Chapter 241: You Have Offended Someone!
Vincent was still angry with himself for allowing Abigail to go to the restroom alone. He waited calmly in the VIP room, but his concern grew after nearly ten minutes without her return.
Even with Andy’s assurance that this restaurant was safe, Vincent chose to check on Abigail.
His fears were confirmed when he witnessed Serena Philips confront his young madam. It shook him even more to see a man poised to slap her. It felt as if his heart might stop—he would be in serious trouble if that man laid a finger on Abigail.
"Ma’am, please leave this place," Vincent urged. He was itching to punch the man; how dare he try to harm his lady boss?
"It’s okay, Vincent. I’ll clear up this misunderstanding with her first." Abigail smiled to reassure Vincent before she turned to see Serena, who looked shocked and stared at Vincent.
On the other hand, Tommy’s expression darkened when he realized that Vincent had completely ignored him. Annoyed, he raised his hand and placed it on Vincent’s shoulder.
"Hey, pale man, who the hell— AARGH! Damn it! Why did you—ARGHH!" Tommy screamed in horror as Vincent twisted his hand with great force.
"Crack!"
The sound of bones snapping echoes, making Tommy’s screams louder and attracting the attention of several restaurant guests staring at them.
With a blank expression, Vincent continued to crush Tommy’s wrist, which hung limply as his knee hit the floor. Their eyes locked as Vincent’s gaze met the man’s tear-filled eyes.
Vincent leaned closer to Tommy and said coldly, "You don’t deserve to know who I am! But one thing is certain: you will be punished for even thinking of hurting my boss." His gaze was sharp enough to send goosebumps across Tommy’s entire body. novelbuddy.cσ๓
While Vincent continues to pressure Tommy, who now looks as pale as a ghost, Serena is worried sick. She tries to approach her manager, but she freezes in fear when she sees the fierce expression on the shoulder-length-haired man’s face.
Serena narrowed her eyes at Abigail, feeling scared and angry simultaneously.
"Abigail Snow! What the hell? Please stop your men from hurting my manager!" she shrieked, trying to be brave. "You, you bitch! Why are you just standing there silently? Did you forget I could sue you for using violence against my manager?"
Abigail ignored Serena’s threat. She smiled faintly and sneered, "Serena, earlier, when I tried to explain my relationship with Sawyer, you interrupted me, right?"
She paused for a chuckle and noticed Serena’s beautiful eyebrow arching slightly confusedly at her words. "Well, let me continue. Sawyer Jones is not my fiancé; he is my legal husband..."
As if struck by lightning, Serena felt her body shake. "W-What...!! Y-You married Sa-Sawyer...?" she asked in disbelief.
However, Abigail didn’t bother to answer Serena; she was done with her.
A disgusted smile appeared on Abigail’s lips as she turned her gaze to Vincent. "Let’s go. There’s no need to dirty your hands on this foolish man."
Vincent’s half-smile framed his calm face as he stood before her. "Yes, ma’am. I’ll have someone clean this place."
Abigail walked toward the VIP room while allowing Vincent to make a call. However, before she could get far, she spotted Andy Bennet exiting the VIP room, looking shocked as he turned his gaze toward her.
"What happened? Why did you take so long, Abigail—" Andy froze, his blood running cold, when he noticed Serena Philips in the distance.
"Andy, nothing happened," she insisted, unwilling to disclose what had happened earlier.
Andy returned his attention to Abigail; concern flashed in his eyes. "Did she hurt you?" He couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. Just from a glance, he could tell that she was not okay.
"No... Why do you think that?" Abigail replied with a half-smile, but Andy could see the sadness in her eyes. "Let’s go inside, Andy. No need to—" Her voice trailed off when she noticed Andy’s dark expression; he was clearly angry. She gulped. "Andy..."
"Abigail. Ladies first," Andy said gently, his eyes beaming. He smiled at her, led her to the VIP room, and opened the door for her. After making sure she was inside, he approached Vincent.
With just a few sentences from Vincent, Andy Bennet understood what had happened. His hands clenched as he approached Serena Philips, who was assisting her manager in getting up from the floor.
"Mr. Andy," Serena smiled as she greeted him politely. Still, her smile gradually faded when she noticed the disgust and anger shining in Andy’s eyes.
Andy stood only a few steps from her. "Serena Philips, I am very disappointed with you." His voice sounded cold enough to shock Serena and her manager, revealing how furious he was.
His eyes narrowed at Serena. "From now on, you will no longer be accepted in any of Silverstone Group’s business lines, and all our partners and groups currently working with you will terminate their contracts."
"Mr. Bennet, why are you punishing my artist? Serena didn’t do anything wrong to you..." Tommy asked, too shocked to process Andy’s words. How could he try to terminate Serena’s contract? He even banned her from entering their restaurant and all their business locations.
Not only does Tommy feel confused and shocked, but Serena does as well. She tried to ask a few times, but her lips felt so stiff that she couldn’t find the words. She knows Andy must be angry because she offended Abigail. What confuses her is why Andy acts this way. He is not Abigail’s boyfriend.
"Sir, please don’t do this to Serena Philips. She is not someone you can not offend. She has millions of follo—" Tommy’s sentence stopped as Serena’s hand covered his mouth, trying to stop him from speaking further.
"Stop talking, Tommy!" Serena snapped as she turned back to Andy Bennet. She didn’t want Andy to be even angrier with her. "Mr. Andy, would you mind telling me why you did this to me, please?"
Andy pinched his temple as he said, "No. Not at all. Because... you’ve offended someone you’d never want to offend! Please leave this place immediately, or you will suffer the consequences!" He left before Serena could say something.
