The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband-Chapter 349: Ruin me
Chapter 349: Ruin me
"Cedric.." her voice was steady, she tried to control her fear. He stood in front of her, his blank gaze watching the window.
Raindrops hit the panels, rolling down slowly with the sky rumbling. He knew she was at the door before she knocked. He wasn’t ready to face her
He was running the entire conversation through his head. It was dumb; his paranoia was affecting him, knowing that defending herself was not a big deal. It will help him sleep better knowing she was less vulnerable but yet all his mind went to was the madness he felt when she left.
He could only think of it as a move for her to leave him because who wants to stay with a crazy psychopath? He was dangerous not just to her but himself. What if he loses control of her and hurts her?
Maybe Sabrina was right. She was best away, but the thought of that felt like he was stabbing himself right in the heart. When did he get this hopeless?
"What will I do to make you stay on your accord?" His voice was steady and calm, just like his surface, far from what he felt inside. He listened closely to her heartbeat. It paused for a second, he sensed hesitation from them.
No answer.
"You should get your injuries treated first. It’s bleeding quite much " she answered, her voice sounded like she cared but he doubts
Cedric opened his palms, his claws retracting while the wound kept on bleeding profusely. "It won’t kill me, I barely feel anything from this wound." He replied.
"I will be fine. You should leave I still have some things to sort out concerning the victims to send the ones that have a home back home." He added, sharp footsteps briskly approached him as her low heels clicked against the floor.
Sparks erupted, her soft hand grabbing one of his injured hands. "Why isn’t it healing? I thought you had fast regeneration." Her brows creased, a worried gaze in her eyes as she inspected the images.
She looked really concerned, it made him feel less worthless and dumb. He was a master strategist, a man kings were scared of his intelligence and yet he acted like a fool because of one small woman he could kill with just a snap of his fingers.
He swallowed, something about her concern as she inspected both palms and turned him on. That was just how messed up he was. "Wounds inflicted by my claws take longer to heal because of the venom." He answered, her head bobbed up to stare at him.
He had a black mask on making it hard to know what was going through his head.
"You also have claws," she could barely say. Cedric nodded then relaxed his hand in her grasp, which was close to her chest.
A single claw shot out, grazing her neck. She swallowed nervously, and he smirked at her. "Thinking of a better escape plan because you just realized how terrifying the man you married is." He taunted but she shook her head
"I was just startled because it was so close it Almost wounded me." She explained that she wanted to touch the claws, but he quickly retracted them.
"Don’t touch them, they are very venomous." He explained, trying to pull his hands from her grip but her hold on his wrist tightened.
"But why would you want to injure yourselves?" She asked him, her sharp gaze forcing him to speak.
Cedric sighed, the cloud rumbled, and lightning flashed, highlighting his image in the dark room. "Because I am foolish at times. I thought that letting the venom burn through my veins would numb the pain in my heart, but my own venom can’t really hurt me. The pain in my heart from watching you see me as a monster you want to flee from can’t be healed easily."
Her eyes went blank and she bowed her head. "You are psycho, strong, smart, handsome, annoying, a jerk and a piece of work I can’t kill but not a monster. You are just different Cedric. Everyone has a dark side just because yours is darker doesn’t necessarily make you a monster." She explained to him.
Her words were kind. He almost believed, but he, of all people, knows that he is deep down. "It’s nice to hear those kind words from you. You rarely act kind to me now but you haven’t answered the question. What will I do to make you stay by my side? Even if you don’t leave me, if I see you and have you close, I will be satisfied with that. Call it obsession or whatever, but the look that everyone always has, I don’t want you to have that same look."
Her head was still bowed she understood what he meant. A shaky breath left her lips. "The reason I am scared and so desperately tried to run is because, yes, I was afraid of what they say. A heartless bloodthirsty demon. I am sorry but..."
"It’s fine. I understand, Abrielle. I wish I could change but I can’t. It’s just who I am. " He pulled one of his hands from her hold, and his bleeding hand grabbed her neck. Her heartbeat spiked up at first.
He smirked, sensing her fear; she drew in a deep breath to control her reaction. Her eyes stubbornly stared back at him.."I know you won’t snap my neck." She bravely said.
Cedric’s grip tightened but was free enough to leave her breath. "At times, I hate it when I realise how much you affect me that the thought of snapping your neck seems pleasurable. I have this strong urge to ruin you because I know you have every power to ruin me Abrielle. Just the thought of how you drive me crazy keeps my blood pumping and my member hard."
Cedric admitted, her eyes going wide; he left her neck, his bloody hand trailing to her head. He pulled her closer and then kissed her lips shortly; strangely, she felt his hardness. He was truly stimulated by her fear. He was more broken than she thought.
As terrified as she was, she was also exc
ited, her inside going fuzzy and clenching.
