Unparalleled Evolution: I became the lord of the Silver Legion
Chapter 6 - Six: Evolvers Channel
Chapter Six: Evolvers Channel
"The Silver King’s Suit currently has seven abilities and one legacy power.
<1. Silver Tracking: You can locate all Silver Legion Suits across any distance through resonance signals.
<2. Silver Command Authority: You have the authority to communicate with all Silver units and override the command of their pilots.>
<3. Combat Simulation: You can analyse enemy movement patterns and simulate them for learning.>
<4. Silver Shield: You can generate a defensive field spanning five metres for 120 seconds, shielding out energy or environmental threats. (Cooldown: 12 hrs).>
<5. Multi-Terrain Mobility: It grants you a movement adaptation across different environments.>
<6. Quantum Perception: Temporarily increases your perception speed, reaction timing, and spatial awareness. (One use per day).>
<7. Silver Reconstruction: It allows you to partially regenerate or restructure damaged Suit components using silver particles.>
<Legacy Power: Silver Dominion: Allows you to unleash a high-tier authority field that asserts dominance over all Silver Legion members within range. It grants you the ability to instantaneously activate, deactivate, merge, or absorb the energy of allied Suit systems.>
Note: The Suit is currently damaged and some abilities are inactive or limited. To fully repair the Suit, Master is advised to find Moonlight Crystals."
Valen had to listen to Alex’s message several more times before he was certain this wasn’t a joke.
Too broken! The powers of this Suit were just too strong. Valen had naturally seen power Suits before. In fact, his swordsman’s personalised equipment that the Humanity System wanted him to pick up two hours later was one such thing.
However, the functions of other power Suits compared to the Silver King Suit were a joke. That Multi-Terrain function, in particular, meant that he could traverse vertical walls and glide through the air for a short while. In fact, in any terrain, whether on land or at sea, he wouldn’t face much of a disadvantage.
Back then, his father had only gotten a Silver General Suit and he had been able to slay a dragon. With his Silver King legacy, on the other hand, he might achieve even more. Going into the abyss later may not be a sure-death situation for him.
"Alex, I know of someone who had once gotten a Silver General Legacy. Similar to my Silver Tracking, his Suit could locate 100 silver Suits and he had also inherited the memories of being trained by the ancients. Do I also get such a benefit? If yes, then start the inheritance immediately." Valen licked his lips, feeling anticipation.
Compared to the functions and legacy power of the Silver Suit, this was the most important benefit he sought. If he could get his hands on that memory, his strength would increase drastically, and his chances of venturing into the abyss would rise significantly.
Suddenly, a click echoed from the silver Suit as a metallic liquid crawled from his neck, covering his entire face. A moment later, it congealed, transforming into a silver helmet over Valen’s head.
Just then, Alex’s voice sounded; "Loading saved memories..."
Before Valen could react, the helmet began to glow as it emitted a white mist, covering his eyes. From within the mist, a solemn voice began to speak as a video began to play.
It narrated the life of a young man living in the mountains with his guardian. After his guardian’s death, he departed for the cities. He fought against bandits, experienced being chased for days to be captured, successfully escaping and arriving at the imperial capital.
He got new friends, grew stronger, let his name resound throughout the world, until the day a spatial rift occurred, releasing a massive wave of monsters into the world.
People died and nothing could be done. Out of desperation, he signed up for a special training personally carried out by the council of Sages.
At that moment, the solemn voice stopped narrating and a video began to play. The mist around Valen glowed as it played the video, causing him to feel like he was personally there.
The training hadn’t included only the young man. There were more than a thousand other people. Valen saw the arduous training they experienced, until 310 people were chosen out of thousands and bestowed with Power Suits.
These people were the Silver Legion! There were 1 Silver King, 3 Generals, 6 commanders, and 300 soldiers.
The young man was chosen as the Silver King and Valen watched his journeys throughout the land. He also saw the frightening might of Sages.
At times, Valen would shiver whenever the young man experienced a near-death situation. At other times, he would laugh when he saw the young man’s hilarious endeavours.
Regardless, as he continued to watch, Valen gained a lot. The training the Silver King experienced was especially helpful.
Soon, the video came to an end and the mist vanished. A dazed expression lingered on Valen’s face for a while, but he gradually came to his senses.
"It’s incomplete?" he muttered uncertainly. The video hadn’t narrated or displayed how the Silver King had died. It only showed that there was an internal dispute between the Sages and they fell out.
Valen sighed, shaking his head. Then, he commanded; "Alex, return to normal."
Immediately, the metallic liquid began to retract until it became a Silver Box once more. Valen closed his eyes to assimilate everything he had gained from that inheritance.
He felt like he had gotten significantly stronger and wanted to test it out. However, there were no monsters or Evolvers at his level that he could spar with.
If he tried sparring with his sister, he would only be asking for a beating as she was far stronger than him. This made him remember something crucial.
Tapping on his Silver Watch, he went straight to his inbox. As expected, he saw a new message. It was from the Evolvers’ Association.
[Congratulations, Night Star on a successful evolution. Tap the link below this message to access the World Wide Evolvers’ Channel. PS: The link expires in 10 minutes.]
’As expected,’ Valen thought.
The Evolvers’ Channel was a secret network that could only be accessed once someone evolved. The Evolvers Association possessed a privilege that allowed them to access the Humanity System and identify all newly evolved individuals around the world.
Once a person underwent the Evolution Path assessment and passed it, their basic information would be sent to the Evolvers Association, signifying their successful evolution.
Following that, they would receive an invitation link to join the Evolvers’ Channel. Every link was incredibly precious, as it could only be accessed by a single person. Furthermore, each link had an expiration time, after which it would no longer function.
The individual would then have to wait anywhere from ten days to a month before reapplying for a new link. The message containing the link was also encrypted and could not be forwarded to others.
Thus, only Evolvers could access it through their Silver Watch.
Valen hurriedly tapped the link to access the Evolvers’ Network. A blue screen then popped up before him as his Silver Watch let out a notification.

