Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 205: Gap
The poison in his veins is visible underneath his big cape. It was fast-acting, traveling up the veins of his arm like a snake. However, its progress stops when he generates the barrier to clogs up the blood system of his right arm.
"This is why I hate dogs like you, always using shitty tactics."
With one of them down, the bloodhound felt pressure. Only one mishap and one of them is already dead, even if they administer a lethal poison to the man, there is no guarantee that the mystic will die.
People at the 5th circle didn’t spawn by chance, they have been through experience and hardship to get to their level. And most of them are complete monsters.
Including Egul.
The bloodhound felt fear the moment he looked at the guy who was supposed to be poisoned by their fast-acting Viper venom. It could kill an average person in 20 seconds and is considered one of the most lethal poisons out there.
First, it numbs your sensation then it disable the ability for you to control your muscles. Rendering you unable to breathe and dying in the process.
However, it’s been about 10 seconds, and the guy doesn’t seem to be affected by their poison. Instead, he was smiling.
At that moment, the bloodhound wasn’t there to hunt this man anymore. They’re the ones being hunted here.
Shin!
At that moment, the sound of glasses breaking could be heard. The guy sitting on the ground chatting coughs up a pool of blood on the floor.
"2!"
The black swordsman screams, looking at his teammate whose condition is critical. The chant has been broken and the barrier that they set up is gone now. Their advantage is no more.
And all of this is thanks to Theia who’s summoned a big wolf. It bites the barrier 3 times before breaking it apart like a glass wall.
"Retreat!"
There are currently only three bloodhounds in good condition. The black sword barks an order. The first one to go is the one who does nothing in the background. He only looked at the situation, and he was the quickest to leave.
Followed closely by the one that chants while standing and lastly the black sword guy disengages from the fight after judging that the sitting chant guy is a lost cause.
He’s not even sure that he could save himself.
"Where the hell are you going!!!"
Egul screams, startling everyone nearby. Preventing the bloodhound’s escape. The various mystic powers that had been placed on Egul had been removed, and it felt as if he had simply moved a boulder off his shoulder. However, he wishes he could feel his own hand. The poison had already spread all over his arm. He could only keep it from spreading to the rest of the body.
But that doesn’t stop him. Pressing his leg on the ground Egul moved at a very fast speed. Catching up to the black sword guy in mere moments. The bloodhound couldn’t react to the approaching Egul and got his back broken by a kick.
A normal human body snaps like a mere toy in front of a 5 circle mystic. The impact sends the sword guy flying to the trees breaking another set of his bone.
Not wanting to suffer the same fate, the other two bloodhounds scatter. In their head, Egul would have to choose one of them to hunt down before going to another. Giving them a much-needed time to escape.
However, there is no such thing here. Theia was able to catch up with the stand-chant guy and the wolf after exiting the cave. Its massive jaws are wide open, snapping the guy. Taking him by surprise because he expected Egul to be there.
The guy tries to resist but his wound is too deep, the teeth have drawn blood and his body snaps in half, unable to hold the pressure.
Theia hops down from the wolf and looks at the man that the wolf killed. Her mouth curled up a bit when she saw the man, this was the power he sought...
That moment lasted only a second before she had to pay the price. However, this time, the price was much more reasonable. She simply felt tired and fell asleep. Finally, the nightmare that had been haunting her has passed, now she just needs to get some good sleep before she uses her power.
The potion she drank appears sketchy, but it works wonders. It transforms her unstable star into a circle, her power remains the same, but the cost is lower, and she no longer requires human blood to accelerate her growth.
They did not lie when they said that the circle was far better than a star.
"Miss Theia!"

Hilda arrives shortly after Theia falls to the ground. Because of the danger, the maid immediately averts her gaze. However, now that she thinks about it, the side effect has already subsided. Theia has already tested her power when they’re traveling.
She quickly approaches Theia to get her to a safe place.

On the other side of the forest, Egul discovered the last person who had fled. When he sees Theia wolf, he knows it has the power to pursue the other guy, so he chooses the other guy to follow.
The one that ran first. Judging by how uninvolved he is, the guy is likely a priest of the Sun church.
Egul vaguely knows that the bloodhound party has to consist of at least one divination priest. So he ought to go easy on the guy.
After reaching the priest with incredible speed, he performs a kick.
His kick is much gentler than when he went for the kill with the black sword guy. But it was hard enough to send the priest sliding across the floor. Fortunately, the snow is there to help him glide across the floor with little damage to his body.
After all, Egul still needs some information from the priest.
Egul close in and grab the neck of the priest using his foot.
"Stop resisting, or you’ll have a painful death"
The eyes of the priest capture a moment of hopelessness. The toenails dig into the neck, suffocating the priest a little.
