Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure-Chapter 1445: Elven greeting (2)
When we arrived at the castle, I had to say that I was a bit taken aback by it.
It wasn't how big the castle was, but rather the decoration that was hung up in the castle that surprised me.
One would think that elves that lived with nature wouldn't care about things like this, but it wasn't the case in this castle.
This castle wasn't something that was brought up in the game and wasn't a map in the game, so I had never actually seen this place before.
Since the elves in the game cared more about freedom and nature than anything else, most of them didn't actually even live in the Elven Kingdom capital. But of course, there were quests that brought the player to the Elven Kingdom capital.
It was just that the castle was the one place that the player never went to.
It seemed that the elves and high elves that were in charge of the Elven Kingdom really allowed themselves to fall under the influence of their greed.
Not long after entering the castle, I was led to a large banquet hall where many different elves had been waiting. With the way that they were dressed and the food that had been prepared for the banquet, it was clear that they didn't have any intentions of holding back their greed.
It was clear that all of them had only one thing in mind.
But why were things like this?
I never thought that the elves would live like this…
Only I didn't get long to actually think about it as someone suddenly came forward to greet me.
This was a person, or rather elf that I actually recognized since I had seen them in the game.
This was the Elven King.
This was a NPC that had appeared in the game before because the quests that involved the elves would naturally lead to the king.
I was just surprised that he was greeting me like this.
"Your majesty, it is an honour to have you here in our Elven Kingdom."
Following behind him was a maid that had a tray with two glasses of wine prepared.
The Elven King took one and had the maid give the other glass to me.
I didn't know what kind of wine this was and there was a part of me that didn't want to take it since there was no telling what was in it, but I really didn't have a choice.
At the same time, the Elven King was already raising his glass as if he was offering a toast to me.
So in the end, I had no choice but to take the glass of wine and take a sip of it in response to his toast.
But at the very least, that seemed to have settled the elves as they all started coming forward.
With the friendly manner that they talked to me, I was once again caught off guard.
There wasn't a single elf that didn't seem interested in becoming friends with me, only I didn't understand why they were acting this way. It was as if the elves never had anything against the humans in the first place with the way that they were acting.
They really seemed different from the elves that I had seen in the game…
But there was one elf in particular that surprised me.
It was someone that I also knew, but it wasn't because of my experience with the game that I knew this person.
It was because this person was related to another elf that I had met previously.
"Your majesty, my name is Donan. I am the head warrior under the Elven King and the captain of the royal guards." This rare gruff looking elf greeted me in a respectful voice, but there was a strange feeling that filled me when I saw him.
It wasn't because he didn't have the same beautiful appearance as the rest of the elves.
Rather it was because he was Apollo's father.
Apollo, that elf that I had taken care of previously. The one that had tried to kill me because he wanted to have Moon to himself.
I had always had the thought in the back of my mind that I would have to deal with this Donan one day because of what happened with Apollo, but this certainly wasn't how I expected our first meeting to go.
It was clear that he didn't know anything about what happened to Apollo, or else he wouldn't have acted this way towards me.
But there was always the risk of him finding out…
Still for now, it wasn't as if I could actually do anything to this Donan.
For now, I had to act as if I didn't know him.
The rest of the party went like any other banquet that would have been held by a human.
There were many others that came to greet me and all of them had important statuses in the Elven Kingdom.
There weren't any of them that actually had a negative attitude towards me. It seemed like all of them were very happy to see that I was here in the Elven Kingdom.
So that confused me even more.
But there was also something else that I noticed.
There were quite a few elves that approached Aisha.
It was just that these elves weren't normal elves.
While it was hard to tell how old an elf was since they were a race with long lives, it was clear that these were male elves that weren't that old. At the same time, it was clear that all of them were male elves that were single.
It was obvious that they were sending these male elves to see if they could seduce Aisha.
It was just that none of them were able to move her at all as she just ignored all of them when they approached her.
In the end, I helped her by asking, "Your majesty, is there a place for us to rest? It's been a long journey and a long day, so it would be great if we could find a place to rest first."
