Chapter 159: The Master
Arc 3, Chapter 159 — The Master

The many military soldiers and guards who appeared, all had grin expressions when listening to the tales of many.
"What? So... it was the church who saved you, Mr. president?"
"Eh? The Man of God was injured and rushed away to his country?"
"Damn these Mercenaries! How dare they think of attacking the president of our great nation?"
"Abominable! We must find them and teach them a lesson they’ll never forget in a hurry!"

Glandol looked to the skies and sighed. ’Great-grandfather, I didn’t understand when you said I might never go against the CHURCH.... They are terrible.’
To hide such strength from the dawn of time, is a form of power he could never imagine.
His Great-Grandfather was a former Prime minister. He never understood why his Grandfather was so afraid of the church. But now he did.
Today’s matter was no doubt an eye opener for many. And now with backup here, Glandol and the many ministers could finally breathe... taking this time to look through the newly signed contract again.
They knew for sure that they must have been cheated. However, no one dared to complain. They knew this was punishment to not just them, but their country, for terminating the former contract.
In a way, Glandol and everyone else felt like sinners.
Since the dawn of the country’s time, the contract had stood, only changing slightly overtime through negotiations, but never getting TERMINATED.
Then, they came... feeling pompous and cocky, terminating it and throwing their ancestors’ hard work to the dust.
Sure enough, there are mountains higher than hills. One must learn to stay humble in this dog-eat-dog-world or they might just regret it for the rest of their lives.
...
Whoop. Whoop. Whoop~
The blades of the chopper churned rhythmically.
"Head?" Claudina had long noticed that something wasn’t right with her Department Head.
In fact she had noticed it since yesterday... he seemed to be in a foul mood. Obviously, she didn’t think those ants back there were the cause of his worries.
In her impression, they were too insignificant to bear any weight in the Head’s mind. So what could have happened?
Slowly retracting his gaze from the window, Henry turned to look at Claudina. "The Blood Line is going to be buzzing."
With his words, Claudina’s eyes drooped. Only one thing can make the Red Line this active. "Head, Has the Master awoken?"
"Hmmm..." Henry nodded grimly. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
The Master was another name for the Emperor—the Vampire Emperor, the most powerful Vampire in existence.
After the last crusade, it took a leg and an arm to seal some of the Master’s powers and shovel him into a slumbering state. But now with his awakening, it meant just one thing.
"He’ll slowly regain his powers... but as the prophecy said, it will be with the help of the one called Zion."
Henry paused. "Claudina, you know what that means."
"Yes." Claudina’s expressionless face showed signs of cracking. "The Last and Final Crusade is lurking."
According to the prophecy from the Seers, this will be the crusade that ends it all, or the crusade that breaks it all.
In short, this last crusade will determine if the Master will keep living in the human world, or not.
Of course, should The Master perish, it doesn’t mean all other vampires will go extinct.
No~.... It just means that the most powerful Vampire that can truly destroy the human race as a whole, is now gone.
In the future, perhaps another vampire will take the Master’s place. But that’s all in the future, should humanity WIN in this upcoming Crusade.

Levon woke up and stretched to his heart’s content, feeling that last night’s sleep was the best he had gotten in a while. He allowed his consciousness to sink into his body and appeared before the sleeping feline
Sigh...
Yaeger was still in a deep Slumbering state. Knowing there was nothing he could do, he returned his consciousness to reality, cleaned himself up , heading for breakfast with the others before heading to classes.
"Tch." Several others around them scoffed in deep conversation.
"This guy..." one of them began. "This is the 4th class that Son of a Fish has missed!"
"Damn, I feel like punching him into oblivion. What kind of instructor is this? Doesn’t he care at all for our progress? Doesn’t he know that if we succeed, we’ll definitely remember him with kindness and gratitude?"
Several people with shards from piles 14 to 19, were muttering their thoughts.
"Exactly! Right now, we are Potential Stocks! Shouldn’t he be investing in us so we can yield him big time profits in the future?"
Pfft.
Bloomingdale, who overheard them, laughed so hard his muscles began to flex. "Just you?"
It was funny how these weaklings actually felt that WINHEST would need a favor from them somewhere down the line. Sure enough, Dreamers can really DREAM.
Levon also found it ridiculous. For any instructor... kissing someone’s ass now in hopes they can grow and help you out, is a sign that you have acknowledged you are weaker than them.
Perhaps it was okay for Levon and many of them to lower favors to each other, seeing as they were All on the same ranking Level. But if WINHEST, a high ranking person kisses the ass of a newbie all in hopes of one day getting a favor returned, do you know how weak that makes WINHEST look?
Sometimes Levon was amused by the brain circuits of these people. But then again... not everyone can have strength and intelligence raised to max stats.
Among the Bloodren 10s, some people had more brains than strength, some people had more strength than brains... other people had 50/50 raise in both strength and brains... while others were at 100% in terms of ability and intelligence.
Nevertheless, despite these differences, this didn’t necessarily make these lower thinking Bloodrens Weak.
Even without their abilities, they’d still be able to survive on the streets and in life more vigorously than the Normies in the outside world.
In the end...without this place, some might have joined the Underworld and Yakuzas, using brute strength, extraordinary communication skills, and dominance to build gangs and loyalty among the members.
