Chapter 22: Your career is over

Silas’s POV

His kick really did hurt me. Nekol also stood up in a hurry, shocked by what had just happened. I was about to stand up when I suddenly got kicked again—this time on my back—forcing my face even harder into the ground.

"You’re an Omega. How dare you try to act cocky in front of me?" he sneered.

As he continued speaking, I turned back, still in the same position, and glared at him.

"How dare you reject me? Do you even know how popular I am? I’m a top actor! Guys, hold him down. I need to teach him his place."

Two guys started approaching me, and I had a feeling that blondie was releasing pheromones because the other Omegas nearby were starting to feel weak. But I was too pissed off to care. How dare he kick me—twice?

I saw Nekol stepping forward to help me, but I gestured for him to stop. I stood up by myself just as those two guys were about to grab me. I didn’t even give them a chance—I grabbed my ramen bowl and threw it in one guy’s face while grabbing the other and slamming his face onto the table. If they dared to mess with me, they had to be taught a lesson.

"You little b*tch!" the guy I had hit with the ramen shouted, lunging at me.

Despite everything happening, no one stepped in to help me. This just showed why blondie was so damn cocky.

I grabbed a fork and stabbed it directly into the hand of the guy attacking me. The moment blood started oozing from his hand, he backed off, defeated. The other guy was in no condition to stand up.

Now, only one was left. I turned my glare toward blondie and took a step toward him.

"You son of a B*tch!" he cursed, preparing to kick me again.

This time, I dodged and delivered a mae geri kick straight to his face. His jaw practically dropped from the impact.

"Blondie, you messed with the wrong person. Do you realize that?"

He stumbled but managed to regain his balance. He tried to kick me again, but I blocked it—only for him to punch me in the chest. The pain was so sharp I almost cried, but I gritted my teeth and held back.

I grabbed him by the collar, threw him onto the ground face-first, and delivered a solid kick to his back.

"Agh... you B*tch!" he groaned in pain.

But I wasn’t done yet. I bent down, rolled him onto his back, and kicked him in the stomach with all my strength.

"You bastard! I don’t even know you, so why the hell were you proposing to me? And when I rejected you politely, you decided to beat me? You’re pathetic."

"No, wait, even dogs are loyal to their owners. You’re worse than a dog—you’re a f*cking piece of shit."

I straddled him and started punching his face until Nekol suddenly grabbed my hand.

"Silas, stop! His face is bleeding!"

That was when I finally noticed—his face was swollen and covered in blood. It was honestly a satisfying sight.

Then, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the fourth guy—the one who had been with blondie—recording everything on his phone. I shot him a glare, and he quickly stuffed his phone back into his pocket.

I got up from blondie and stood beside Nekol.

"How dare that bastard kick me—twice?! Man, I want to disable him right now," I muttered, still fuming.

Just then, a man rushed in.

"Wh-Who did this to you, Addy?!" he asked, hurrying to help blondie up.

His eyes scanned the scene, trying to figure out what had happened. But judging by his face, he had no idea who had beaten blondie this badly.

"Addy, don’t worry. Your manager is here. I’ll handle everything—just tell me who dared to lay a hand on this company’s face."

I stepped forward, locking eyes with him.

"I hit him. What are you gonna do about it?" I asked coldly.

He looked at me like he couldn’t believe what he was hearing. That’s when the guy who had recorded everything stepped forward and showed him the video.

"Nekol, let’s go," I said. There was no reason for me to stand here and watch his reaction. I was already leaving when—

"Hey, you! How dare you hit Addy?! Do you even realize what a mistake you’ve made? Addy is the face of this company!"

"Fans are crazy about him! He had an interview scheduled for this evening, and now you’ve ruined his face, you lowly Omega!"

Wow. This guy was just as annoying as blondie.

"So what if he has an interview tonight?" I scoffed. "I don’t think you watched the full video. He was the one who kicked me first when I was just trying to sit down."

"It doesn’t matter! Even if he had killed you, it would be justified! He’s an Alpha, and you’re an Omega—know your place."

Wow. So because he’s an Alpha, he can kill me if he wants? What kind of bullshit is that?

Suddenly, Nekol stepped forward, standing in front of me.

"It was Addy’s fault. You can’t blame the newbie," Nekol said firmly.

"Who the f*ck do you think you are? Wait... are you that b*tch’s manager or something?"

"Yes, I am. And Silas didn’t do anything wrong."

Wow. Nekol was actually taking my side. That was unexpected—but definitely nice.

That man helped blondie stand up, but his entire face was messed up—and I was the one who did that. A smirk spread across my lips at the thought.

"I’m going to sue you! Your acting career is over. The company will kick you out now!"

That annoying man was threatening me, but I wasn’t intimidated. Nekol was also arguing back on my behalf.

Before doing anything else, that man took blondie to the company’s doctors for treatment. Shortly after, the company’s CEO—Damon—called for everyone involved in the incident to gather.

As I stood in Damon’s office beside Nekol, I faced that annoying man and the idiot blondie, who stood directly in front of me. Behind them were his three sidekicks—the ones who had tried to gang up on me earlier.
