Chapter 150: Finally, Renata Knows About Her Rebirth!

As Renata gazed into Aurora’s sharp, deep eyes, which seemed to hold a thousand secrets, she felt a flutter of emotions as if part of her soul were caught in a gentle struggle.

Renata waited for Aurora to speak, but she remained silent.

She could now see Aurora wearing the same shocked expression as hers.

"I heard all that you said, Rory! I truly heard it..." Renata went on, tears flowing down her face. She cried a lot, not from sadness but from overwhelming happiness at finally confirming everything that had nearly driven her insane over the past few weeks.

"I know this experience must be absurd to rational people, but I don’t care. At least I know your mind and soul have returned to this Earth and live among us, Rory! Even if it is in someone else’s body." Renata spoke again as she smiled, looking at Aurora, who finally appeared calm.

Although Aurora wasn’t sure Renata could hear her, she whispered while tightly embracing her, "Rena, I’m happy you’re finally able to hear me..."

Earlier, she had nearly lost her mind trying to tell Renata everything, and eventually, she succeeded.

Aurora didn’t know what happened or why Renata could hear her words, but she no longer cared. She was so happy. Simply happy!

After their quiet embrace, they felt a surge of happiness bubbling inside them, and they couldn’t help but let it pour out.

After some time, their hugs became more relaxed, and bright smiles illuminated their faces as they looked at each other.

Renata took both of Aurora’s hands and held them tightly. She looked at their hands momentarily before looking into Aurora’s eyes.

"Listen, even though I believe it’s you, Rory, just in case... I want to test you! I hope you don’t mind?"

Aurora gasped, surprised by her sentence. However, in the end, she nodded. "Sure... you can ask me anything you want that can make you more certain."

"Well, I believe it’s you. But, I don’t know, I just want you to answer a few of my questions," Renata clarified.

"Go ahead..." Aurora chuckled softly, her eyes sparkling with amusement as she glanced at the curious Renata.

Renata paused for a moment, and then her eyes lit up as she found some questions to ask. "What date was the last time we had dinner, and what was the event?"

"Come on, Rena... that’s simple!" Aurora smiled. "My birthday is September sixth!"

"You’re correct! That was too simple!" Renata nodded thoughtfully before continuing, "Okay, here’s another question: who called you then and scolded you to leave?"

Aurora’s expression instantly stiffened, recalling that moment. "Alex’s mother..." she answered bitterly.

"I knew it was you. Well, girl, trust me, I’m confident about that." Renata smiled. "I just want to make sure this ridiculous rebirth hasn’t caused you to lose any memories."

"I know you faithfully believe I’m Aurora; that is why you can finally hear me when I tell you about my miracle experience." Aurora smiled faintly.

That was one of the reasons Renata could finally hear it: she didn’t just suspect that she was reincarnated in Aurora Spencer’s body; she was certain. She believed.

"Yeah... but I need you to answer this for me. This is incredibly secret. Only three people know about it!" Renata’s eyes narrowed at Aurora.

When Aurora looked tense, she formed her lips into a thin smile. "Don’t worry, Rory... if you come back with all your memories, you will remember."

"Please hurry and ask your question..." Aurora urged with impatience.

"Who took my virginity?"

"What the heck! Why would you ask that?"

"Answer me, girl!" Renata urged, trying to maintain her smile.

Aurora shook her head slowly, surprised that she had asked about that. With a gentle flick of her forehead, she calmly responded, "That foolish Danny!"

Renata laughed, overwhelmed with joy that her best friend had truly returned to her with her memories intact.

She embraced Aurora again, hesitating to let her go, fearing she might truly disappear.

However, soon after that, a loud knock sounded from the door and startled them. They exchanged puzzled glances as they looked at the door.

"Yes?" Renata asked, annoyed that someone had dared to disturb her while chatting with her best friend.

There was no answer, but the door opened rather quickly, and Josh, with a worried and angry expression, appeared from behind it.

"Keanu... Ugh, I mean Josh... What happened?" Renata asked, confused, watching him suddenly march toward them with a stern gaze directed at her as if he wanted to crush her with his stare.

"Josh, stop!" Aurora snapped, seeing his anger toward Renata. She stood up, her eyes calmly staring at him.

When she finally saw him halt his steps and look at her, she instructed, "Wait outside. I will go out soon."

"But, ma’am, I simply can’t! I know this woman made you cry!" Josh insisted.

"Josh, leave now, or I will be very upset with you..." Aurora replied sternly, and her eyes appeared sharp with a cold gaze to make Josh aware of her distraughtness.

After seeing Josh, who was still upset, leave the room, Aurora glanced back at Renata.

"What the heck! Rory, Josh is this little girl’s boyfriend, right?" Renata asked.

Aurora let out a deep sigh. She knew she couldn’t hide anything from Renata about what happened to her after her rebirth. But she can’t explain now. She had been here too long. And they must be late to return to Stardust.

"No. He is my security detail." Aurora answered faintly, barely smiling as she looked at her in shock.

Renata couldn’t believe what she had just heard. She stood up from her seat and turned to Aurora.

"Y-You have a bodyguard? Aurora Spencer, who are you, really!? Why do you have a bodyguard, and he is so freaking handsome?" Renata asked curiously.

"I will explain later, Rena. I need to return to the company." Aurora gently patted Renata’s shoulder.

"Alright, but you have to call me soon, girl!" freewēbnoveℓ.com

"I will for sure," Aurora said, rushing out of the room.

"Why are you in tears? Is she harming you?" Josh’s tone startled Aurora.

Aurora didn’t immediately answer him. Instead, she walked toward the kitchen and entered the hall.

"Stop assuming that everyone around me is a bad person who might hurt me. I can guarantee that Rena isn’t that kind of person!" Aurora said.

"Are you sure she is kind?" Josh doubts her.

"Hmm, let’s go! We’re running late..." Aurora said, quickening her step.
