Chapter 217: Morning Rush!

A few hours later,

"Abby, my little wife, we are officially married now. You, my wife, will be stuck with me forever..." Sawyer smiled at her.

She returned his smile, but before she could respond, he leaned down and kissed her.

After sharing the kiss, Sawyer kept his face close to hers, his eyes filled with love. In a seductive tone, he whispered, "My little wife, would you like to have another round?"

Her heartbeat quickened at his tempting question. Slowly, memories of their passionate lovemaking from earlier flashed through her mind, igniting a fire within her.

A surge of passion stirred within her, tempting her to consider Sawyer’s alluring offer. Just as she was about to give in, her grandmother’s face suddenly flashed into her mind.

She flinched and turned her head away from him. Quickly, she shook her head to refuse, leaving him visibly surprised by her reaction. freёnovelkiss.com

"Are you tired? We can take a bath together. We can do so much activity inside... You know what I mean, right, my little wife?" Sawyer excitedly suggested while teasing her lips with his thumb—rubbing it gently.

Abigail still refused. She took his hand, stopping him from continuing his attempts to seduce her, or she might seriously consider his offer while raising her blanket to cover her naked body.

She swallowed nervously before reminding him, "Sawyer, did you forget that we need to go to Orange Town?"

Instantly, Sawyer’s expression turned sour as he remembered their plan for the day: they were supposed to visit Orange Town to help Grandpa Philips meet Grandma Sophie. He disliked this plan, but he knew he couldn’t avoid it.

"Damn it! The old man is pissing me off. Why did he insist on going today? I tried to change his mind, but he still insisted!" Sawyer couldn’t help but vent his frustration while checking the digital watch on the bedside table.

They had planned to leave the house at seven and arrive in Orange Town before lunch. However, it was almost eight now, and they were still in bed.

Abigail followed him to check the digital watch. She was surprised to see the time. Tighten the blanket around her, she urged Sawyer to get up.

"We need to wake up now, Sawyer. It’s almost eight. We’re going to be late!" Abigail panicked. She tried to get out of bed after seeing him put on his pants.

However, her panicked expression changed abruptly when she felt a sharp pain in her inner thigh. "Arrgh..." she cried out in pain.

Sawyer stopped in his tracks, turned to see her, and noticed the distress on her face. Worried about her condition, he jumped back onto the bed and rushed to help her sit up, holding her hand.

"Abby, what happened? Are you in pain?" he asked, helping her sit on the edge of the bed.

"Hmmm... My thighs feel sore," Abigail smiled slightly at him. "Don’t worry; this will be alright." She knew this pain because this morning, they had been making love for a long time, and Sawyer had not given her a chance to rest.

"I’m sorry, Abby," Sawyer said, feeling sorry for pressuring her to make love several times, which caused her pain. He sat beside her, gently holding her hand.

"I’m really fine. You can take a shower first, Sawyer... I’ll take a shower after you," she replied, squeezing his hand tightly to reassure him that she was okay. Despite her words, she was still struggling to endure the pain in her lower body.

Sawyer didn’t stand up right away. He still felt terrible about hurting her.

"Hurry. We will be late if you don’t shower now. Otherwise, Grandpa Philips will come to this floor..." Abigail sighed deeply, imagining her impatient grandpa knocking on their bedroom door and urging them to leave for Orange Town.

"No, he won’t come to this house. Last night, we changed the plan. He will drive there with his people, and we will only meet them at that location," Sawyer explained, gently tapping her hands to soothe her worries.

"Did you give him Grandma’s address?" Abigail asked. She was concerned that her grandpa might become impatient while waiting for them and rush to meet Grandma before they arrived.

"Of course not. I asked him to wait at the Century Hotel. Once we arrive, I’ll call him to come to the nursing home."

"I understand, but we still need to hurry. It’ll take a long time to drive there..." Just the thought of a three-hour drive made her feel exhausted.

"No worries, we’ll take a helicopter." Sawyer stood up, smiling at her as he noticed her gasping in shock. "Abby, just wait here. I’ll fill the bathtub for you. You can soak in warm water, and we’ll have breakfast on the way to Orange Town."

Abigail said nothing but nodded. She wouldn’t stop him. He had plenty of money to rent a helicopter, or maybe he owned one. She no longer worried about arriving late in Orange Town but felt relaxed.

After seeing Sawyer enter the bathroom, she noticed how messy their bed was. The trace of their passionate early morning could be seen. The white sheets, once smooth, now looked crumpled and disordered.

When Abigail’s eyes fell on a stain of blood, her mind flashed back to the first time Sawyer entered her. The pain from that experience resurfaced, stirring her stomach. She quickly covered the stain with a pillow while gently patting her flushed cheeks.

"Gosh, how embarrassing..." she whispered shyly. But her face grew even warmer when she noticed her clothes scattered all over the floor.

’Geez, I need to clean this mess. It would be embarrassing if other people saw it...’

Abigail stood up to gather her clothes, but as soon as her foot hit the marble floor, it felt like hundreds of needles were pricking her skin.

’Geez! Why do people say making love feels good, like flying to seventh heaven? Why do I feel this pain? Is it just me?’ She silently vents her annoyance in her mind, trying to move.

But before she could take a step, a hand wrapped around her waist, and before she had a chance to turn back, she found herself in Sawyer’s arms.

"Abby, no need to clean up. Paul will take care of this room once we leave," he said, carrying Abigail in a princess-style hold as he walked toward the bathroom.
