Chapter 188 - 188: Times Passes By, and The Eye of Harmony

[3rd POV]

Turns out having thousands of individuals moving into your city at the same time, was...nice. Not to mention easy, once she had spread her clones out to aid in the moving. And that was the Xavier school alone, as even the teachers, once finding out that all the students were moving to Malzif, had also moved, with the mansion becoming nothing more than a simple place to meet on Earth, as well as a place that she placed a teleporter in, allowing them to go to and from there should they need to for whatever reason.

With the Xavier students moving into their new school, and rapidly adapting to the new changes (The very welcome ones), Gwen had to deal with the rapid changes that were coming to the city. Like the fact that she had the beginnings of a working economy, people with jobs and a lot of things that would eventually need people manning them.

For now her clones were dealing with most of the brunt work, like the very unenjoyable paperwork, but eventually she would need actual people to do this part, as Malzif could not rely entirely on her. It needed actual workers with actual jobs and an actual economy, which is why she was spreading tens of thousands of clones around the world.

Their sole directive being to recruit and find as many mutants as possible, to find ALL mutants and recruit them.

The remaining facilities that experimented on and used mutants were destroyed, and the inhabitants taken to Malzif in which they would then be protected, taught, and healed with her superior technology made to help with this sort of thing.

From this constant work, her clones had found, saved, recruited, and brought in tens of thousands of mutants around the world. From men, women, children, to the elderly. All were brought to the city of mutants, and given a new home.

By the time the City of Mutants had been the home of Xavier's school for a month, it housed over 100,000 mutants, and 25,000 humans. All of them working, going to school, or something else that contributed to the city. All within a singular month, showing just how horribly the mutants were being treated, that they would gladly move so quickly.

And that was only a month of work.

[10 Months later]

By the time she had the city up and running for a total of 11 months, she had found and gathered nearly every mutant on planet Earth, completed several quests, and finished her teaching quest. She had completed a total of 8 other quests, ranging from small time stuff like working on her city, to big stuff like completing a rather important project of hers.

The Eye of Harmony

[Flashback, 4 months earlier]

Deep in the middle of space, where no other beings lived, in a corner of an abandoned galaxy, Gwen floated in front of a sun. A sun that was in the process of turning into a black hole, a sun that would become the basis for the Eye of Harmony, an immense source of energy that was superior to anything else in this universe, bar perhaps the Power Stone itself.

'It's about to start' Gwen thought, feeling the changes within the star as it began to warp and change, as she made time move faster around it, so that it would go faster.

She watched as it began to slowly collapse in on itself, and began its process of turning into a black hole.

Watching the process, Gwen grinned as she stretched her hand out, and breathed in deeply.

Deep within her, the power of the infinity stones began to react as she began to call upon them, her figure glowing as space and time around her crackled, energy pouring out of her in waves as she spoke.

"Boost, Boost, Boost, Boost, Boost" Gwen muttered, as she felt her power double several times over, as she began to "Pull" on the star, it's form flickering as she began to teleport it into the obelisk created specially to hold and utilize it's incredible power. The obelisk was at the core of the city, and would feed power around the world, powering everything she had to make in the future, and having more than enough power to do so.

As she pulled on the star, she breathed out as she felt the slight drain on her, only for it to instantly regenerate thanks to the power stones she had within her.

She could only grin widely as the star was officially gone, as the Eye of Harmony activated back on Mars, the entire city growing ever so slightly brighter, and most of all, the barrier around the city now housed enough power to block the blasts of supernovae with ease.

'That went much easier than I was expecting'

[Flashback End]

With the Eye of Harmony in her possession, and the completion of a total of 350 quests, she now had over 800 TL tickets in her possession, all of which she had claimed, gaining quite the reward from it.

[SSL Characters]

[Marvel - Proxima Midnight (616), Star (616), Bishop (616), Hela (MCU)]

[PJO - Athena, Artemis, Hephaestus, Hermes]

[Other - Geld (Light Novel), Godzilla Earth, Hinata Sakaguchi (Light Novel), Ivan (Power Rangers), Arcee (IDW), Megatron (D1), Satele Shan, Tarn (IDW)]

The characters themselves weren't too crazy, until Gwen had realized that the PJO characters she had gotten were literal Gods. None of them were the strongest of Gods, but they were Gods. And boy did they have a whole lot of knowledge, and massively boost some of her traits.

Her forging capabilities had somehow been boosted several times over, now that she was technically the Goddess of the area. Her speed had been catapulted many many many times the speed of light, and was now encroaching on the levels of comic speedsters.

Not to mention her connection to various elements, weapons, and animals that had grown quite a bit as well.

During this year of progression, she had also started a new project she had simply dubbed as "Project: Infinite Swarm" in which she was in the process of developing and creating thousands of types of new bugs, ranging from ones that can pierce and kill beings in a singular second, to bugs that can eat magic, and feed it back to her, to all sorts of others.

All of this was because of her power she had gotten from Taylor Herbert, a power that she was beginning to research more and more into, as she realized the uses it had for someone like her. But that project would take time, and a lot of experimentation, so she was letting her clones deal with it for now, as she instead was more focused on something else.

And that was the recruitment of Magneto and his Brotherhood, some of the final mutants on Earth that had yet to move to Malzif, with only the Morlocks and Hellfire Club being the other groups she had to recruit. After that, she would need to deal with one of the most annoying to kill beings in Marvel, and then after that was a man that would be a lot harder to recruit than any other...

Apocalypse

She wanted the man in her city solely because of how stupidly powerful he was. And because she believed that he could genuinely become a citizen of her city, and not cause problems, as long as she could talk to him and get him to understand her.

The Hellfire club would be easy enough to recruit, as Sebastian Shaw was...well, probably not going to be alive much longer. But she was interested in recruiting Emma Frost as a member of the school, as she knew that she wanted to teach.

But at the moment, Gwen was standing in front of Magneto, his group behind him, as they all looked at one another, and then to Gwen, before Magneto breathed in deeply and spoke to her, a serious glint in his eyes as he did so.

"...We'll do it...we'll join your city"

Gwen could only smile in response, as she smirked and replied.

"...Excellent! Well, let's get you to your new home then!"

That's the end of the Chapter!

So the mutant recruitment arc has begun! Meaning some multiverse traveling! She'll be recruiting a lot of people, and not all the worlds will be covered, mostly just the major ones. And this is the arc before the one that will really kick off this volume's big stuff.

Daughter of God should be finally getting updated tonight as well.

Anyways, have a good day!
