Lukas was now very much certain that he had to give an autograph after the system pinged him, but he was not sure why.

" I am a huge fan. I watched your game yesterday, you were superb." The young woman excitedly said she was holding a pen and a paper.

" Oh! You are from my college, right"? Lukas asked, then looked at Annie, who was looking at him weirdly.

"Well, I play baseball in college, not that big of a deal," Lukas explained to Annie, then grabbed the pen and paper to give an autograph because the system is giving him money for it.

" What do you mean? I am certain you'll be in MLB in no time," the girl who just came said excitedly.

" Well, if she says you must be great," Annie said, and then with a chuckle took a sip from the glass of water in front of her.

Lukas just shook his head, then signed the paper and gave it back with the pen. The girl left happily, on the other hand, the atmosphere between Lukas and Annie became a little awkward.

"You should ask for people's names when they want an autograph," Annie said. She was looking like she was controlling her laughter.

" Well, you can laugh, I have never done this before. That's why I just did what I could," Lukas just casually said. He was just feeling a little sad because he might have lost some money.

" Sorry, hehe, I wanted to help you out, but you were too eager to sign that." Annie laughed a little, and then the atmosphere turned a little comfortable for both of them.

"Sir, here's your burger and beer." The waiter came in and put down the orders and left.

Lukas then took a plate and placed it in front of Annie, then gave her a beer.

"W...well, this burger looks good."Annie was actually surprised how delicious this burger looked.

It took time for Annie to finish up the burger because she was eating very ladylike with small bites. Lukas was just sipping his beer while talking with her.

The total bill was $19.26. Lukas just gave $25 with tip and left. As they were walking back to their cars, Lukas felt he should ask her to stay, but he was very confused on how.

Annie was smiling, but as she was going towards her car, she was getting irritated because things were going great and she didn't want to get back home this soon, she was enjoying Lukas's company.

As Lukas was very confused about how to make her stay longer, he saw a poster, a movie poster. It was the 'X-Men' movie, which was premiering at AMC MarketFair 10, which was just a few blocks away.

" H... Hey, how about a movie"? Lukas asked nervously, and Annie immediately turned around as she was walking ahead a little.

"Sure, let's go for a movie," Annie just said yes directly.

Lukas smiled and then pointed at the poster. Annie looked, and seeing the weird poster, she was not sure if she wanted to watch this particular movie, which looked gross and not romantic at all.

" Let's walk there, it's a couple of blocks away, and I am very full," Annie said. She wanted to spend more time with Lukas, and walking there would give them time for some small talk.

" Alright, I am stuffed as well, let's walk." Lukas readily agreed, as he was also searching for an opportunity to spend more time together.

As they were walking, the sun was going down and the streets were very calm. There were some people around, but not that many. The quietness of the surroundings felt nice, and both of them didn't talk, they only enjoyed each other's company.

Unknowingly, they reached the theater. Lukas smiled at Annie, who also smiled back because both of them, although quiet, could feel each other.

Lukas grabbed her hand when they were about to enter the theater. Annie was first shocked and then smiled broadly. She didn't resist, on the contrary, she held his hand tight.

The tickets were $10 each, and luckily they got a very good seat. Annie was not sure she wanted to watch the movie, but Lukas said it was a very good movie, so she trusted him.

" Lukas, Have you watched this movie already"? Annie asked as Lukas was saying how good this movie was.

"No, but my friends in the college were praising it highly, so why not give it a shot?" Lukas said, as he knows how good this movie will be. In his last life, the 'X-Men' series was his favorite, even the comics were very good.

"Alright, let's see if your friends were right." Annie chuckled and then sat down beside Lukas.

Lukas, after sitting down, grabbed Annie's hand again, and the movie started. The action-packed movie was very good, the audience was enjoying it. Even Annie was stunned when she saw the powers each man and woman possessed in the film. \

" It's fascinating. I didn't know this movie was this good," Annie said while they were walking out of the theater. It was only intermission, and she was hooked.

Lukas took her to the concession stand. Annie grabbed a candy box as soon as she reached the stand and then looked at Lukas. Lukas smiled and ordered two small popcorns and two colas.

After paying, they returned to the theater. The movie was great, Lukas loved it. He felt like he watched the movie for the first time as well because of Annie's reaction.

Annie was fascinated by the character 'Magneto', she was wondering if she could play a role like that in the future.

" Well, in the comic there's a similarly powerful, if not more so, female character called Jean Grey, you could play that role," Lukas said, as he knows there'll be more 'X-Men' movies in the future.

"Eh? Really? I am very motivated to give some auditions now."Annie closed both her fists and really looked motivated.

" I hope you get a fantastic movie,"Lukas said, then opened the car door for her. She wanted to return to her home and skip dinner, as she was dieting.

" Thank you. Call me when you get free time. I really enjoyed our time today." Annie, saying this, smiled and left in her red car.