[Welcome to the Evolvers Channel.]
Immediately, the blue screen before Valen’s eyes became flooded with messages.
<Did anyone else see the black fog near the Bottomless Canyon last night?>
<The guy above isn’t the only one. I suspect there’s a Level 60 Commander-class flying dinosaur there. After all, the Bottomless Canyon is one of the dinosaurs’ habitats.>
<To think someone actually got an SSS-grade rating in the southern district! The system announcement really caught me off guard.>
<Searching for party members to team up and raid the new haven: Black Ruin Castle? Only Level 0.10 and above accepted. Must have at least three pieces of Common Equipment.>

< Crown Prince Hisham has successfully forged an alliance with the New Life Star System. Greenfield Planet’s rise is almost certain. >
< Minister Mahir just reported the discovery of a new, unidentified lifeform beyond the Level 80 restricted region of the Purple Expanse. >
Valen stared at the rows of words before him, his lips twitching. The constant beep from the Silver Watch also reminded him of the fact that he needed to get a new System Relay.
Glancing at the time and seeing it was 10 a.m., Valen decided to go meet his grandpa and sister. After that, he would go and get his 50 purple coins, which he would then use to break past level 0.10.
By then, his strength would also undergo a qualitative change. After that, he changed into a new set of clothes and glanced at his reflection in the mirror.
Fair skin, sleek black hair, and pitch-black eyes. A bit handsome, but not to the point of standing out wherever one goes.
Valen exited his room and went downstairs after securely hiding the Silver Box. He passed by several workers of the household who greeted him with smiles.
As soon as he stepped into the living room, however, a black shadow flew his way, sending him toppling to the ground.
"Haven’t I told you that you’re already grown? Why still act childish, Aaliyah?" Valen said helplessly as he pushed the elegant lady dressed in black away.
Aaliyah pouted, her face showing discontent. "I’ve been gone for so long, and you don’t even miss me?"
"It’s not that, it’s just... never mind. It’s good to see you once again." Valen sighed, shaking his head. He found it hopeless to continue admonishing her.
Aaliyah leaned in, whispering: "Grandpa Hamza said he gave you that thing. How did it go?"
Valen smiled softly and nodded. "You can say it’s a success."
"I really didn’t judge wrongly this time around." At that moment, Grandpa Hamza walked in with a smile on his face.
"Are you trying to say I’m a failure, Grandpa?" Aaliyah said with mock anger in her tone.
Grandpa Hamza nodded with a serious expression on his face. "I indeed judged wrongly last time."
"Grandpa!" Aaliyah stomped her foot, gritting her teeth.
Following which was a conversation about the Astral Veil and its dangers. Valen listened with rapt attention as Aaliyah and Grandpa Hamza described how their first time at the Astral Veil had been.
Without him noticing, time swiftly flew by and soon, Grandpa Hamza and Aaliyah declared their intentions to leave.
They planned on returning to the Astral Veil, as they had been on an important exploration of a ruin from an ancient civilisation. They had only chosen to return because they wanted to congratulate Valen in person and also to give him the Silver Box.
Meanwhile, Valen decided to head to the nearest system store, as more than two hours had already passed.
Standing before a two-storey building, Valen glanced around before entering. A bustling sight greeted him as everyone purchased what they wanted behind automated counters.
Valen similarly approached a counter and a menu displaying various weapons, equipment, and utility items popped up before him.
’Wow. So many...’ Valen subconsciously gulped.
However, he shook his head to snap out of it. He inputted his ID into the counter and a token fell from it, prompting a system notification.
[Identity confirmed. Head to second floor to claim your parcels.]
Valen nodded, picking up the fallen token and immediately heading to the second floor. This wasn’t his first time witnessing the process of receiving a system parcel.
Moreover, he was excited to head to the second floor. The items sold there were two to three times more beneficial to Evolvers.
However, to buy things from the second floor, one must have at least a thousand points. If it wasn’t for his rewarded points, he wouldn’t even have the qualifications to enter the second floor.
When he stepped into the second floor of the system store, he felt something about his surroundings change, but he couldn’t put his finger on it.
"Greetings. Are you Mr. Valen?" A young man approached Valen with a smile on his face.
Valen nodded, flashing the token at the young man.
"Then, I’m relieved. Here’s your parcel." The young man handed Valen a black case and a brown pouch.
"Thanks." Valen accepted the parcel, his eyes gleaming as he glanced around.
There were significantly fewer counters on the second floor, and Valen approached one of them. Calling out a display menu, his gaze swept through some of the items listed on it.

Valen’s lips twitched violently. He felt incredibly poor.
’Why is the minimum amount to enter the second floor even 1,000 points?’
Valen felt like cursing.
