I Will Survive Till The End: Blood Extermination Academy-Chapter 115: Found It!
Chapter 115: Found It!
Arc 2, Chapter 115—Found It!

With his only option being to forge forward, what else could he do?
Levon held his breath, swimming through the tunnel with a cautious mind.
There was another problem. He was almost running out of oxygen. It’s been 12 minutes swimming through his tunnel, and he could already feel his body reacting.
Since awakening his shard ability, the more his ability grew, the longer he could stay under water. But this didn’t mean he was omnipotent.
At his current level, he can only stay underwater for a maximum of 14 minutes, 21 seconds.
Fortunately, he could hear the faint underwater gushing of water in the distance.
GREAT!
’Its wont be too long now,’ Levon told himself, as he swam and swam with all his might. And then—
Swoosh!
He shot out from the underwater tunnel, appearing in a massive pool of water.
Where was he? Running a hand over his wet face, Levon looked hastily.
Again, he asked: Where the hell was he?
There were statues of Angels surrounding all the main corner heads of the gigantic stony bowl he now swam in.
Well, the bowl he was in looked to be a massive fountain.
Levon breathed exaggeratingly, reaching for the edge and reeling himself out of the circular pool.
Then he paused to really take in all of his surroundings.
"Well, isn’t this a sight?"
The space felt quite desolate with old stone structures and walls that held history.
The entire place was quite ominous, with high ceilings, statues of angels, and crosses that symbolized the Holy mark.
Din-Din-Din~
Levon left a trail of water when walking through the enormous floor to ceiling tunnel lined with statues on both sides. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
What a strange person Levon was.
It was odd that given such a scene, he could still be smiling.
The slumbering noise could be heard all around this place, and Levon... oh, Levon... was mad with glee.
"It’s nights like this that make it all worthwhile... A night filled with discovery, excitement and terror."
Doesn’t this describe the perfect night all too well?
Despite death looming around him, Levon felt there was something contradictingly wrong with him.
He loved... loved such nights very well.
The corner’s of Levon’s lips never stopped rising, the further in he walked.
After bypassing several doors and hallways, Levon finally pushed the main door at the far back. But what he saw was something that left his pupil’s dilating at an alarming rate.
"A coffin?"
Levon was taken aback.
The smell of copper and decay was a putrid blend that made his stomach churn.
’Decay shouldn’t smell like this.’
The room was breathed with sinister stillness.
It had its shadows—shadows that didn’t just merely occupy the space, but devoured it!
The Dust motes danced mesmerizingly while underneath the rare silvers of the strange dimly-glowing plants on the ceilings.
They glittered like specters, their tiny existences celebrating life.
The stone floors were cold and unforgiving, and everywhere one looked, there were cobwebs of all sizes staring them back in the face.
Again, common sense would lead any normal person to flee. But you see, Levon had to admit that he had some screws loosened in his head, causing him to shake with excitement instead.
.
.
"A coffin in one of the Forbidden areas?"
With heavy scrutiny, Levon walked in.
There was thick coagulated blood hanging on the stone walls and rims like rotting velvet curtains.
"How unsettling..." Levon muttered, tightened his grip of the lollipop stick in his mouth.
As expected, his favorite lollipop had just the right amount of magic to soothe his tensed nerves.
Since leaving the Mansion tonight, he has already eaten up at least 4 of his favorite strawberry lollipops.
The 5th one was the one in his mouth.
Right before Levon was a coffin—a majestic dark ominous coffin that left the hairs on his hands standing high.
Just look at that work of art?
It was a masterpiece made with the strangest type of wood Levon had ever seen.
Its surface was etched with arcane symbols.
There were intricate designs curling around its edges like serpents.
The coffin sat on a raised stone platform, surrounded by dried bloodstains and tattered crimson lines.
Levon had to admit that with one glance, his legs felt tempted to make for the hills. However, one thing was certain...
Levon’s fingers slowly ran across the coffin, collecting dust: It hasn’t been opened in a while.
ZZZZZ~
Levon’s smile grew broader. "It’s coming from inside."
—The slumbering noise that has plagued him for weeks.
"Sure enough, Reality is stronger than Fiction." Levon muttered uneasily.
For a moment, his mind went blank, finally feeling a wave of relief wash over him after finding the Source.
