Beastmen Love-Chapter 188: Duel of Giants

Freyd thinks Bono was audacious in bringing Astri to watch him be defeated, but he doesn’t care because he believes he will show his Queen that he’s the strongest of all.

"And he fell for it." Astri says.

"How can someone lack so much intelligence?" Claud asks.

"How can someone be so dumb, you say?" Kangki asks, chuckling.

"Attention. The main guest will now realize things." Astri says.

They look down again. Freyd was talking to Juno, then pointed in Astri’s direction. Juno looks at her, and Astri waves at him too. Juno looks at her for some time, then at Kangki and Claud, and then his eyes widen in surprise.

"There it is! Look at that face!" Astri laughs.

"King Freyd, you need to retreat and organize a better attack." Juno says to Freyd.

"What? Are you scared of this hole? We can pass if we don’t shift." Freyd asks.

"No. That female.. She’s not a common female. We need more power to take her."

"I know she’s not common. I’ve been telling you she’s perfect and she’s mine. She’s waiting for me to take her, and I’ll take her now!" Freyd says.

"You don’t understand.. We need to.."

They hear a loud roar in the sky, and then see Caris and Carist, Cyprian and Galion flying in the sky.

"I have dragons too." Freyd laughs, then roars, ordering the dragons to come forward and fight.

Four beastmen flew to face Cyprian, Caris and Carist, and Galion.

"Only this? I can take all of them down on my own." Carist smirks.

"Carist, remember that you need to take Juno afterwards. He already noticed Astri and is already trying to act on his own way." Cyprian says.

"I’ll make him remember." Caris answers.

"Go. Let’s give Juno the hope he can get me." Astri says to Claud and Kangki.

"Don’t you leave here, though." Kangki warns her.

"I won’t. Wait, what is the punishment for that?" She asks, with a playful smile.

"It’s serious. We will have you either way on separate days, it’s not a punishment."

"Aw.."

"I can punish you." Claud smiles.

"Hey! Don’t tempt her to do what she’s not supposed to do." Kangki says to Claud.

She sits on the guardrail to watch.

"Let’s see what they have." She says.

"I’ll go get you, my Queen!" Freyd screams at her.

She didn’t hear him, but she can imagine what she said. She only smiles back and waves.

"Oh, she’s so ready for me." Freyd says, and starts to jump on a dead spinosaurus to pass the trench.

He’s attacked by two raptors as he’s walking on the spinosaurs, but he punches and kicks them away. His warriors started to do the same to cross the trench and escape the raptors. Ian’s team could take down almost 30% of King Freyd’s army, and Bono is happy enough because they could bring the numbers down easily. Bono roars to Ian, calling Ian and his team back.

In no time, Ian was standing on his side.

"That was amazing. I thought you wouldn’t leave any for us." Bono says to Ian.

"I left the fattest meat for you. Don’t complain." Ian snorts.

"I appreciate."

"..Be careful. I know you can do it, but be careful."

"Thank you. I’ll be fine."

Bono roars to his warriors, and they run forward to fight the enemies. Juno clicks his tongue, then he decides to call for his Monsters by sending a loud roar.

"Yes!" Astri cheers.

He’s doing exactly what they were thinking he would do. Juno called his Monster to his side, leaving Freyd with less backup. Juno wants to run away, but from nowhere he hears Carist saying, landing behind him:

"Where are you planning to go, piece of mud?"

Juno attacks Caris and Carist, punching, kicking, and pushing them. Caris and Carist dodged and punched him back, then grabbed Juno’s long hair and flew away to throw him on the other side of the trench. Juno shifts into his beast form, making Caris and Carist need to let him go.

Caris and Carist don’t want to end Juno so fast, so they keep fighting in their half-shifted form. They know Astri asked them to defeat Juno, so the warriors see that they’re helping the tribe. However, Carist is seeing Juno as his new toy.

Freyd and Bono finally face each other. Freyd is looking at Bono with a murderous look.

"I need to say that you’re brave to do this, but you’re too stupid. You did all this to keep Astri only for yourself. Now I’ll have to kill you. What is that staff? Are you an Elder, and I didn’t know?" Freyd says, and asks with a smirk.

"I’m not doing this only for her. It’s for the Dinosaurs. You will end with all Dinosaurs’ existence because you’re too blind with your love for power. And this is a symbol. A symbol of resistance and of who I am." Bono says.

"Fine. I’ll use it to hold your head when I kill you at the center of your tribe."

Freyd sends a kiss to Astri. She pretends that she’s taking the kiss and putting it on her lips, making Freyd’s eyes shine brighter with eagerness.

"He’s all yours, Bono. Don’t forget.." Astri says in his mind.

"Think differently." He says, preparing himself.

Freyd got confused with what he said, but ignored it right after to get prepared too. They circle each other until Freyd makes the first move. Bono dodges and then hits his spear’s blade on Freyd’s face.

Freyd feels the blood on his face, then licks it, like trying to make sure it was his blood. He growls, livid.

"Now you will make me dirty her beautiful white skin with my blood! Now I can kiss her delicious body!" Freyd angrily roars, then runs to attack Bono again.

"Sick bastard! She won’t ever let you touch her anymore!" Bono growls back, swinging the spear again, and Freyd grabs both of his hands.

"It is you whom she won’t ever let touch you. You didn’t see her potential until I announced her as my Queen." Freyd says, as they keep holding the spear with all their strength.

Bono can feel that Freyd is stronger than him, so he lets Freyd pull the spear and falls back a little. To keep on his feet, Freyd had to change his stance, opening his back a little, and that was enough for Bono to jump on his back and grab his neck.

That’s when two of Freyd’s warriors appeared to attack Bono. Bono had to let go of Freyd to protect his own back, but before he could fight the other enemies, five raptors appeared. Ian jumped on one of them, stabbing his long claws into the enemy’s chest. Ian didn’t waste time to charge at his throat and kill him before he shifted.

Ian could kill one, but the other shifted. Ian and his other raptors circled the spinosaurs and together fought him. Bono smiles, grateful for Ian’s attitude, because now he can focus on Freyd again.

"Coward. Can’t fight alone?" Bono asks Freyd.

Freyd throws the spear far away, angry.

"You don’t stand a chance against me. I have 5 more marks than you." Freyd says.

"But I have 5 times more intelligence than you."

Freyd roars angrily and then attacks Bono. They exchange punches, kicks, and pushes. Bono lost his balance when Freyd tackled him. Freyd grabs Bono’s neck and presses it against the ground.

Freyd chuckles, forcing Bono to the ground and seeing him trying to grab something.

"See? You’re nothing. And guess who’s watching? I’m showing her that I’m the strongest. Look at her watching me kill you." Freyd says in Bono’s ear.

Bono looks at Astri. She points to her head, reminding him to think differently again. He sees his spear far from them on their front, and with his last breath, he decides to shift. His beast form has the same color as his skin tone, his eye color is also the same, and he has some beige stripes on his back.

Freyd jumped from his back and landed on the ground.

"That’s better. Now you gave me the victory!" Freyd laughs and then shifts too, showing a big black tyrannosaur.

The two tyrannosaurus run and tackle each other. Freyd is a big bigger than Bono is in his beast form, but Bono is a bit faster. Bono makes space between them, beating his long and big tail on Freyd’s face.

Freyd tries to bite Bono’s tail when he Bono tries to swing it at him again, but he couldn’t so he just charges at Bono, trying to tackle down knowing that when tyrannosaur falls it’s the end because they have a hard time to stand up again and if they decide to shift back human form is a big opening to be simply literally eaten.
