I Will Survive Till The End: Blood Extermination Academy-Chapter 113: Aftermath
Chapter 113: Aftermath
Arc 2, Chapter 113—Aftermath
.
.
Point, blank, simple.
It was beneath him to fight with the current Levon.
Victorio allowed his words to sink in as he slowly walked away, passing Levon with a low smirk.
"For now, I’ll let you revel in glory. However, the next time we clash... I won’t be going this easy on you again."
For a moment, a hint of displeasure and viciousness cloaked Victorio’s face.
For Levon’s sake, it’s best he finds a way to crack through his ceiling, so that he, Victorio, can have the pleasure of battle.
"Levon Belmont... As my Rival, I expect that much from you."
With that, he was gone, walking ahead, despite the rage from the masses.
"_" Levon who was following behind.
Rival? Since when?
So this lunatic was taking him as a rival from the very start?
What the hell? He swore he couldn’t remember any scene that led to Victorio concluding this much.
One should know that since getting accepted into the Order, this bastard has been giving him dangerous looks.
’Could it be that in the outside world, one of his girlfriends had a crush on me or something?’
Or could it be that he, Levon, was so dazzling that Victorio just couldn’t help taking him as a rival?
Levon was confused.
Like so, Battle 1 was over, but the masses were still in an explosive state.
Looking at the 2 figures leaving the scene, everyone who now understood Victorio’s true worth, and Levon’s true strength, almost puked blood in disgust.
At first, they thought Victorio gave up because he was afraid of Levon’s strength.
But who knew that this Levon Belmont was the owner of a low-tier Shard from pile 1, while Victorio Louche was the owner of a High-tier shard from Pile 24?
What was this? What the heck was going on in Victorio’s mind? Why didn’t he finish and slice such a worthless rag into a million pieces?
Well, after knowing Victorio’s strength and potential, it was hard for many to really put the blame on such a genius.
"TRASH! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!"
"BASTARD! Who are you to make me remember your full name? Dammit, why haven’t they invented a name eraser yet, so I can take out this worthless Shit’s name from my memory?"
"So pissed! So pissed! I think his name was placed there by accident."
"Yeah! Yeah! To think I was so hyped up when staring at this Pile 1 trash earlier. Ugh... I feel like washing my eyes with poison after this."
"It’s just the audacity for me... The audacity of him to swager in, is exactly what I don’t get."
"Dammit, the more I’m thinking of it, the more I feel like going Ape. The one called Victorio probably felt disgusted to put his hand on such a weakling."
"That is, does such a worthless rodent deserve to exchange blows in a one-on-one match?"
"Tsk. If I were him, I too might feel disgusted and just walk out. After all, he still has another match in 2 weeks. So his entering Phase 2 is definitely guaranteed."
"Well, I must return to watch how he beats this shameless imposter to death... Perhaps only then., will my anger fade."
"DIE, Levon Belmont, JUST DIE!"
...
The arena was thrown in disarray by the strange outcome and the strange combatants that were made to fight.
A trash paired with a one-in-a million-year genius? Are you sure those bastards above didn’t just do this because someone lost a bet or something?
"Well..." Sayako was dumbfounded. She sat in the cubicle, not understanding what her big sister Viletta liked about THAT boy.
"Big Sis Villy," she hesitated. "Are you sure he’s worth your attention?"
Villeta let out a soft laugh. "You little girl, there’s still one more match between them. So what’s the rush?"
Viletta’s eyes gleamed when staring at Levon below. But Rika and Sayako gave each other tactful looks, confusion still very evident on their faces.
Well, they didn’t see it.
They just couldn’t see what made this boy so darn attractive.
"Sister Villy, have you thought of requesting better glasses for yourself since the last ones broke?"
[Viletta]:...
Pfft, she couldn’t help it.
Viletta laughed in amusement, pinching Sayako’s cheek playfully. "You little brat, you’ve learnt to start teasing your big sister, aye?"
She knew they, and probably everyone else couldn’t see it, but her hunch has never led her wrong.
There’s definitely something peculiar about this Levon boy, something that probably only a few could speculate.
