I Will Survive Till The End: Blood Extermination Academy-Chapter 116: STRONG!
Chapter 116: STRONG!
Chapter 116 — STRONG!
.
.
Everything happened too suddenly.
Hiss!~
So painful!
Levon felt tremendous pain on his neck. He knew for a fact that if he didn’t do something soon, he would Pass out or get killed.
RELEASE!
His Katana shard activated, sweeping through the air with venomous intent.
However, seconds before the attack landed its mark, the vampire let out a broader grin in a dull manner.
~Slash
The hand gripping Levon’s throat was sliced off at elbow length.
Blood splattered from the cut wound like a fountain.
And without a second thought, Levon leaped to the side, with the sliced-off hand still gripping his neck hard.
"Oh my~" The vampire mused, with his other intact-hand in his pocket. "Is this the part where you expect me to cry?"
Dammit! Levon cursed. One look and Levon knew his so-called attack did nothing.
If anything, it excited the vampire so much that the ends of its black inky hair danced even more rapidly than before.
"Well now, it seems I’m starting to like you... very much."
The vampire seemed to be in a good mood. And as it spoke, it raised its right arm that was injured.
—And before Levon could react, he felt a strong force drag him towards the vampire.
Ouff~
Try as he might, he couldn’t pry himself from the force.
’IT’S THE HAND.’ Levon concluded, feeling the fingers around his neck, yanking him towards their master.
The severed choking him had bountiful strength that made his face turn slightly blue.
Levon found himself getting dragged towards the vampire. And with one simple move, the severed hand clicked and reattached back into the cut-off point on the Vampire’s limbs.
How can its REJUVENATION be so fast and clean?—This vampire had far more superior rejuvenation abilities than any he had ever faced.
At this point, Levon had to admit that his body now overpowered his strong will. He, Levon, was actually shaky despite his strong heart.
He could see it... He could see white dots clouded in the corner of his eyes.
’Is this it? Will I pass out now? Dammit!’
He could feel it–Exhaustion pouring into his skin in waves.
They say pain could keep the dead awake. Levon bit the inside of his jaws to keep himself awake.
No matter how it ends, he, Levon Belmont, must be awake to see it through!
With desire knocking, he used the lollipop stick still in his mouth, bitting and ruthlessly jabbing it into his flesh.
It was odd to say that mixed within his anxiety, was still excitement that poured onto his face without him knowing it.
The vampire’s grin was growing broader, probably for reasons best known to it. "You amuse me, little weakling. What should I do if I like you more and more?"
Its creepy smile was truly eye boggling.
But then, Its Expression hardened...And the next thing Levon knew, the pressure around his neck increased without warning.
—Fainted.
Levon was passed out cold, seconds before another figure emerged.
After dropping Levon to the ground like a piece of garbage, the vampire unhurriedly turned around and let out a whiff of wind from his lips.
Fheew~
The dust and cobwebs in the space gathered in a tornado, before heading out towards the massive Fountain from where Levon emerged from.
Now, the room was spotless.
Taking a seat, the vampire elegantly crossed its legs and arms.
"Took you long enough, Old Friend."
.
.
They say life is a Mystery filled with untold stories.
A vampire and a leader within the organization, in one space, not killing each other—Isn’t that a mystery in itself?
~Ghawk-Kakakakakakakak
The red-haired destroyer laughed with his head thrown far back.
"Sorry for the delay, old friend. However, who knew you would wake up far ahead of schedule?"
Gaara slowly walked towards Levon. "Eh? Hey now, what’s this all about?"
The vampire shrugged in lazy amusement: "I was about to ask you the same thing. I could say, it must be some error on the part of some lily-livered bastard to send the boy over to take my life... However, I’ve come to think otherwise."
"Oh?"
Gaara grinned and raised a brow, scrutiny and amusement very evident in his expression.
He recognized this boy.
’First, Viletta lets me keep an eye on the boy; and now, he shows up here?...’ Gaara poked Levon’s cheeks like a child discovering a new toy. ’Kid, what is it about you that draws everyone’s attention?’
