She Professed Herself The Pupil Of The Wiseman (WN)-Chapter 291: Ark Continent (1)

There were many countries founded by former players other than Arkite. Of those, the biggest and most influential was Atlantis, and now that this world was reality, they continued to house a large number of former players.
Nirvana, the country organizing the tournament, was the second one after that.
Until now, Mira had been traveling around the Earth Continent, where Arkite and the Three Gods’ Countries were located. Meanwhile, Nirvana was in the southern edge of the Ark Continent, to the west of Earth.
The Ark Continent was enormous, shaped like giant opened jaws encircling the Earth Continent.
There were more dungeons in the Ark Continent compared to the Earth Continent, so players would travel there once they reached an intermediate level of skill, but the monsters there were unusually powerful, and the average difficulty of the dungeons was also higher, so half of those players would run back to Earth shortly after.
Nirvana was located on the inner side of the curve of the Ark Continent, so traveling there was easy. One could go to Sentopolly in the western edge of the Earth Continent, and take a boat headed south from there.
Since the announcement of the tournament, Sentopolly had seen an onrush of travelers trying to get through. Mira was also there, about to board a ship that would arrive in Nirvana’s northern port three days later.
Before getting there, she had also delivered a set of documents to the duke of Roseline, at Solomon’s request, then went sightseeing around Sentopolly before boarding that ship.
Those documents Solomon had sent were related to an alliance with Ulysses Eabates, who was the president of the Eabates Trading Corporation and the current ruler of Roseline. When she reached there, the duke seemed really excited to finally receive them, so that alliance was something both sides had really desired.
「Ohh, I see land, we’re almost at Nirvana!」
Mira ran up to the prow of the ship, pointing at a strip of land visible in the distance as she raised her voice. A bunch of children followed behind her, cheering loudly with her.
On the ship, she had met many other passengers who were heading to the tournament as well, and before she realized, she found herself in charge of all the children.
「Kyuu, kyuu!」
There was one more being amongst Mira and the children. She was the Selkie summon Phie, who Mira had summoned to play with the children, but also seemed to be enjoying herself there.
Phie looked like a seal, who could be really helpful if anything happened on board. Her cute appearance and affinity for water also gave the childrens’ parents some peace of mind.
Lately, Phie had also picked up the habit of mimicking people, and was currently spinning around while wearing a raincoat she had picked up somewhere.
「It’s looking quite busy here too.」
As they got closer to the port, Mira noticed there were many other similar passenger ships.
Nirvana was putting a lot of work into organizing the tournament, so they had also arranged for plenty of transport vessels to be available. Even the Three Gods’ Countries had made their flying ship available, giving many people a chance to experience flying in one for the first time, casting even more light on the tournament.
Currently only the biggest countries had the means of obtaining flying ships, but they would likely become more common in the future.
Everyone had heard about the upcoming event by now, and many believed it would become a significant moment in history.
「I can’t wait for it to start.」
She was there trying to find Meilin, but she was more excited about the upcoming event, feeling like it would be a massive festival. Then, she turned around to see Phie and the children running around happily, which made her smile as well.
At Nirvana, everyone was talking about the tournament.
「Tournaments are a common event in various stories, but this really feels like it’s on a whole different level…」
It was already the afternoon when she arrived at the port, and after parting ways with the children in a seemingly saddened way, she was confronted by an overwhelming reality.
That port city in Nirvana’s northern side, called Sutra, was the most common entry way into Nirvana, and was a well known tourist spot, so it was always filled with travelers. But thanks to the tournament, that had increased even more, making the streets unbelievably crowded.
She could always use her spirit mansion to sleep comfortably wherever she was, but staying in local inns and trying their food was an important part of traveling for Mira. Her mission to find the missing Wisemen was important, but enjoying her time traveling took priority for her, and she wanted to get as much as possible out of her current situation as well.
So she began searching around Sutra for an inn that still had an empty room for her. But the streets were filled with people interested in the tournament, which also meant they knew a lot about adventurers, so it did not take long before they began pointing at her and asking each other, 「Hey, wait, do you think that could be the Spirit Queen?!」
「Huh? Who?」
「There, the girl there!」
Quite some time had passed since she first began being called the Spirit Queen, so by now everyone knew what she actually looked like. The illusions many made about her being a dashing lady with no equal had vanished, as information about her actually being a pretty girl spread.
(So I’ve finally become famous as well.)
Now that this world was real, even non-former players were recognizing her now, so it happened more often than during her time as Danbulf. But she did not run away from it or tried to hide, instead proudly showcasing herself in public. After all, she had been denied entry into the tournament, so she needed to find other venues to make summoners seem appealing, and she would take anything that came her way.
While many had heard about the Spirit Queen, not many had actually seen her yet, so they continued to doubt whether it was really Mira or not.
They had heard that the Spirit Queen was a pretty girl wearing a magical girl style dress and had long silvery hair. All of that matched the girl they were seeing, but the description was still too broad, so no one dared approach her, and instead just kept their distance, wondering if she could be the Spirit Queen.
Mira also was unsure of whether approaching them instead would be a good idea, so things remained in that dubious state as she continued searching for an inn.
Meanwhile, there was a figure tailing her, wading through the throngs of people to keep an eye on Mira, trying to get as close as possible. And once close enough, a timid voice rang out, 「Ex-Excuse me… Are you the Spirit Queen?」
Mira spun around at the voice and saw a girl smaller than herself speaking—
「Yes, people have been calling me that a lot lately.」

Mira beamed a welcoming smile as she looked at the girl’s appearance. Her happiness did not come from the fact that someone had finally tried talking to her, but because that girl was wearing a Sage’s Robe Replica (Summoner).
The girl, too, seemed utterly overwhelmed at meeting the Spirit Queen.
「Umm…umm, you know, you’re…I’m…I’ve…ah…」
The girl was so happy and had so much she wanted to say that she kept tripping on her words trying to get them out, but she still kept going, and Mira listened attentively to everything the girl had to say.
