I Was Transmigrated As An Extraordinary Extra-Chapter 29
Chapter 29: Chapter 29
"Angela! We got third place!" Whitney practically chirped. "Did you know Remillia was the one who guided our group?"
"Say what?" Angela replied, her voice flat.
"Oh we got third place," Whitney said.
"Oh, we got third place," Whitney repeated, seemingly missing the point.
"Not that," Angela stated, cutting her off.
"Remillia was our group guide?" Whitney said, finally catching on. "Why, what’s wrong?"
Angela completely ignored Whitney’s question and walked directly towards me.
"Oh, hello," I said, ignoring the snippets of their conversation with Whitney.
"What time did you finish?" Angela asked, ignoring my greeting.
"What time did you finish?" Angela asked instead.
"45 minutes," I replied.
Angela’s jaw tightened slightly. Maybe she was annoyed that I’d beaten her team, especially since I wasn’t a marksman. Everyone knew that marksmen and long-range fighters were usually the ones who guided their groups.
"Oh? I didn’t know you were actually useful to your team," Angela said, a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
The instinct to snap back was strong, a natural reaction for most women, but I held back. It was clear she was just trying to provoke me.
’I don’t know what she’d gain from this, though...’ I wondered.
"Don’t be like that. Remi’s been useful since the start," Junichi suddenly chimed in, jumping to my defense.
"He’s right. Even though she got tired quickly when we first met, she still managed to take down the Quivixx," Gregg added, backing up Junichi.
"Remi is... useful," Jawn said suddenly, his voice low but clear.
I just kept smiling through it all. I’m thankful these guys defended me or else I would end up fighting her.
That seemed to be the point where Angela decided to concede. "Urgh!" she huffed, turning away and heading back to her team.

Debate Club
I was completely drained after the monster hunting class, but I still had to drag myself to the debate club. And after that, my daily training awaited. My life felt like a frustrating loop.
Lost in my thoughts, I bumped into Whitney on the way to the debate club. We walked side by side, but neither of us said a word.
Sylvester was already at the podium, his head bent over, busy organizing his presentation for the day.
We waited for the other club members to arrive. As the clock struck five, he began. "Good evening, everyone. Thankfully, all of you are present today. I’m glad that..."
Every word he spoke seemed to go in one ear and out the other.
"Today, we will discuss the weak spots of monsters. You should have some basic knowledge of this already, but knowing the accurate location of a monster’s weak spot is a crucial piece of information. Without it, killing a monster efficiently becomes incredibly difficult. For instance, you can see how critical this learning can be by looking at your senior, Leanne Moss. By learning and utilizing this kind of information, she has reached the top 2,000 in the World Hero rankings."
A holograph of Leanne’s stats appeared on the projection screen.
My stats were different, of course, since I wasn’t from this world. However, to summarize, Hero stats typically included strength, agility, flexibility, and magic power. Her strength, flexibility, and magic power were considered Advanced rank, while her dexterity was Elite rank. For context, only 500 Heroes in the world possessed Elite-ranked agility.
"Not to mention, Ms. Leanne even hunted an elite-rank monster by herself," Sylvester added.
Just as he said, Leanne Moss was a well-known supporting character in this world. I had created her with an introverted personality, but I knew I would eventually meet her since she played a significant role in the novel.
"But don’t assume all monsters’ weak points are the same as humans’. While humans have three vital points that serve as weak spots, a monster’s weak points differ depending on their rank. The higher the rank, the harder it is to locate their weak spot."
"Okay, let’s take a look at an example," Sylvester said.
The hologram shifted, displaying an image of a monster on the screen.
"Everyone... Meet the ’Hendera Rentem’," Sylvester announced, pointing to the image. "At first glance, it was mistaken for a tiger due to the stripes covering its body. However, scientists have since classified it as a black panther, albeit significantly larger than normal ones, and its stripes glow with a bluish hue. Its fangs are much larger, its eyes sharper, and instead of yellow or orange irises, they’re a deep, dark blue. Its rank can be classified anywhere from Elite to Apex, though its specific grade remains unknown. It was one of the first monsters to appear on the day the Eclipse shocked the world. Yet, its weak spot is incredibly difficult to find," Sylvester explained.
With that, Sylvester paused, a mysterious smile playing on his lips.
"That is... according to the rumors. However, in reality, even if an individual or a guild did know its weak spot, why would they reveal it to the public? It’s survival of the fittest in the fight for the number one spot in the World Guild Rank. Plus, because of the rules, they are strictly prohibited from sharing such information," Sylvester stated.
He was right. In today’s world, information was big business. On the surface, certain companies operated like normal, handling paperwork and such, but internally, their primary focus was collecting and researching monster and beasts information. On a smaller scale, private investigators and detective agencies gathered and sold this data. Therefore, publicly disclosing this kind of information could lead to severe penalties.
Of course, making this information public would significantly help people kill monsters, but the forces of capitalism had effectively stifled any real debate on the topic.
"Now, where do you think the Hendera Rentem’s weak spot is?" Sylvester asked, his gaze sweeping over the room.
Sylvester then gave Whitney a suggestive look. No one knew the answer, especially not Whitney. Even I had only created this context and never revisited it in the novel. There simply hadn’t been an opportunity for the main character, Cypher, to go panthera-hunting.
"..." Whitney remained silent.
Just as I suspected, she didn’t seem to know. The way she was fiddling with her hair and glancing around suggested she was feeling embarrassed about not having the answer.
"Does anyone know the answer?" Sylvester prompted.
No one responded. For the first time, they seemed to be actively avoiding Sylvester’s gaze.
"Or... would anyone like to guess?" Sylvester offered.
Of course, I knew the answer. It was a perfect opportunity to stand out, but I deliberately didn’t raise my hand. I wanted to see what he was scheming. Sylvester was acting like he knew the answer, but in reality, he didn’t. His pretentious face was starting to really irritate me.
"I..." At that moment, a girl shyly raised her hand. I was surprised. Who the heck was she?
"Is it their ears?" she guessed, her face flushed.
’Poor girl...’ I thought.
She was just an extra who had clearly fallen for Sylvester.
The debate club continued for another hour. Even I was surprised by how much there was to learn beyond just monster weak spots, attribute compatibility, and the difference between light and dark magic or casting a spell. I learned in detail about the very things I had lazily explained in my novel.
"One last thing, we have an after-party planned at a nearby restaurant! It’ll be great if you can all come!" After the discussion wrapped up, Sylvester extended the invitation to everyone, and the students erupted in cheers.
For some reason, Whitney seemed particularly interested in going.
"Hey! Wait!" I called out to her.
