She tossed it back on the rack. Then she snatched up a dark blue skirt covered in white ribbons.

"That is even better." Adrian clapped his hands. "You are so incredibly adorable that every single thing will suit you perfectly"

Aria just giggled and continued tossing clothes around. The shop attendants rushed over with measuring tapes and soft chalk. They carefully measured her shoulders, her waist, and her arms. Adrian just stood there and praised every single choice she made.

They stayed inside that premium clothing store for two to three whole hours until Aria eventually got tired of looking at the clothes. So Adrian decided it was time for a break.

"Let’s get a room at an inn." Adrian told her.

He grabbed Aria by the hand and left the shop. Finding a good inn didn’t take much time since he already knew where it was. He slapped a bunch of silver coins on the lobby counter, secured their absolute best suite, and walked her upstairs.

He pushed the door open.

"Why don’t you wait right here?" Adrian said. "I have some extremely boring things to do."

Aria nodded. She walked right up onto the massive mattress.

"Okay papa. I will just meditate and wait for you."

Adrian turned around and headed for the exit. But right as he reached the doorframe, he dropped his voice.

"Watch the perimeter." Adrian whispered "Keep her safe."

Lorcan was hiding perfectly in the shadows and did not make a single sound to confirm the order. But Adrian knew his assassin was there.

Adrian walked out of the inn and headed straight back to the premium clothing store.

Claire and Serena were still standing near the expensive fabric rolls when he walked in.

"Okay." Adrian said as he approached them. "Now we need to actually get a custom dress made for Aria."

"Yeah." Claire agreed.

"Based on what I have seen today," Adrian rubbed his chin. "And based on the choices she made while looking at the racks, she does not like bright colors for some reason. She kept putting the bright yellow and pink dresses back. So we will have to pick dark colors for her birthday dress."

The two women nodded.

"Why do you not pick something like violet?" Claire suggested. "Or maybe a deep purple... like a dark velvet purple. That always looks elegant."

Adrian thought about it for a second. "Well, that sounds really nice."

Serena stepped slightly closer. "Why not just go with black?"

Adrian looked at the Duke’s daughter.

"It is a classic color." Serena explained, her voice as soft as usual. "And black goes extremely well with a lot of other accent colors."

Claire crossed her arms and nodded slowly. "She has a good point. Black does go well with almost everything, and I personally really love the combination of black and red."

"Okay, fine." Adrian smiled. "Let us go with black and red."

He turned away from the girls and walked straight up to the owner of the store. The old man was currently organizing a pile of measuring tapes.

"I need the absolute best dress made for my daughter." Adrian told the shopkeeper. "You already have all of her exact measurements from earlier. And I want you to use the absolute best fabric you can possibly find in this city."

The shopkeeper smiled proudly. "We have imported silk from the capital, my lord."

"Wait." Adrian held up a hand. "I will actually provide the fabric myself."

He did not wait for the old man to respond.

Adrian closed his eyes and used his Dungeon Link skill right then and there. He then looked at the 1500 cows from a top view.

’System.’ Adrian commanded in his mind. ’Harvest the hair from all of those cows.’

He did not need to kill the animals to get their resources. He just needed the soft, luxurious fur growing on top of their hides. And because the dungeon environment was perfectly regulated by the system, the temperature was always flawless. The cows would not suffer from any coldness or weather issues after losing their coats. It would not impact their health or their breeding cycles in any way.

The system instantly executed his command.

Tons of silky, premium cow hair was magically sheared and teleported directly into his storage rooms.

’Now clean it.’ Adrian ordered.

The system washed the raw hair, stripping away all the dirt and natural oils in a fraction of a second.

Adrian opened his eyes. He reached into his coat pocket, and pulled out a small handful of the freshly cleaned magical hair.

He placed the bundle of soft white fibers right on the wooden counter.

"Will this work to make a fabric?" Adrian asked.

The tailor picked the bundle up. He rolled the weirdly smooth fibers between his thumb and index finger. And then, he raised his eyebrows before looking up at Adrian.

"I can certainly make you a fabric out of this." the shopkeeper said in pure awe. "But that will take time and if we consider making a dress too, then we won’t be able to finish the project in time. On top of that, I will also need your input on the actual design of the dress."

Adrian leaned against the counter.

The two of them completely nerded out over clothing manufacturing. They went into insane details about different stitching patterns, talked about the best weaving methods to twist that loose animal fur into strong threads.

Adrian listened as the tailor broke down details about the exact loom tension needed to make the cloth have a sort of breathing effect.

Then the topic switched to washing. They laid out the exact steps to take the stiffness out, lock in a natural shine, and keep the material incredibly tough while it’s also smooth so it didn’t scratch the skin.

Adrian basically just stood there and listened. Because he honestly had absolutely zero clue how the tailoring industry actually worked.

"Got it." Adrian nodded as he listened to all the free trade secrets.

He learned everything he possibly could from the experienced tailor and gave the system access to all of this information in his head. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

’System.’ Adrian thought. ’Store all these weaving methods and softening techniques.’
