Chapter 148: Chapter 148; We apologize Sixth Master Huo

"Don’t worry, I won’t say anything about that!" He snatched a few grapes from her bowl and sat there enjoying them.

"Why aren’t you working with your Master? What is he up to? Or he is in a meeting?" She didn’t have any information about his itinerary and what he was up to for the day. She also didn’t want to monitor him but he always had Huo Wu with him all the time.

"He went to the military academy camp!" He didn’t add much, as all those other details would just make her faint. He would just briefly tell her.

"He went? Did he really want to punish my babies? They are already having a hard time back at the military academy, how dare he?" She placed both of her legs down and suddenly hissed painfully. She had forgotten that her legs hadn’t healed completely.

"Not that! He wanted to check up on them since they hung up on you! Don’t worry, I don’t think he would really punish them. He doesn’t have a heart to." It was good to be clueless, as she would have requested him to take her over to the military academy and personally check.

"Ooohh!" She gently tapped on her chest, calming herself down, and went back to eating her grapes while Huo Wu assisted her.

"Mommy, we are lucky we met such good employees, now, I can easily join the military academy without having you struggle and strain, I can model and earn pocket money, the money you earned, you can keep it and take care of yourself, buy some nice clothes, don’t worry about the house, I will save enough to buy a nice villa." He tightly hugged his mother.

He could be fourteen years old but was mature, and his mind had developed. He knew what he needed and wanted, and on top of that, he was glad to hear some good news about his twin sister.

"Yeah! Let’s arrange this place." Seeing her son so happy meant the world to her. Nothing else mattered.

"Yes, Momma." And just like that, they began arranging the room even though it was clean and had everything; they would probably move some hospital machines that had been left there into the other adjacent room where other machines had been kept.

Sixth, Master Huo, who had gotten over to the military academy, walked over to the disciplinary room while the Director and other people trailed behind him, trying to explain and also flatter him to receive some favors.

He could see those brats chatting around like they hadn’t done anything wrong.

"Daddy...." They rushed over and lunged at him happily. They haven’t seen him for thirty-plus days. They had missed him.

He picked two of them up, kissing their cheeks before placing them on the tall table, hugged the other one, and placed him on the table; the only person who was standing at the place they were at was Minghao; she had her head bowed, but he could see that bruised face.

He walked over and picked her up before sitting down on the seat and letting her sit on the table, checking her out from head to toe. She was bruised and, in other places, seemed to be a reoccurrence of dark marks.

His heart ached to see her like this, he always knew her to be a little bit soft-spoken, and with a lot happening, it felt like it was time to hire a psychologist for her and go through therapy sessions.

He dragged her into his arms and tightly hugged her. "Bring them all over here... They have to pay!" How could they treat her like this? He wasn’t going to forgive them.

"We told you! We killed them, you just need to buy a burial ground for them, and also compensate their parents, plus also, they need to compensate our sister for everything." Zhihao spoke up nonchalantly leaving everyone present speechless. It’s like they have just killed some flies and not humans.

"You did good!" He coldly harrumphed as he hugged Minghao in his arms. With all that had been happening, she fell asleep, for the entire month, she was afraid of putting her guard down.

"Sixth Master Huo, those boys’ families are here..." The Assistant Director got into the disciplinary room leading them over.

"I want to see those brats who beat my son up to this state, they have to pay heavily!" The women were stomping into the disciplinary room with fury, but when they saw Sixth Master Huo seated there, they immediately coiled back. How could they question him? Looking at those boys and the girl bundled up in his arms, they immediately knew their kids had messed up with the wrong person.

"I will pay you some compensation, but why should I pay when my daughter has been bullied to this extent for the entire month? Do you know her entire body is insured? Any part that gets hurt, the person would have to pay a hundred million dollars; I will go over to the insurance company, let them do a thorough medical checkup on her, and then we can negotiate!" His words were straight to the point. He didn’t need to beat around the bush.

"We apologize, Sixth Master Huo... We will discipline them and make sure they don’t have time to disturb your family! They won’t appear in front of your kids." They froze there gawking at him nervously. If the kid got harmed all over the body, they would have to cough up to a billion dollars; where were they going to find such an amount of money? It was impossible to challenge this man of power.

"That’s good that we are on the same page! Director, I will take the girl home, you three, don’t cause any more trouble for me and your mother! Zhihao, why did you hang up on your mother?" He turned around and seriously glared at him. How could he make her unhappy?
