Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 202: Journy to the north
It has been a long time since Hilda escaped from the priests. They set up camp in the mountains, and being awake all night depletes her energy. With her training, she could have gone longer without sleep, but it’s better to stay in shape than to force it.
Furthermore, they are fairly certain that the group of priests no longer follows them. So, during the day, Egul, Hilda, and Leon keep an eye on each other while sleeping. Theia awoke after Egul finished his shift and was about to wake Hilda up.
"Hello miss, got a good nap?"

"!?"
Theia sprang up, her eyes immediately on edge since she didn’t know who this was.
"Who the hell are you?"
"I’m Egul, one of the leaders of the Frostfang tribe. Currently, you’re my hostage"
"You babarains....." Theia grits her teeth, she doesn’t know how she ends up in this position but she needs to try her best. But as she was about to summon her wolf...
"HAHAHAAH, I’m just joking little miss. You’re actually under my protection."
The big man walked past Theia and sat down on their makeshift shelf, made hastily with sticks and some leaves. Theia looks at the man closely and sees that he doesn’t have an ounce of intention to fight.
"Hilda! it’s your turn and your little miss already wakes up."
Hilda woke up from her slumber and adjusted herself, finally when she saw that Theia had woken up, she could not help but reveal a rare smile.
"You are finally up Miss Theia."
"What’s going on?"
Hilda catch Theia up on what happened after she went to sleep. From the moment that she escapes to the moment that Egul shows up and finally, the deal that she took.
"...and that’s about it, we will be living with the Forstfang for a bit. I hope you don’t mind"
"Not at all" Theia held her head "This is a better outcome than I’d hope for. However... Reeva wasn’t here is a bit out of my expectation."
"It’s bad timing on both sides, it is what it is."
"I’m sorry, If I was a bit sooner then we all could have got out...." Theia said, lamenting about Reeva.
"You shouldn’t be, it’s not your faith that this happened. Besides, Do you believe master couldn’t survive? He always got a way out of this situation."
"...I guess you’re right"
Finally, Theia’s mind was able to rest a bit. Hearing HIlda’s reassuring words really made her feel better than before.
"Also, here’s that thing that I’m talking about"
Hilda reaches back into the shelter and produces a black box. Theia looks at it with interest, this thing is suppose to be the potion that Both Reeva and the prince group believe could help her.
opening the black box Hilda grab the thing inside. It was a blue liquid that looked like a start. The particles swirl inside of it making it like it is alive.
"Wow"
Admiration escapes from Theia’s mouth the moment she sees it. It lives up to the expectation of an ancient potion that could change someone’s star in a circle.
"Could I really drink this?"
Not only because it’s pretty, but also because this felt like she was leaching off Hlda’s good goodwill. It’s not her who has to help the first Fang tribes but Hilda. So she felt a little bit guilty for taking this.
Seeing Theia’s face, Hilda opens her mouth and blows the cold wind on the girl’s face.
"Oww that’s cold!"
Hilda smiled at Theia’s reaction.
"Don’t fuss about it, they require my help and I’m happy to give it to them if you could become normal again. You often have this painful face every time you use your power, So I’d like to help. If you feel like you owe me then, when we arrive, help me do the work, deal?"
"Hehe...Deal" Theia couldn’t help but giggle
"What are you laughing about?"
"I’m not telling you"
They go on to talk about some stuff to pass the time until Hilda’s shift comes to an end. It’s the last shift before they get moving again. After they all woke up, feeling better than ever, they began walking.
They were unable to visit any village or city due to their notorious notoriety as a northern tribe warlord. So the entire route will be via the forest and mountains. They will have to survive on the beef jerky that Egul brought with him. Or, if they’re lucky, a recently hunted animal with minimum seasoning.
They get to eat their first meal at noon, and this time they are fortunate to come upon a deer who has not fled the cold. Egul kills the monster in one smooth knife stroke and leaves the meat in good condition.
That deer could sustain them for about 1-2 days... If they were a normal person. Egul eats 90 percent of the meat in just one meal, saying that he doesn’t want to carry the thing. But it’s plain as day that he just wants to eat the whole thing because he’s hungry.
That muscle that he has doesn’t just run on pure mystic energy, they still need body energy to produce results.
Soon the sun finally set and the night is upon them. Their plan is to continue walking until about midnight then they’ll take a rest.
The area that they’re in right now is named Duranburg. It’s a countryside and a territory between Tumidus and Lmemore. To the north, it’s Guragua, the border that split the empire and the northern tribes.
The only thing they need to do is cross over to Guragua, The condition there is not looking "so hot" as Egul describes it.
If you could get beyond that boundary, they’d be out of hot water. But getting there will take time. If Egul traveled by himself, it would take him nearly a week to reach his own tribes. But with Theia, Hilda, and Leon, Egul must limit his speed.
Doubling the travel time to 2 weeks by foot.
It’s such a long journey that Hilda hoped would go smoothly.
