The bear twins looked at each other. "That's impossible. They shouldn't be able to deal with the new beasts. We've evolved."

"They evolved too," the psychic beast replied. "The world upgrade affected everyone. Their cultivators are advancing faster.

Their weapons are stronger. And most importantly, they seem to be prepared for this, which is a most shocking discovery."

This announcement sent a chill down the spine of the audience.

A wolf stepped forward. "But what could they know about the beast tides and us?"

The psychic beast tilted its head. "I don't know. But we must change our plan accordingly. If we cannot conquer the humans using their previous weaknesses, we must find a new strategy."

The feathered leader finally opened his eyes and spoke. "What are their losses?"

The psychic beast floated slowly around the room as it spoke. "They've taken damage, yes. But they're adapting quickly. Their empires and sects are working together.

Their armies are organized and seem to have adapted to the new change and are slowly learning the ways to fight the horde with the lowest possible casualty rate."

"What's their current status then?"

"I have gathered the reports here," the psychic beast responded, raising a tendril. A transparent document appeared within it. The leaders immediately took the document and looked over the numbers.

One by one, their expressions became grave.

"Are these correct?" the lion asked.

"Yes," the psychic beast answered.

"So this is their response," the tiger whispered. "I never would have imagined that the humans would be able to resist the beasts."

"How long until they fall?" the wolf asked.

The psychic beast's aura suddenly changed. Everyone froze, and even the lion felt the pressure. "Never underestimate the human will to survive."

The hall went silent for a few minutes.

Then the lion asked for a renewed sense of confidence as he said. "Then we send stronger beasts. Incarnation level. Voidbreak. Let's see if they can handle that."

The psychic beast shook its head. "We could. But if we go too far, we'll expose our real strength too early. The goal was to test their limits, not reveal our hand. We still need time to prepare for the second phase."

The feathered leader looked at the psychic beast. "So what do you recommend?"

"We continue as planned but adjust our tactics. Instead of rushing the cities, we target resource points. Spirit veins, mines, and cultivation grounds. If we cut off their growth, they'll weaken over time. And while we do that, we prepare our elites."

"That sounds reasonable. It is not something unexpected," the feathered leader said. "The only issue is whether the humans will see this and find ways to stop it."

"If we are careful, the humans will not suspect anything is out of the ordinary. If we are not, their spies will be able to discover something is wrong."

"Spies?" the wolf asked.

"Yes. There are some humans who can spy on us. I can sense them watching."

"Can you see who they are?"

"I'm afraid not. They're not like other creatures, and they seem to be able to mask themselves quite well."

"This is troubling," the tiger muttered. "It seems the humans are more dangerous than we originally thought."

"Perhaps, but that is why we must continue to test them."

"What if they can't handle this?"

"Then we'll know the truth and act accordingly."

"Do you really think they can survive the void break?" the wolf asked.

"There's no way for me to say, but the fact that they're fighting back means they have some chance."

"But do you truly believe that?"

"It is not a matter of believing, it is a matter of testing. Only by trying can we know the answer."

"So, what is your recommendation? Do we send more incarnations now, or wait and prepare a stronger force?"

"My advice would be to do both. Send the weak and expendable ones now while also preparing a stronger force for later."

"That sounds wise," the feathered leader said.

The wolves agreed, as did the tiger. The lions didn't seem so sure, but they ultimately followed along.

The serpent lowered its head. "And if they strike back?"

"We'll be ready," the psychic beast said. "Let them fight. Let them use up their strength. When they're tired and out of resources, then we move."

The feathered leader nodded once. "Very well. You'll handle the coordination."

"Of course," the psychic beast replied. "And I will continue using the turtle's movement to stay hidden. As long as our mobile base isn't detected, we can stay one step ahead."

With that, the psychic beast floated toward the exit.

The leaders watched it leave.

The tiger turned its gaze toward the others.

"Do you think the humans will grow even more powerful?" the wolf asked.

"Possibly. And from the looks of it, it seems that they have special spaces where the top powers have built their homes." The feathered leader said.

"Oh? So what do you want to do? Find out about these spaces or see if we can invade them while we distract them here?" the serpent asked.

"For now, I just want to watch and learn," the feathered man answered.

"You're not worried about the humans becoming more powerful?"

"No. I'm more concerned about what else they might have as they have been developing longer than us." The feathered man said.

"That is a concern," the wolf added.

"Indeed. But if we can take advantage of their weakness, then we should," the lion stated.

"Are you saying we should attack?"

"Not yet. Let's wait and see. If humans grow weaker, then we can attack. If not, we will hold off until the right time."

"Agreed."

"In the meantime, let's gather more of our forces and try to better deploy them so that we can reduce the death rate." The feathered man stated.

"And if we find the enemy, I'll make sure the humans don't notice."

"Then, I guess there's nothing more to say. We shall wait."

With that, the leaders left the room and went their separate ways.

As soon as they were gone, the psychic beast appeared again.
