Chapter 59: Chapter 59- The Prankster Yoon-Jae

Young-Hwa felt it was a pity, but he wasn’t upset for too long as he turned his attention to the green glow around Sol’s body.

However, he soon asked aloud skeptically.

"Eldest brother, where did you find this disciple?"

"Why ask? Can’t you tell he’s from my Barbarian Race by his strong physique?"

"You say that, but how did he awaken a Wood-type Element Innate Dharma? The children from the Barbarian Race that decide to cultivate like us in Jianghu have always awakened Metal or Earth-type Innate Dharmas."

Young-Hwa looked towards his elder brother as he said that.

In response, Cheonma dismissively waved his hand and said.

"He’s just a rare case, nothing more."

Unconvinced, Young-Hwa gained a serious look on his face as he reminded.

"Elder brother, our bet speculates that our disciples should come from our place of origin. If this disciple is an Arkadian then surely brother has forfeited the bet."

"Bah! We didn’t make that an absolute requirement. Plus, he’s is not an Arkadian, I found him on the Outskirts of the Eternal Desert near to the Demonic Forest."

Young-Hwa frowned before he turned to Sol who at this point had most of his injuries healed and was getting up.

"Child, reveal the creature inside your robes."

Sol hesitated but eventually had Little Zeel leap out.

Seeing Little Zeel, Young-Hwa almost jumped out of his seat.

"Eldest brother, Eldest brother, where did your disciple get this creature?"

Young-Hwa tried to remain calm but from his repeated use of ’Eldest brother’ and demeanor, it could be seen that he was too agitated by Little Zeel’s appearance.

"I have studied numerous Spirit Beasts with an affinity for Fire, Wood, and Water, but I’ve never seen a creature that has such a strong affinity for the Wood Element!"

"It’s just a creature I found in the Demonic Forest and gave it to him."

"Ah, Eldest brother, are you sure you didn’t find this disciple in the Demonic Forest as well?"

Young-Hwa’s eyes glowed with a mysterious light as he said that.

Quickly changing the subject, Cheonma angrily yelled.

"That’s enough about my disciple! Where’s yours?!"

Young-Hwa laughed at that before he turned his head to the side and barked.

"Yoon-Jae! Why aren’t you out here to greet your Uncle Master?!"

As Young-Hwa’s voice boomed out in the pavilion, Sol meanwhile sat there on the ground holding Little Zeel.

Currently, he didn’t know how to feel about this situation.

He felt like his Master was treating him like a piece of treasure he said he unearth in a desert but had actually done so in a forest.

He was also showing off this piece of treasure to this vicious person he called his brother but didn’t really look like his brother; with the two of them about to compete to see who had unearthed a more talented treasure.

Sol felt used, but he could only bare with it.

Although, he was, however, staring curiously at the second floor of the pavilion to see who Yoon-Jae was.

Soon, a figure slowly emerged and stopped at the edge of the stairs.

Sol’s heart slightly moved when he saw this person.

It was a girl that looked slightly older than him, and she was rather beautiful.

Sol’s eyes couldn’t help but follow her as she frowned at Young-Hwa before making her way down the stairs.

While Sol was staring at the beautiful girl curiously, his Master was silently examining the girl with doubt.

After Yoon-Jae came and stood beside Young-Hwa silently, Young-Hwa frowned and barked.

"Are you a mute?! Didn’t I say you should greet your Uncle Master?!"

Sol was taken aback by Young-Hwa’s behavior.

He knew he was just as vicious as his Master, but surely he wasn’t so heartless towards his disciple who look so innocent?

Long flowing black hair, skin as smooth as jade along with a face that could make any woman or man take a second glance.

Sol had never seen someone this beautiful, but if he were to guess, this was what his mother would look like from how his father would describe her.

However, as Sol was thinking this, instead of greeting Cheonma, Yoon-Jae turned to Sol and sneered.

"This fucker, who are you looking at? I’m a boy you know?"

Sol upon hearing that felt himself emotionally recoil, and his head began buzzing.

If he had water in his mouth he would have spat it out in this instance.

Meanwhile, Cheaonma’s eyes narrowed.

"This damn brat! Who are you cursing at?! I said greet-"

Young-Hwa immediately tried to reprimand Yoon-Jae, but she...ah, I mean, he act like he hadn’t heard a thing as he pointed at Sol and asked.

"Master, who’s this boy?"

Young-Hwa gripped his chair and he forced down his anger at being interrupted before he explained.

"That is your Uncle Master’s disciple, one of your two eternal rivals. He-"

"Is that so?"

Yoon-Jae interrupted Young-Hwa once more before he turned looked at Sol.

"Well, it looks like he’s a weird pervert just like his Master. I bet he was thinking I was a girl."

"Wah! No! I’m nothing like this perverted old man!"

"This brat..."

Cheonma glared at Sol.

Sol ignored the peircing gaze on the back of his head and explained with an embarrassed expression.

"It’s just that I’ve never seen someone so good-looking that wasn’t a girl. Is that how you actually look?"

In truth, now that Sol looked closer, Yoon-Jae did look like a boy, and he was even wearing men’s robes! He had completely missed that fact.

But Sol guess a few people would have thought he was a girl if he didn’t speak and stood from afar.

Yoon-Jae in response to Sol’s words couldn’t help but pause.

He then looked at his childlike and curious expression before becoming confused.

"Of course this is my original appearance. But your reaction is weird, it’s not how someone usually reacts when they find out I’m a boy."

"Ah, is that so, how would someone normally react?"

"With disappointment at first... but then disgusted or acceptance."

Sol hearing that shook his head.

"I wouldn’t react with disgust, I’m sure you’re a good person if Uncle Master chose you as a disciple."

"Haha..."

Yoon-Jae suddenly chuckled.

"You don’t even know me, how would you know I’m a good person?"

"Then couldn’t I say the same? Why would I react with disgust when I know nothing about you?"

Sol’s words caused Yoon-Jae to pause once more.

This was the second time he paused because of what Sol had said.

One too many times if someone had asked.

"You’re weird."

That was the only thing Yoon-Jae could say.

"I like you, let’s be friends."

Sol smiled at first, but then immediately blushed.

Yoon-Jae seeing this immediately asked with a straight face.

"Huh? Why are you blushing?"

"I... uh... don’t say something like that with a face like yours. It’s confusing." ƒreewebηoveℓ.com

Yoon-Jae suddenly smile, and unable to keep a straight face anymore he cackled at Sol’s reaction.

Sol frowned, having felt that he had done that on purpose. In fact, Yoon-Jae did it so effortlessly that Sol suspect this was something he often does.

"Ehem!"

Cheonma suddenly cleared his throat loudly.

"Sorry to interrupt your blossoming friendship, but no friendships will be formed here!"

"That’s right."

Young-Hwa agreed with his brother’s words before saying to Yoon-Jae sternly.

"That brat is your sworn enemy and eternal rival. If you don’t beat him at everything then forget ever calling me Master!"

"Huh? Wait, so all I have to do is lose once and I’ll be able to get rid of you?"

Yoon-Jae blinked and stared at Young-Hwa with joy and elation.

"YOU-!"

Young-Hwa was so angry he didn’t bother finishing his sentence. He instead flipped over his palm and took out a red whip that was emanating a fiery aura.

Sol then watched in horror as Young-Hwa flicked his wrist and sent the red whip flying towards Yoon-Jae.
