Chapter 344: Go with the flow

The air was filled with pheromones, the sounds of skin slapping. Abrielle was forced to increase her pace as she rode his length. Their curves merged together as she got close to real bliss.

She wanted to make it slow and wicked, but who was she kidding? Cedric guided but she quickly retook the lead. She held onto him like an anchor, his length reaching spots she didn’t think were possible.

Their moans mixed together, her eyes rolling in her head. They weren’t a perfect fit as the edges and curves merge but the little bit of pain made it better.

She shuddered, her release about to come, perfectly timing his member thickened, and they both came at the same time. Her juices covered his length, his excess seeds spewing out of her.

She collapsed on him exhausted, her body covered with sweat. "That was wonderful." He whispered sweetly in her ears as his arm wrapped around her.

Her face was crooked in his neck and she enjoyed his rich scent. It didn’t matter they were both sticky on the rough ground. They both basked in the afterglow of the moment.

Her throat was too hoarse from all the moans and screaming. All she did was enjoy the fleeting feeling of being in his arms. She knew it might not last forever but from now she would go according to the flow.

Cedric sensed her breath and heartbeat getting stable a few minutes later in his arms. A soft smile on his lips one unimaginable to others to see on him. She pushed herself to the brink, forgetting she was still recovering. Her body collapsed immediately.

While she was unconscious, the physician confirmed she was majorly stressed from pushing herself to the brink of exceeding her limit during her escape. Abrielle was barely trained in combat, it was more than impressive she held up until he arrived

Only if he could have found her again. A slow anger stepped into his chest over a dead man. "Jake," he muttered. He planned on using the customer associated with the death’s bite in his battle for the throne but he had a change of mind.

Even the ones that agreed to cooperate in a vile attempt to survive. Death was their only fate. He felt a storm coming soon and he wasn’t fully prepared yet.

A soft sneeze echoed in a quiet room, stirring Abrielle from sleep. Her eyes fluttered open to see the empty space beside her.

Her brows furrowed, confused. She didn’t remember coming back to the room. The curtains were flapping softly, it was raining lightly outside. ’ Who left the window open?’ her frown deepened.

The cold breeze blew across causing her to shiver as she curled up into a ball. She needed to close that window, but her body felt crushed and she didn’t want to leave the bed.

She had a strong urge just to sink in the mattress all day. Her eyes sparkled looking at her cold bedside. It was cold but someone slept here earlier. He was already up much earlier.

A plus to make her happier the chain was gone. ’ he must be on the training grounds.’ she thought.

There was a bell by her bedside on the table. Abrielle reached out for it and rang it, certain the maids were waiting outside.

As expected, after the bell rang, the door was slowly pushed open, and a group of maids led by Evelyn stepped in. "Good morning, Your Highness. Hope you slept well." They greeted her in unison and got to work immediately.

Abrielle was wearing a light night dress under the covers, someone must have changed her while she was asleep. Memories of last night surfaced in her mind and her cheeks grew red.

How was she able to act so bold? It was his fault for driving her crazy. Evelyn and the other maids smiled seeing her reaction. They pretend not to see her reaction or notice the multiple hickeys on her skin.

Last night Cedric attended the princess personally when they returned from their night stroll.

"The bath is ready. Do you need help moving?" Evelyn asked Abrielle with a straight face which made the princess more embarrassed. "I can handle myself. By the way, where is Cedric?" She asked with much familiarity addressing him by his first name.

Evelyn remembered a time she only called him Your Highness.

"He left to attend the morning rounds. He said you can go ahead and have breakfast without him." Evelyn answered. The open window was already closed.

"So he is out training," Abrielle said.

"Yes, Your Highness. If you don’t mind, You should have your bath before the water cools." She added still acting prim and proper. Abrielle’s lips turned into a thin line, remembering that Evelyn was basically her baby sitter.

After what happened last time, she doubted Cedric was going to give her any personal space. He made his most skilled assassin her personal handmaid.

"I will be having breakfast with him then." She answered.

It didn’t take long for her to get ready for the day. At this point, Abrielle had grown thick-skinned to the maids seeing her after Cedric had ruined her flawless skin in the excuse of lovemaking. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm

While in the tub, she could read their mind from their eyes, but they dared not say a thing. The warm water was soothing, and the scented herbs and oils were very therapeutic. She didn’t want to leave the tub until the water grew cold.

A loose lemon dress was chosen for her one that didn’t require a corset since she was still recovering, with her ginger hair let loose below her waist.

Talking about recovering, she has taken some potions that made her miss modern medicine because those things were horrible. She wanted to refuse to take it, but Evelyn’s stern look didn’t let her.

"You are permitted to explore the castle with my company," Evelyn added after Abrielle was done with her medication. The princess’s grim face was comical.

"Have you informed Cedric about breakfast?" Abrielle asked, the taste of the potion still lingering in her mouth.

"A maid has been sent. Is there anywhere you love to see before the meal is ready? It must be stuffy here." Evelyn suggested the other maids were clearing off the potions she just had.

A smirk graced Abrielle’s lips. "I would love to see the training grounds."
