I Will Survive Till The End: Blood Extermination Academy-Chapter 125: And So It Begins~
Chapter 125: And So It Begins~
Arc 2, Chapter 125 — And So It Begins~

To understand the relationship between a shard and its wielder could take years to truly grasp.
However, one thing is certain—Whether it was against Ghouls and Vampires, battling them and winning adds a certain karmic effect on the shards and the human, making them grow stronger together.
The stronger the enemies are and more enemies killed, are the primary aspects that help a Shard level up.
Yaeger continued: "That being said, Human Levon, it’s not just the shard that grows stronger. Every Time you train, a fraction of your gained results goes into his OWN body."
Levon nodded, now understanding how it came that Gaara was so strong.
He watched Gaara lightly poke a tree and shattered it with countless needle-like splinters exploding out like poisonous darts.
But it wasn’t just the tree targeted that exploded, but 150 other trees behind it in a triangular formation. And all this was from a simple light poke.
So imagine taking a punch from him at full force?
—Gaara, the Red-haired Destroyer.
Such a name suited him well, especially with how much destruction Levon saw him leave during their brief one-on-one talks.
Sometimes, the guy would accidentally forget to control his strength, going way overboard.
Truthfully, with Gaara ’s physical strength, he doesn’t need to use his weapon to defeat a swarm of Ghouls and vampires.
He could probably flick a pebble from a distance and their heads would explode. But as Yaeger has mentioned, it’s best to get your kills done by your shard.
Don’t forget that everytime a shard does the killing, that shard also grows stronger alongside its user.
Of course, for Gaara who has reached a higher rank in terms of ability, his shard might look down on fighting weaklings, preferring Gaara to use his fists.
All Shards have personalities
’Instructor Winhest only dabbled on it lightly, but I think I’m getting the clearer picture.’ Levon was deep in thought.
"Human Levon." Yaeger continued, his voice growing heavier. "With our contract made, the only way you can unseal the rest of my true powers is if your TRUE strength is on par with Powers at every Seal Stage."
That’s the only way.
Yaeger thinned its lips, knowing there were still a million and one things about it that Levon didn’t know of.
However, Yaeger would rather roll over and die than spoon-feed Levon anything else.
This human is a being carrying the Almighty Shard King.
If it can’t even figure the rest out for itself, then he—Yaeger, had an even bigger bone to pick on the ones who trapped him here.
’No trash deserves to house this King.’
Yaeger rolled its head, purring and licking its fur as Levon left.
"Hmph! Human Levon, You better use this King well during your match... This king will not accept FAILURE."
"Don’t worry." Levon paused, slowly leaning his head towards his right shoulder. "I know."
The information learnt today was more than enough to give him ideas.
With that, the two concluded their brief meet-up, the turbulence between them now gone.
—Partners...
That’s it.
They had bigger things to worry about than each other.
.
.
Like so, time flew by in a flash.
Everyone was solely focused on their own strengths, and that of their groups. And for a moment, many felt the days had passed them by too quickly.. Especially when some were not ready yet for their Final showdowns.
But what could they do?
Like it or not, TODAY WAS THE DAY for the second half of the Phase 1 competitions.
~Whoosh.
Many rose from their sheets with fighting power brimming in their bodies.
This was it!
The day has finally come for some to get a chance at winning and making out to the PHASE 2.
As expected, Phix and his flying board arrived right on time. No matter how many times they saw iot, it still seemed magical in their eyes.
Up, up, up and away they go.
Everyone hopped on their shards and flew onto the ship’s deck.
Phix welcomed them once more, wishing luck to those competing today.
Some won last time, were more relaxed, feeling that with their added training and the fact that they were able to win their contender earlier, their victory today would still be a sure thing.
So why worry?
Some sneered, giving poisonous gazes to those they would soon fight.
They say the best form of battle is psychological.
Sometimes, making an enemy stutter before the battle begins, was more effective than throwing punches.
