When we arrived at the gates, I was surprised to see how many elves were waiting there.
It wasn't just the number of elves that were there that I was surprised by, but rather the fact that none of them had any hostility to them.
With the way that they gathered, it really seemed like all of them had gathered to welcome VIP guests.
I didn't think that we were important enough to be treated like this, but this was how they had gathered.

I couldn't help being a bit surprised by the greeting of this high elf.
After all, I couldn't see a trace of deceit in her eyes at all.
It seemed that she was being genuine about this.
It wasn't this high elf alone that had this look, the other high elves seemed to have the same look on their faces.
Seeing this just confused me even more since I had no idea why they would be acting like this.

I was once again surprised since I didn't expect the Elven Kingdom to go this far.
I really thought that all that we would receive is the normal welcome that any delegation would get and would have to wait to meet the Elven King. But it seemed like they were as anxious to meet me as I was to meet them.

With that we were led to the large castle in the distance.
