I Will Survive Till The End: Blood Extermination Academy-Chapter 82: Enough is ENOUGH!
Chapter 82: Enough is ENOUGH!
Arc 2, Chapter 82 — Enough is ENOUGH!

Winhest’s revelations hung in the air like smoke after a gunfire.
"Hold on... Instructor Winhest... since this is their last match, doesn’t it mean they had one earlier? I think Delweather must have won that one. So is Cerine, Out?"
"No," Winhest answered plainly. "Their first battle was 2 weeks ago... Cerine won that match."
WHAT?
Everyone felt they heard the biggest joke.
Impossible! How did she win?
After watching that match, it was hard for them to see Cerine winning against Delweather. Yet she did...
Winhest chuckled, finding amusement in their confusion.
"The rimmed circle in the arena..." he stated. "If you manage to force your opponent out of that circle mid-battle, victory belongs to you."
In other words, the first person to push their opponent out of the rimmed circle automatically wins, no matter how tough one’s opponent is.
’So that’s how it is...’
Levon unraveled a strawberry lollipop, placing it into his mouth thoughtfully. He now more or less had a general understanding of the Bloodren competition’s Phase 1.
According to Winhest, they’ll get randomly paired with any Bloodren 10s.
’Interesting... we can fight any Bloodren 10s, except those in our chosen groups.’
He, Shugo, Leo, Artilla, and Rayna were in one group. This meant they won’t be fighting each other during the Phase 1 competitions.
They could be paired to fight Floriana, Hendrix, or any other Bloodren 10s, including those from last year who will soon be making their appearance.
’What a pity...’
Levon inwardly sighed, finding it unfortunate that he won’t be fighting any of his teammates.
It would be a lie to say he wasn’t excited about the thought of fighting them head on at full force. It wasn’t just him who felt so, but several others.
Yimu pouted her lips cutely when staring at the now-awakened Floriana.
"Boss, it’s a pity I can’t fight you. Fighting in an arena will surely be different from our usual fights in the training rooms."
No matter how daring they are, they don’t go all out in training rooms against each other, lest they accidentally kill someone.
But here in the arena, the host will protect anyone who was inches from getting killed.
So didn’t this mean they could go all out and damn the consequences?
Heh-heh-heh~
It would be great if they were given the chance to fight each other in their groups and see just how strong they fare against themselves.
.
.
The group chewed Winhest’s words slowly.
In conclusion, the Phase 1 competitions will rank opponents in different teams against each other.
Then after an opponent is chosen for them, they’ll have just 2 matches to either win once or draw with their opponent.
If you can’t win or get a draw, you’ll have to wait until next year to redo the whole thing from the start.
From what Winhest said earlier, one cannot move to Phase 2 without passing Phase 1’s conditions. Those were the rules.
"The strong wait for no one." Winhest’s lips twisted wickedly. "If you cannot make it through Phase 1, then too bad."
As Winhest spoke, the eyes of many Bloodren 10s slowly lingered on Levon.
In their eyes, Levon’s team would probably leave him behind, advancing to Phase 2. As for Levon, he’d probably have to wait for a year, 2 or even 5.
Perhaps with his shitty talent, he might still fail next year and wait another year, and another.
So long as he doesn’t get any punishments that tally up to 2 years, he can keep repeating and repeating over and over again.
—But then again, how can there be many chances?
There was a limit to how many times one can repeat Phase 1 Bloodren 10, before getting shipped away to any of the Dead Zone departments.
Heh.
When it came to Levon, many had no second thoughts about his chances during Phase 1... TRASH.
Victorio had a fleeting look in his eyes when staring at the back of Levon’s head. Like a Predator watching over its Prey, his eyes never moved away from his target.
"Mine..." Victorio murmured, no one around him catching his words.
Eh? Levon felt a shiver crawl up his spine, out of nowhere. ’Am I cold? Impossible, right?’
It would make sense to be cold when flying this high up in the air. However, ever since he gained his shard, his body had the ability to regulate and adapt to both hot and cold climates.
Levon scratched his head in confusion, brushing it off to focus on more important matters—The Bloodren 10 Competitions.
Soon, Winhest’s voice bellowed once more:
"Both Phase 1 and Phase 2 competitions will test just how much combat training and shard techniques you’ve mastered"
"Even if you win against your opponent in Phase 1, if you fall short and do not display the specific Bloodren 10 requirements for Pass, you will still FAIL Phase 1."
Take Cerine for example. In the first match, she did win by default. However, if today, she couldn’t prove her strength, then that default win will automatically get canceled, leading to failure.
Winhest’s words definitely sent off countless warning bells on the hearts of many.
So what were the other requirements for a Pass Mark for Phase 1?
—The ability to hold up a shard’s true form for 15 minutes during a battle.
—The ability to manipulate a Shard’s appearance to a slightly bigger or smaller size 1/10th of its original form.
—Ability to control the shard without touching it, fighting enemies from a distance.
Winhest stated these 3 conditions that must be displayed during battle.
Soon, they arrived home, with many having no desire for supper.
On his bed, Levon’s thoughts spiraled.
’The Bloodren 10 Competitions begin in 2 weeks.’
’After the first battle, there’ll be another battle in another 2 weeks.’
Knowing himself, he knew he might not be able to reach all requirements by the first battle. He wasn’t counting on victory in his first battle, but in the 2nd one.
’Weak.’
Levon crossed his arms against his chest, feeling his shoulders growing heavier.
Now, he felt the pressure.
In order to win, he can’t keep on going the way he usually does. Levon felt he would have to–’
Zzzzzzzz~
There it was AGAIN!
Levon froze in his thoughts hearing the familiar slumbering noises bombard his ears.
Staring into the distance, an irksome expression clouded his features.
’This has gone long enough.’
It’s time to put an end to this once and for ALL!
