Chapter 602: Who got taken away?

"Where is Mr. Marino?" Elliana asked the first thing she reached inside the Black Skull palace.

"Sir has gone for a meeting, madam," The maid immediately stepped ahead and bowed to their princess.

Elliana looked around, feeling particularly anxious.

Something wasn’t right.

Why was her heart beating like this? Her intuition was telling her something was wrong. Elliana pressed her lips into a thin line before she closed her eyes to locate Sebastian.

However, there was no trace of him anywhere.

Was it because his barrier was up? She didn’t have much idea about the kind of connection between the marked couples, and thus, she didn’t know if it was alarming or not.

"Do you know where he has gone? I want to meet him urgently," Elliana asked, looking around helplessly before she pulled out her phone and called Sebastian.

She called a few times but the call didn’t go through. She tried calling Lucas and Ambrose, but no response from them either.

She tried calling around ten times, but no one picked up. Her intuition about something being wrong grew even more making her feel edgy.

"Is there no one who can tell me where they have gone?" Elliana asked, but when she was met with silence, she couldn’t help but take one of the car’s keys and rush towards the garage.

Since she wasn’t able to locate her husband, it was only right that she drove around to find out about his whereabouts. In the meantime, she also called Vincenzo and Stephano to ask them if they knew anything about what was going on.

However, when she learned that no important meeting was scheduled for the day, her heart skipped a beat. freeωebnovēl.c૦m

Sensing the urgency and worry in her voice, Vincenzo immediately asked his people to start looking for Sebastian. Stephano also followed suit.

Elliana called Nathaniel to ask him for the favor to help her look for her man.

Nathaniel didn’t know what was going on. Elliana was usually calm and collected despite the situation, thus, seeing her losing her control over her emotions like this, which was only aiding Azrael indirectly, was really concerning.

He wanted to tell her to calm down and that they would find the man sooner, but could he really when he looked into her anxious eyes that was only looking for her man?

Was it because she could feel something was wrong?

Elliana didn’t wait to chat with anyone and just started her car, driving the car recklessly as she tried to think over anything that Mr. Marino might’ve mentioned. Anything could be useful.

Wait. She indeed remembered that Mr. Marino was talking about looking over some reports when her father came to talk to her. Could it be that he went out for the same matter? That could be the case. Didn’t she see Grayson in the kingdom earlier?

In that case, should she drive towards the human kingdom?

Elliana didn’t wait to think more and just took a sharp U-turn. Her eyes turned dark at the possibility of the humans trying to hurt her man, the change in her emotions immediately affecting the environment around her as dark clouds started to appear in the kingdom.

Former King Abramo, who wasn’t informed about what was going on and was sipping his tea while sitting on his balcony, gazed at the dark clouds, his brows furrowing.

This was unexpected. What could’ve brought this kind of change?

"The last time I talked to Sebastian, he mentioned something about the same clouds appearing whenever Princess Elliana is dissatisfied with something or angry," his wife Aubrey commented casually.

Abramo looked at his wife with a soft smile.

"You think too much. If something had been wrong, Sebastian would’ve informed the elders. Our relationship is finally improving, thanks to the Princess. Also, do you really think Sebastian would let Princess Elliana stay angry for long? If it’s related to her, it will get better soon," Abramo said with a smile before he stood from his place.

He took a few steps towards the railings, a concerned expression appearing on his face when he saw it was starting to rain.

Was this really related to Princess Elliana? Or were they just thinking too much about things?

He pulled out his phone and made a call to Sebastian to ask him if everything was alright in the Black Skull palace. However, when the call didn’t go through, he called the landline of the palace itself to ask the workers what was going on.

It was futile.

No one really knew what was going on. The only thing he could gather was that the Princess’s father made his appearance known in the palace and the princess left shortly. When she returned, she asked for King Sebastian and left immediately after she found out he wasn’t at the palace.

"Sweetheart, I will talk to Stephano over some matters. Don’t wait for me and have dinner, okay?" Abramo kissed Aubrey’s forehead before leaving the room, his expression immediately turning grim.

Meanwhile, Elliana who was about to turn around the corner, turned her steering wheel with a screech when she saw a blur thing appear right in front of the car, which she almost hit.

Her car hit the side of the electric pole and she quickly used her teleportation to get out of the car, barely saving herself in time as the car caught fire and blasted.

Elliana’s eyes widened at the near-death experience she had as her heart pace increased, almost making her collapse as the realization dawned upon her.

What if she really had died before seeing Mr. Marino? Her heart trembled at the thought.

Nathaniel, who was following Elliana shortly because he was afraid of her doing something wrong and causing problems for herself, immediately rushed down and looked at the girl who was soaking wet in the rain.

"Elliana, are you okay?" Nathaniel cupped her cheeks.

She was shocked. There was no doubt about it.

"Elliana, I will look for Sebastian for you. Please go back. You are in no condition to look for him. Listen to me," Nathaniel said, hoping she would listen to him, but Elliana just kept looking at the burning car with a solemn expression as she remembered what Mr. Marino said about living and dying together.

"No. I must look for him. My heart won’t be at ease until I find him. Something is wrong.

Why can’t we locate him? I can understand that any other witch’s powers don’t work on him, but what about mine? Why can’t I locate him? And why does my heart feel like something is pricking it?" Elliana shook her head before she looked around.

Right. She didn’t get into this accident out of nowhere. There was something that passed from right in front of the car.

What was that? Elliana’s eyes turned dark and she looked at Nathaniel before raising her hand in the air.

"Step aside, Nathaniel. I need to see who dares to interrupt me while I was looking for my husband," Elliana said, her voice getting a shade darker and Nathaniel gulped.

These were the times when it almost felt like it was hard to recognize Elliana. She almost becomes a completely different person whenever it comes to Sebastian. Like she isn’t herself at all.

Her love for Sebastian wasn’t just love. It was more of an obsession and possession that crossed all the limits of rationality.

Elliana closed her eyes and tried to replay the events of what happened in her mind before she created a white Magna circle from her hands, the insides of the circle, glowing like it was being illuminated by the hidden sun behind the clouds.

"Appear," Elliana said, and as soon as she did that, the white thing that had appeared in front of Elliana when she was driving and caused the accident, appeared right in front of her.

Elliana’s pupils dilated when she noticed it was a wolf, a wolf she didn’t recognize.

And strangely it wasn’t a rogue wolf either.

Elliana looked at Nathaniel, who had the same bewildered expression on his face.

Elliana stepped forward.

"Who are you? And what are you doing here?" Elliana asked as she noticed another quality of this wolf.

This wolf didn’t have a werewolf scent. And it definitely wasn’t a normal wolf. It only meant they were using de-scenting sprays of some quality to hide their scents.

First, it was Grayson, and now it was this wolf.

"I... I don’t know you. I was running away from my pack members who were after me. Please spare my life," The wolf that quickly changed into its human form begged.

Elliana gazed at the man before clicking her fingers to dress him up first.

"Why are you running away from your pack members? This place is not the moon city or your werewolf Kingdom. Are you sure you are not making any mistakes? Try to fool me, and I will end your life with a click of my fingers," Elliana said.

However, no one could’ve prepared her for what the wolf said next.

"That’s because I saw them planning the attack on a few vampires earlier. The King of the vampire kingdom is involved. They crashed their car just like this and now they have imprisoned all three of them," The wolf said and Elliana’s pupils dilated.

What did he say?