The ship moved as though coated with Pixie dust; and soon, they were out of their mansion’s airspace and heading straight for the tornamnet’s arena.
Looking around, they didn’t see the older Bloodren 10s, though that was to be expected.
From last time, they noticed that the ships carrying those old Bloodren 10s, were ships that looked so worn down and rickety.
Sure enough, the more mistakes you make and the less value you show, you only give you such treatment.
Many new bloodren 10s with no victory or draws in their favor, clenched their fists and swore to never fall into such a predicament.
~Swish
The ship moved faster than they recalled, stopping abruptly mid-air above the arena.
Afraid of heights? Anyone?
They could practically touch a few clouds at this height.
Everyone knew the drill, activating their shards and flying down coolly.
"Since you all know the order of your matches, only those fighting today are allowed in the Competitors Backspace." Phix advised.
Obviously, they were smart enough to know that the rest of them have to watch alongside the audience.
Pfft~
Don’t make them laugh.
What audience?
Stopping into the arena, they were the only ones here.
5 hours went by, and only 1 other person showed up.
My God, this was embarrassing.
Luckily, 2 other people showed throughout the rest of the day, but that was it—a total of 3 people, excluding themselves, the Bloodren 10s.
Of course, the old Bloodren 10s also watched, though some began snoring.
Some people even stood up to train in corners, making those fighting desperately below, want to cry.
TOO MUCH!
Too much Bullying!
Their eyes were blood red with fury.
Do you know how much energy they were using now, fighting for a chance of victory?
They felt they were in here, trying to slay some mighty dragon.
For them, their current competition was as important as the world coming to an end.
They were fighting tooth and bone, and there you are being so hateful and disrespectful?
That you are not interested in their little battle, is alright. In fact, you can even sleep and snore loudly as you can.
But what they won’t take, is you practicing in deep focus as though they were mere praying mantises exchanging playful blows with weak blades of grass.
Wooooooo~
They had no tears but wanted to cry.
These top dogs in their Bloodren 10 class were too much. Aren’t Phix, the staff or the host going to do anything about it?
Eh?... The host, why are you snoring the loudest?
"You-You-You..."
Their poor hearts couldn’t take it anymore, with some getting so angry and distracting that they lost their matches.
And the moment the results were announced, they stared at the bog wings who were training in the distance, wishing to eat them raw.
"IT’S ALL YOUR FAULT!"
They exploded in fury, knowing that they just blew their chance to get into Phase 2.
On their knees, they grabbed their hair, pulling it so hard they almost became bald.
"It’s over. It’s over... I will have to wait an entire year..."
The color on their faces drained, and their imaginary images of their desolate pictures now flashed before their eyes.
HOW will they live from now on? WHERE will they live from now on?
In a rickety home that’s near collapsing? In a forest and abandoned place?
Please, please... who can tell them where and how they will be living the rest of their lives till next year?
No more classes!
This thought stung them like vipers.
They will now work, work, WORK till their next opportunity arises. And who was to blame?
’One day, we will have our REVENGE.’
These people looked at these Older Bloodrens with murderous intent. But do you think anyone cares?
"What’s this? Get up now and leave the arena. You’ve lost, you’ve lost. Do you think I, the Host, has all day here to watch you weaklings dance around?"
"_"
...
Watching the host shoo these losers off the stage, many old bloodrens laughed.
"Oh? What’s the matter with New Bloodrens? Cant take a little heat?"
"Hey now, you won’t blame us for your failures right?"
"That’s right. In real battle, do you think you won’t have distractions around you? If you can’t even focus on the enemy before you, then forget about advancing in this LIFE."
"Bahahahahahaha~... I think that one’s about to cry."
"Awwww, are you missing your mommy? Do you want some breast milk and someone to cuddle you in at night too?"
"Tch—Wastes, every fucking one of you. Just take your losses and get out of the arena. The faster you guys do these battles, the faster we can GET OUT OF HERE."
