I Was Transmigrated As An Extraordinary Extra-Chapter 27
Chapter 27: Chapter 27
Aamon froze. The mention of his son was like a sudden, sharp blow. He hadn’t wanted to remember that painful day, a day he desperately wished he could erase from his memory. Thinking of his son always caused a deep, aching pain in his heart. He quickly masked the raw emotion in his eyes, replacing it with a gentle, if slightly strained, smile.
"Why?" Aamon asked, his voice soft.
"Can I go see him when I’m discharged? I’m on sick leave anyway, right?" Angela asked, her voice hopeful.
"Of course you can, my princess," Aamon said, his smile becoming more genuine as he focused on her request.
Angela leaned her head against her father’s shoulder, her mind drifting back to the chaotic events of earlier that day. The gallery... the Rogue... and a voice...
Her calm demeanor immediately vanished, her face twisting into a scowl. Even while she was fighting for her life, she could hear that girl’s voice clearly, the words cutting through the adrenaline and fear. She knew she would never forget what that girl had said to her.
She’s just being a baby. I’m sure her older brother will come to console her.
"Dad... Do you kno-" Angela cut herself off abruptly.
She stopped herself, forcing her racing thoughts to a halt. She needed to calm down. She didn’t want her father to get worked up over something like this, especially when it involved her brother. She knew mentioning him would bring back the pain her father had worked so hard to suppress.
"Hmmm? What’s that?" Her father’s voice, laced with curiosity, pulled her back to the present. He was staring at her questioningly.
"...I forgot about what to say. Hehe," Angela said, forcing a lighthearted chuckle, though it felt hollow.
Her father just smiled, his expression full of adoration, and gently rubbed her head. "You’re still young, yet you’re becoming forgetful," Aamon said, his tone teasing.
She just smiled back, playing along, but internally, her blood was boiling.
Two years ago, a huge tragedy had occurred. That day, her brother’s name had been carved deep inside her heart, becoming an untouchable, sacred subject to her. Everyone at Glacial Sphere Academy knew about that accident, about what had happened. That girl, of all people, should at least know about her brother’s state. And yet, she had mentioned her brother in that way, with such callous disregard.
She would never forget Remillia Lockhart.

The slanting rays of the setting sun painted the sky in warm hues of orange and gold, creating a serene and peaceful backdrop. It was a stark contrast to the situation unfolding in Monfort.
Pieces of broken concrete lay scattered across the ravaged roads. The air was filled with the heart-wrenching cries of children searching desperately for their parents. Police cars lined the perimeter of the ruined establishment, their lights flashing somberly, while ambulances continuously traveled back and forth, carrying the wounded and the dead.
The aftermath of the battle still remained.
"Cypher Knoxx and Remillia Lockhart. Angela Forbes is not here since she took a sick leave," Zachary Taylor announced as we approached the shimmering portal that connected Monfort to the Academy. He stood there, checking the returning students.
"We’ll be asking for the details later, so go back and rest for now. The Agents will take care of the rest," Zachary continued.
Agents were a different job than Heroes. While students at the Armed Forces Academy graduated from the same institution, Agents doesn’t need to enter Glacial Sphere. They were considered non-Heroes, although most possessed abilities that were incredibly useful in day-to-day life or during incidents like this. They weren’t frontline combatants; instead, they were the ones responsible for aiding, rebuilding, and restoring order.
"Understood," I said, my voice tired, while Cypher remained silent beside me, his gaze distant.
"All of you did good today, you can go back now," Zachary said, his tone acknowledging our efforts.
Even students from the Wandering Club seemed to have played a significant role in helping out with the unexpected emergency.
One by one, we, the weary students, walked through the portal. As we stepped back onto the familiar grounds of the academy, the group walked towards the dorms without exchanging a single word, the weight of the day’s events heavy on our shoulders.
On my way back, I seemed to be the last one following behind them, the silence of the group amplifying my own fatigue. Just then, Cypher, who had been walking ahead, turned to look at me.
"Remillia..." Cypher said, his voice low and serious.
"What?" I asked, my brow furrowed.
"Why are you insensitive?" Cypher said, his gaze intense.
I stopped walking for a few seconds, completely taken aback, before I pointed at myself, my hand trembling slightly. I looked at him, utterly flabbergasted.
"...What? Me? What did I do?" I said, my voice filled with disbelief.
"Angela," Cypher said, the single word hanging in the air.
Huh? So what about Angela? I couldn’t understand what he was saying. I only stared at him in confusion, my mind racing to try and decipher his meaning. Seeing my genuine bewilderment, he heaved a sigh, seemingly restraining himself.
"I can’t believe you. Don’t act like you don’t know what you did a while ago. Every student at the Academy knows about what happened to her brother," Cypher said, his voice laced with frustration.
"Don’t talk in riddles! Just say it directly!" I retorted, my own frustration bubbling to the surface. I truly didn’t understand what he was trying to say, and his cryptic words were only making it worse.
Cypher also seemed to become furious, but he stopped himself from shouting. He heavily walked towards me, his steps deliberate and menacing, as if ready to hit me.
I stopped myself from backing away, forcing myself to stand my ground as I glared back at him.
’Damn it! He’s too close!’
"We can talk about this later. For now..."
Cypher stopped himself mid-sentence, his expression shifting. He quickly turned his back away from me, leaving me standing there, dumbfounded, as he walked towards the elevator. I clutched my chest, my heart hammering against my ribs from the sudden tension. I could still feel the weight of his gaze on me, as if he were drilling holes in my head.
"Weird.... What really happened?" I mumbled silently to myself as I finally continued walking and entered my room, the encounter leaving me unsettled and bewildered. freёweɓnovel.com
"That new author must have done something..." I was silently mumbling to myself as I entered my room, the unsettling encounter with Cypher replaying in my mind. It felt like something fundamental had shifted, something I couldn’t quite grasp.
Sensing that something was wrong, perhaps picking up on my unease, I called out for Macaron. "Macaron?"
"Master?" Macaron’s voice chirped from under the bed covers, and a moment later, his small, furry head peeked out, his large eyes blinking innocently.
"Open system notifications," I said, needing to see if the system held any clues to the strange events of the day.
A series of notifications popped up before my eyes:
[Goddess of Luck! Daedru Dagger deals critical damage to ’Follower of Vhinka’.]

[Congratulations! New item added into shop! Plot Master!]
This last one really got my attention. Plot Master? That sounded significant, especially given the weirdness with Cypher.
"Open system shop," I commanded, my interest piqued. I needed to see what this ’Plot Master’ was. I quickly scanned the virtual shelves of the shop, looking for the newly added item.