Grabbing Levon and throwing him over his shoulders, Gaara spoke a little more with the Vampire, before taking off.
’Levon Belmont...’
If before he didn’t take it seriously... The name was sure to now stick like glue in Gaara’s mind.
~Tick-Tock. Tick-Tock!
Time flew by in a flash.
’MUST STAY AWAKE!’
Those were the first thoughts that flooded his mind after waking up. Levon woke up with a sinking heart and eyes coated with vigilance.
"So you’re finally up." The overly boisterous speaker was Gaara. "Now that your eyelids have decided to move, then I take it you can walk or run on your own."
Thud~
Gaara dumped Levon on the ground without care.
What does he look like? A babysitter?
Levon leaned on a tree, realizing he was still within the Forbidden forest. This was the forest region before the swamp.
Did this red-haired guy save him?
"Sit down kid," Gaara instructed.
Gaara gave off the impression of someone who isn’t serious and always joking around. However, Levon could feel in his soul that if he did not oblige, this guy might result in PURE violence.
’That uniform...’ Levon’s eyes flickered, recalling Roud and Viletta’s uniforms. ’Another Department Head?’
"Looks like my trick worked in waking you up sooner. After all, how will you begin your training if you don’t return tomorrow?"
"_"
Training? Him? When did they agree on such things?
Without giving Levon time to think, Gaara dismissed him. "Shoo, go already. Just make sure you return tomorrow, or—"
~BAM!
The tree behind Levon shattered into a million pieces, triggering a bittersweet knot in his heart.
He didn’t even see how Gaara did it.
So Strong!
Once again, Levon felt the urge to be a madman, wishing to fight Gaara now.
Levon gave Gaara one last look, before taking off into the distance.
Soon, he was back in his room, laying on his bed with a chaotic heart.
’Truly... I should be sick, right?’
Even without Gaara’s words, he would have still returned to see that vampire.
There was a strange madness that appealed to him when dancing with death.
’That vampire... he was wearing a uniform.’
Even with his eyes closed, Levon could still recall the uniform the vampire wore.
That was one of the reasons why Levon wasn’t afraid of getting TURNED. At worst, it would kill him, but not turn him.
However, he was betting on the fact that the vampire wouldn’t Kill him.
Levon didn’t know where his confidence came from, but what he fought for, was a chance to stay AWAKE in its presence, long enough to understand why only he could hear its slumbering.
For after all, isn’t that the reason he ventured far out in the first place?
With a slight chuckle, Levon turned in his sheets, finding he was no longer able to hear the Slumbering.
Well, it was awake, so what did you expect him to hear?
’I see. So it’s a Vampire working for the Order?’
Fufufufufufu~
’This place just keeps getting better and better.’
.
.
.
Soon, the morning came. Several people woke up alongside the sunlight.
However, Levon was fast asleep, snoring all the way through breakfast.
Artilla, Leo, Shugo and Rayna, did check on him once, but Levon was so passed out he didn’t hear a single thing they said.
All 4 looked at each other tactfully, understanding the training their Brother Levon did last night, must have been quite exhausting.
However, this meant he must be pushing himself higher than he ever did.
With that, all 4 went for lunch without him.
Speaking of cafeteria times, the Order only had 3 mealtimes: Breakfast, Lunch and Supper.
That was it.
It was funny that Supper time ended at 11 PM, the exact time when Lights out began.
But as the rules imply, so long as you are ’detected’ to be asleep, then who can say it’s not your ghost eating a meal in the Cafeteria?
Breakfast starts from 6~11 AM.
Lunch is from 2~4 PM.
And Supper starts from 6~11 PM.
Those are the only times people here ate. Unless they had some privileges, like Levon with his lollipops or Shugo with his endless supply of poisonous snacks.
Levon slowly opened his eyes at about 4 in the afternoon.
"Empty as usual."
He was greeted with emptiness.
A majority of people should be training. Levon had only seen a handful of people along his way to the bath.
Sure enough, there’s nothing more soothing than a good steamy bath.
