The rest of the Zhangs must have planned before hand because when they arrived in the living room, everyone was already there, including Zhang An, surprisingly.

Nobody commented when they noticed her sitting on Caishen's laps. The elders, in fact smiled greatly approving of these actions. Grandma An had the funniest reaction because she made her hands dance in the air.

"Hello everyone." Alix greeted in a soft voice.

She tried to get up but Caishen would not let her. She smiled at everyone, a bit awkwardly and turned her head to him, shooting him with a fierce gaze.

"Let go." she mouthed.

It was embarrassing to sit like this around the elders.

He crinkled his nose and shook his head.

"I won't." he mouthed back.

"Are you crazy?" she slapped at his hands gently.

"Do you two need us to give you the room?" Yura asked.

"No." She answered.

"Yes." He answered.

Alix looked at Caishen in disbelief. The man had lost his mind!

She looked at her mother-in-law and said, "He is joking." She added some strength into her arms and escaped Caishen's tight hold her waist. Without going far, she sat down next to him.

Immediately, Majesty that had been sitting by the window jumped onto the closest chair and walked over to her. The cat made itself comfortable on her laps.

Meow, it cried out.

"Did you bring anything back for me human?"

She patted the cat's fur and nodded. "I brought you lots of good things Majesty."

Meow, it cried out again.

"Your husband's cat keeps stealing my meat."

Alix blinked and stared at Caishen who was looking at her. "Tell your baby to stop stealing my Majesty's beef jerky."

Boldly, Caishen replied, "My baby is a blessed cat with millions in her account. That beef jerky of ten thousand yuan a jar, she can afford one thousand jars."

Twice more, the cat had accidentally helped him buy very good stocks so, he opened an account for it as well.

Loudly, and unexpectedly, it was Zhang Bo that reacted first. "You opened up an account for your cat!" he exclaimed. "What kind of cat slave maniac are you?"

"Cat dad." Caishen corrected.

"Okay, am I the only one who thinks this is ridiculous?" he asked loudly.

Xiaobo who was inching closer and closer to Alix every passing minute by going from the arms of one relative to another said, "I have an account too dad, you opened it for me."

"You are my human child, it's different." Zhang Bo told him. "Sister-in-law, surely you think this is ridiculous."

Alix stared at him helplessly because Majesty was meowing in protest now. He wanted what the dumb baby had. He called Caishen's cat dumb baby because it was what Alix called it.

"Why is that cat crying?" grandma Zhang asked Alix.

"It sounds hungry. Is it hungry?" Yura sked her.

Baby chose that moment to make an entrance in her brand new expensive collar with a diamond star shaped pendant in the middle.

Majesty was suddenly unhappy to see her and he hissed at her. The hairs on his body stood up and his claws sharpened.

"Oh, Majesty, calm down. I will give you everything." Alix told it. She patted the cat's belly and back gently.

"Keep him away from my baby." Caishen told her. He scooped up his baby and hid her in his arms. Alix's cat looked to be quite unhinged right now.

Zhang Bo pointed at his brother and said loudly, "This, this is what I am talking about. Look at that cat's collar! How much is that thing?"

Zhang An sighed and leaned back in the chair. Everything was suddenly so chaotic at home. You had hissing animals and a lot more noise than usual. Their house used to be quiet and orderly.

She didn't even consider all the temper tantrums which she threw regularly as chaos. She did agree with Zhang Bo however on the fact that their brother was wasting so much money on a street cat which Alix had picked and gifted him with.

But, she loved showing off so she would take a picture of Baby later and share it on her social media platforms. Or perhaps light entertainment could start a page and promote Baby, the rich cute cat.

If it was famous enough, it could model for cat food companies, pet stores and appear in movies at a fee. Zhang An looked at Baby with renewed interest.

Her eyes trailed to Majesty, the golden cat. This one had even more potential because of it's striking appearance. And when it cried, sometimes it almost sounded human. An additional bonus was that it could understand human words according to her grandmother. If it could be trained, then it would be better than some B list actors out there.

Maybe, a cat live broadcast would be a good idea and both cats would be the stars.

Zhang An got her phone and saved up the idea which were running through her mind.

On the tv, the let's get physical theme song started playing and most eyes turned towards the television. By the time they started sharing images and names of the contestants, Xiaobo had successfully made it to Alix's side and he was leaning against her contently much to the minor chagrin of his father. The two were sharing a plate of spring rolls.

"Aunt, that's you." Xiaobo pointed to the tv.

"You look cool." grandma Zhang told her.

Alix smiled as she received more compliments from all around. Her phone buzzed and she received texts from her friends who were also watching.

As expected, the show was spiced up immediately, introducing conflict immediately after the competitors of this season were introduced.

"Wow, you got into an argument with Bi Meng even before the show started. You sure know how to attract haters, her fans are unkind online."

When Pang Ji De stepped in, Caishen looked at Alix unhappily. "Why is he coming to your defense?" Did she have to look so pretty and smile beautifully?

She shrugged in response. "Maybe he doesn't like Bi Meng."

As the show continued airing, everyone continued to comment and they laughed when Pang Ji De called her a cat lady.

Zhang Bo was the happiest and he told her, "Sister-in-law, you are going to be remembered as the cat lady online forever."

That first episode was ended when they started the first task of unstacking tires. Forty minutes had gone by so quickly and everyone was entertained so much that they wanted to see more.