But why is it that only he can hear it?
’It’s too early for conclusions.’ Levon decided, leaving aside the obvious elephant in the room.
~Tick-Tock... Tick-Tock
Time for some more digging around.
Levon’s eyebrows lighted strangely when spotting a small library collection of books in the distance.
There were 3 wooden chairs, a desk, and even a couch in the corner.
Everything was covered in a thick coat of dust. And despite the cobwebs, it didn’t look like the owner of this place was in captivity.
Picking at random, Levon reached for a book with a deep forest green cover.
He flipped through it, p-laced it back, flipped through another, and repeated his actions severally—only, the longer he looked through, the faster his speed and movements.
’There’s no sense to this. There’s nothing written on any of them.’
Or could it be that he was wrong? Were the words scribbled with invisible ink instead?
Levon was deeply engrossed with his search... too engrossed to notice the sudden change in the atmosphere.
However— a shiver crawled up his spin, causing him to hastily throw his head behind his shoulders.
"IT’S OPEN!"
Instantly, Levon’s throat constricted, feeling his breathing grow heavier.
The Freaking Coffin was OPEN. Since when? And how come he didn’t hear a peep?
For a moment, he felt his knees softening.
The most terrifying issue was that the...the SLUMBERING... was GONE.
And now replacing it, was a burdening silence that made his senses heighten
Where is it? Where was the thing that crawled out the coffin?
Cold air climbed from his vertebra to his neck, as he darted his eyes around hastily.
The room was as dark and dimly lit as ever, with nothing out of place except for the open coffin.
The door was still hit, common sense telling him he was trapped in here with IT.
Well, the lollipop in his mouth had now shattered into a million pieces.
He was nervous, an emotion he rarely felt.
But did it mean he would suddenly lose all sense of scrutiny, over a fucking emotion? Heh.
Levon threw his head behind his shoulder again, sweeping his gaze uneasily.
He could feel it... he could feel its eyes on him. Yet, he couldn’t SEE A THING.
However, something deep in his heart told Levon he shouldn’t have turned his attention away.
FRAAA~
A shadowy image lurched at his other side from heaven-knows-where. It was incredibly fast, giving Levon no time to react.
Levon was grabbed by the neck and slammed him against the bookshelf.
BAAM!
There was a heavy taste of blood in his mouth, so much that he spat out a mouth load.
And amid the pain, Levon felt his breath getting caught in his throat.
A VAMPIRE!
There was no fucking doubt about it.
This was unbelievable.
Why would the Order keep such a thing in here without locking it up at all?
The most incredulous thing was that the Vampire had its eyes closed while attacking him.
’Was it still asleep?’
Dammit!
Adrenaline exploded in Levon’s body when activating his Shard Katana.
~SWOOSH!
It moved swiftly, but was easily countered by the Vampire, who stopped it with a single long fingernail.
Then, its closed eyes suddenly shot wide open, staring at the blood on Levon’s mouth deeply.
And the longer it stared, the redder its eyes, and hungrier its expression grew.
’IT’S HUNGRY.’
Levon’s heart fell into his chest, as time froze dead in its tracks.
The first time he saw IT, Levon’s breath got caught in his throat.
The towing Vampire had an aura of both menace and allure.
There was an unnerving flow in ITs eyes.
Its eyes were like embers that pierced through the darkness with intensity.
Its face was pale but stunningly good-looking, like a porcelain carved by a master sculptor.
Yet, there was something inhuman about it—an otherworldly perfect marriage by a predatory grin.
~Heh-heh-heh-heh!
Its sharp gleaming fangs continued to grow, alongside its long cascading black hair that whirled and floated in the air unnaturally.
The Vampire before him was a paradox in the flesh, a mixture of elegance, beauty, and monstrosity.
"Well, well, well...How exciting. To think I would receive company so soon."
It spoke in a wicked tease. And as it spoke, his clean but sharp fingernails continue to grow, stabbing into the flesh of his prey.
"I’ve slaughtered hundreds and thousands along the way, and not a day goes by that I don’t amuse myself with the thoughts of Death."
"After all, after living my sword, one must expect to die by the sword... However..."
Its voice turned colder, with NO hint of teasing in it.
"Only I will depict how I will go down... And it certainly isn’t from the hands of a weakling like YOU"
