Day 13:

For Aoni, Life had become rather dull. Wake up, eat, siphon, maybe if hes lucky, limit break a passive, eat, siphon, eat, sleep.

Apart from the occasional few minutes of banter with his brother and summons, there wasn't much else he could do, especially considering how long it took to drain the Grade-7 Energia.

At first, he was all gung-ho and ready to go, fully believing it wouldn't be too difficult; however, that was wishful thinking because, contrary to the timeline Aoni had originally devised, it took far longer and way more Energia to break a passive a second time.

In fact, it would take between 9 and 11 hours to fill the imaginary resource tank somewhere inside his body, and that tank must first be filled before it can be utilized to break something's limits.

Aoni needed to do this at least 15 times if he wanted to replicate his achievements with the Grade-6 Energia, which meant he still had 5 days to go.

---

"Done working for the day?" Anthony asked as he walked into the Chamber with Glacia not far behind.

"Yeah, if it's this difficult already, I can't imagine how bad it will be when I start up on the last section. How's Nyria doing?" Standing up and shaking out his stiff muscles, Aoni asked while setting up camp for the night.

"She seemed alright, eating healthy, found a bunch of new trinkets on the eastern side of the mountain, but…she really misses you."

"I know, but I can't force her to leave the barrier." Picking up a rubber ball rolled to his feet by Glacia, Aoni tossed it across the room for her to fetch before continuing to set up his tent.

"I know, while it's understandable, you and I both know she can't stay cooped up in your territory her whole life, although, she did get some new space thanks to your Grade increasing." Pausing after saying that, Anthony looked over at his brother with a careful gaze before nodding.

He could tell just how much the last two weeks had benefited Aoni, be it his stats or just the air around him; Ant knew that his baby brother was catching up to him at an extremely irregular pace.

As for how Anthony knew about Aoni achieving his Third Star, well, the not-so-secret secret had been spilled after the whole Possession incident.

---

Once camp was set up for the night, Anthony dropped a backpack down in front of Aoni while wearing a lazy smile.

"Found some more junk for you to inspect; hopefully, this time, there's something useful. I gotta say, that new Ability of your Attribute is invaluable; without it, I feel like this whole trip woulda only benefited you and not the rest of us, haha."

"UGHHH, more junk, dude; how many times have I told you to collect items sparingly? The headache isn't WORTH IT!" Aoni grumbled while dumping the contents of the backpack onto the ground and narrowing his eyes.

Before him were several broken weapons, a few strange stones, and several previously unidentified plants in small glass boxes.

"3-Star Blanc Lily, average market price 210k – 244k," picking up the first glass box, Aoni examined the small white flower carefully before gently placing it down and moving on to the next.

"4-Star Travious Bayleif, AMP 380k – 400k,"

"3-Star Vein of Blissful Snow… oh, this one's good, 1.2 mil to 1.8 mil, that's an auction piece for sure."

"The sword and dagger are damaged beyond repair, but they seemed to be made of a three-metal alloy, so if melted down and separated, they should net between 150,000 bucks to 200k."

"Seriously, Aoni, your new Ability never ceases to amaze me…" Shaking his head and blinking away the illusionary dollar signs in his eyes, Anthony quickly picked up the stuff his brother had labeled and carefully stored it away in one of the chests provided by his brother.

'Hehe, if only he knew the full extent of my new Inspection Display.' Aoni thought while lazily combing through the rest of the junk and picking out a few choice items.

Yep, you guessed it. Upon reaching 3-Stars, Progression gifted Aoni yet another new Display, and what he was telling Anthony was only a fraction of the information he could obtain with a simple glance at an item.

'No shit, Sherlock, still, it could be useful when it comes to increasing my percentage of Ice and Blood Elementalization; after all, it has the Cultivation Tag attached to its Primary uses, which means just being near the plant will allow me to feel and increase my knowledge of the two Elements.'

As he thought about the potential gains he could get, Aoni's eyes drifted toward Anthony, triggering the words on his new Display to change.
