was helping him put some of the accessories on his suit. Although not as extravagant as a royal member’s suits, one glance and one could notice how extraordinary it was.
In terms of his status, it wasn’t out of place either, and everyone would at least nod their heads and then gossip about it. Therefore, no one would connect it with a tailored suit that the Emperor himself personally prepared for his omega.
Rave’s expression was still calm as per usual, and no upheaval could be seen as he helped Arren, but the blank looks he was giving Arren revealed his thoughts.
However, he only grinned at the white-haired omega as if he really forgot what happened after days of avoiding Rave, who was his personal attendant in the palace.
"It’s a good suit, right?" Arren began to brag about the suit especially prepared for him by Spade, but in Rave’s perspective, the other only appeared to be taunting him.
The brows of the white-haired omega slightly furrowed before becoming normal again. His palms became slightly itchy for a moment. However, for a while, he nodded and agreed.
"It’s really good, Arren. To the point, you might be in trouble later." Rave said with his soft voice, but the tone was somewhat monotonous, as if stating the obvious.
Arren frowned and asked, "Why do you think so?"
"It’s because you’re too beautiful; a lot of alphas and even omegas will want to dance with you," Rave shrugged as an answer.
Arren laughed, didn’t get provoked by Rave, and instead grinned.
"Thank you for the compliment, you’re really such a good person."
Rave could only admit defeat for now.
