[Inside the Tower]

Vexthra, who was seated inside the Mountain Garden enjoying her tea, suddenly felt an unknown force block her connection to Kent.

This caused her to panic; however, before things could escalate, Gaia appeared inside the garden.

"Where is Kent?" Vexthra asked.

"He is on a mission that came with a special condition. We can't contact him, and he can't contact us. However, he is fine.

"I only came to inform you because he will be away for a while," Gaia responded, and Vexthra let out a deep sigh.

Her worried expression softened upon hearing what Gaia said.

"How long will he be away for?" Vexthra asked.

"Close to two years," Gaia answered. Since time runs differently inside the tower, the three weeks for Kent are over 500 days for them. So, close to two years will pass before they see Kent again.

"Thank you." Gaia nodded and left.

"Two years. That is enough time to make sure the ladies are at their prime." A smile tugged at her lips as she looked over the bustling city.

With 120 new people added, it started to look more like a proper city and less like just a place with majestic structures.

After spending a few seconds there, she left for the Body Tower, where her sister would be waking up soon. She needed time to make sure they came out of their training looking their best.

Inside the Legion Tower, the undead and the Eternal Wrath, the new addition to Kent's team who had come from the dungeon, also started to look at each other's faces the moment they teleported back into the tower.

Kent had only told Kaizo to mess with the 16th Oracle, but he said nothing about them not being able to contact him after he was teleported away.

Thankfully, after Gaia, who could communicate with the tower, learned of what was going on, she made sure all concerned bodies were made aware of the situation.

She appeared inside the Legion Tower at the same time she went to see Vexthra.

"Master will be away for two years, so do whatever you want for the time being. I will inform you if he has something for you." After saying that, she left.

"In that case, why don't we handle the last four dungeons and be done with the mission once and for all?" Kaizo proposed, and the rest of his teammates nodded.

Kaizo then turned to the eight Eternal Wrath, who held calm looks on their faces. Well, they appeared calm, but they were some of the most dangerous beings in the universe, so they weren't exactly calm, per se.

"Do you guys want to join us?" Kaizo asked, but all eight shook their heads, and without even a peep, they vanished into their respective dungeons.

They would rather wait for Kent to return so they could see what the hell was going on and why they felt like they had become someone's subordinate.

Naturally, becoming Kent's subordinate was the least of their worries. They were more concerned about the fact that they had died and come back to life—and now, they felt like they didn't belong in the dungeons in the first place.

But they must wait for Kent to come back before all their questions are answered.

Kaizo looked at where the eight Eternal Wrath had stood and smirked. "What an uptight bunch." He shrugged and turned back to his teammates.

"I guess it's just us now." They nodded, and before long, vanished into the next dungeon they would be clearing. Zareth needed the bodies from their kills to unlock another skill or technique.

Meanwhile, inside the Dead Region, Kent was still seated, circulating his blood as the Chaos energy entered his body, improving his comprehension.

After the Tower made him aware that he had started learning Chaos Qi, he sat there doing nothing aside from comprehending it.

Ten minutes later, a message appeared, bringing a smile to his face:

⟪Your comprehension of Chaos Qi has improved slightly⟫

In energy cultivation or elemental cultivation, there are stages or levels one must rise through based on their comprehension of the energy or element they are cultivating.

The stages are: Weak, Medium, High, Very High, Super, Perfect, Transcendent, Supreme, Harmony, and the most important—and perhaps the level everyone wants to reach—Perfect Harmony. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm

Each level comes with its own requirements and perks. However, cultivating them is not something easily achieved.

But once they did, the perks were much more robust than they could imagine.

A Root Sovereign with a Weak understanding of Chaos Qi can easily kill most Core Formation experts who rely solely on spiritual qi.

This is essentially the reason why most cultivators chase after other sources of energy like Void, Abyssal, Necrotic, and many more.

This is also the main reason his women and undead legion are much more powerful than the average cultivator.

Now, Kent is learning the most robust Qi, one even more powerful than Celestial Qi that differentiates Celestials from Supremes. Thanks to his natural affinity for Chaos energy, he is making sturdy progress with minimal effort.

As time went by, his understanding began to improve, and he started to feel his strength rising by the second. The more time he spent there, the more powerful he felt.

Five days passed in the blink of an eye, and since nobody disturbed him, he continued his training until the sixth day, when a sudden burst of chaotic energy erupted from his body, filling the four miles around him.

At the same time, two messages appeared in his vision, bringing a smile to his face:

⟪Your comprehension of Chaos Qi has improved dramatically. You have reached the Weak stage⟫

⟪You have unlocked 9% of your Bloodline.⟫

These two messages made him very happy. He could feel the energy running through his body, as if that was the only thing he needed at that moment.

Thankfully, he managed to snap out of his daze and chose to check how much he had improved. The result shocked him, but he knew what was how far he could rise in this aspect.

The moment he attained Weak comprehension of Chaos Qi, he could tell how pitifully low the chaos energy in the air had become.

The only reason he was able to comprehend Chaos Qi was because of his bloodline. Essentially, he had used the Chaos Qi in the air to temper his body and meridians so that his bloodline could supply him with Chaos Qi.

Now, he had reached the stage he had aimed for, and as a result, he had already become much more powerful.

So the next step was to embark on the mission the universe gave him...