"What a special boy."
With that, the Phase-1 battles had officially concluded.
Everyone rose to their feet, their chests clogged with the abundance of strange emotions that needed venting.
But where to vent?
Several people headed for their usual practice locations, looking for something, or someone to pulverize.
As for the Bloodren 10s, they gathered around the same spot where the flying boat usually appeared.
Even those with matches a few days ago, had appeared today courtesy of the flying boat.
Mind you, from the moment their competitions started till its official end, the arena staff were in charge of taking and bringing them back.
Everyone got on, silence flooding the scene, especially when staring at both Levon and Victorio.
For the life of them, they couldn’t understand why Victorio had just walked off like that, completely disqualifying himself.
Of course, so many random guesses ran through their minds. However, when it came to Levon, they twisted and distorted their faces in utter disdain, hating to even be in the same breathing space as he.
"Brother Levy!"
"Buddy!"
"Bro!"
"Big Brother Levy!"
Levon’s gang rushed to his side the moment they spotted him on the floating ship.
Everyone was disgusted with the battle, but they didn’t care.
Hooray!
Their Brother Levon had won. Except for Rayna, everyone else was qualified to enter Phase 2. However, their worries when Rayna lost, weren’t so big since she and Pickler were almost even during battle.
They believed that Rayna would definitely overcome whatever challenges Pickler throws at her in their next match.
Their major worry had been Levon all along. And now that he had somehow made it through, how can they not feel over the moon?
Soon, they reached the gates of their Mansion. But unlike the last time, the ship actually went very low to the ground.
Everyone jumped off the flying ship, landing softly.
Make no mistakes, it was like jumping off a 4 story building from the deck to the ground.
On the ground, the Bloodren 10s stood casually, as they stared at the familiar short figure they have come to know—Phix, the Competition Master in charge of all Bloodren 10 tournaments.
He stood on the deck, staring at them like a monarch looking down on his subjects. Yet, there was an air of grace and calm on his face too.
"Again, congratulations are in order, to all of you who made it through to Phase 2... As for the rest of you, you still have one more shot in 2 weeks. In the end, I hope you all remember the little rules we discussed at the start of the competitions."
Immediately, Levon and everyone else felt a strange pressure on their shoulders. A handful of people fell to their knees, and some fell on their bellies.
Perhaps only 30% of them fell in one way or another. However, the pressure Levon felt on their shoulders was great. Levon stood, but was slouched down like an old man with a hunched back.
He could tell that Phix hadn’t even released 1/10th of his intimidating aura when facing them.
’What a scary little man.’
Levon thought so, recalling the rules from earlier.
"Hey," Shugo whispered. "Despite this small dude not mentioning some other hidden rules, I think that if any of the winners decide not to show up in the next match-up, it’s likely they’ll be disqualified from entering Phase 2."
"Yeah, I think so too." Rayna nodded. "I guess, they’ll give them punishment time during their exception too."
"Punishment, punishment, punishment." Leo muttered, while watching the ship finally leave. It was like sending a great Buddha away. "Honestly, these guys really know how to make a person shake."
Levon was amused, following his group and many others, back to a place they now called HOME.
It was night time. This meant, time to rest.
After taking their bath, everyone turned in by Lights out time, slumbering deeply without a care in the world.
Know that until all Phase 1 matchup battles are done, there will be no lectures whatsoever.
So for the next 2 weeks, they had to train solely on their own.
...
ZHOOOOOOOO—Zzzzzzz~
Shugo’s snoring was incurable.
Leo was unphased, sleeping in the most unique position anyone could imagine. Sometimes, Leo would punch the air in his sleep, screaming game slangs.
Could he be playing games in his dreams? Just how much does this guy like gaming?
Well, Levon had to admit that he was already used to sleeping in the same group with these crazy 2.
But unlike the duo, Levon knew he couldn’t rest anymore.
That strange noise, that strange slumbering lullaby... It’s been plaguing him for what felt like an eternity.
At this point, his sanity might break if he doesn’t investigate its source.
With that, he was gone... gone from the dormitory, and gone from the Mansion.
