The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband-Chapter 337: Blackthorn’s castle
Chapter 337: Blackthorn’s castle
"I understand but it was thanks to that mark I could find you. A part of my magic is trapped in it, just so you know no matter where you go I will find you." He added in a serious tone. She nervously gulped.
Was that a good thing or a bad thing? "Then why do you bother using the chain." She asked him.
"It saves me time to search for you," Cedric answered. He was able to track Abrielle after his encounter with Azrael. Azrael said he knew where she was, and it was true he could sense her, but it was shrouded by another power.
He guessed it was a witch manipulation to make it hard for the slaves to be tracked. The mark was mysterious it made him feel her emotions and pain at times. It was a link between them he didn’t want to sever.
Cedric was able to overcome the obstacles by accepting himself completely.
"Are you not scared of telling these secrets?" Cedric raised his head releasing his hold on her as he broke out of her embrace.
"The least the best I can do is to let you know the monster you are truly married to." He replied, she didn’t like the way his tone seemed.
"Let’s go out for a breath." He suggested. He stood up his gaze going to the window. "It must have been stuffy staying in one room."
"I need to change my outfit first. Can you get the maids?" Abrielle requested. There was no way she could go out in the simple dress she was wearing. She has a reputation as a princess.
Cedric raised the coat he had taken out earlier and she got the message.

It was a few hours after dusk, the knights were still patrolling the perimeter. Abrielle stopped out of the castle from the side entrance that was closer to the stables.
Her fingers were intertwined with Cedric’s fingers. She felt he was too paranoid because there was no way she could run when he made it clear that escape was impossible.
The coat she was wearing was two times her size and obviously Cedric’s coat. It was black in colour, not a big shocker with some gold touches.
The weather was cold, but with Cedric’s thick clothes, she felt cosy in his coat. They walked past a group of knights jogging in the night. They paid their respects to the royal couple. Abrielle came to notice something: there were more Knights here than at the seaside castle. freeωebnovēl.c૦m
"There are more knights here." She casually mentioned. Something about the way they were felt romantic, holding hands while walking under the stars. It wasn’t reality though.
The princess just had an overly paranoid husband who has every right to be paranoid. "This is Blackthorn’s castle, miles away from Vitalis and the headquarters of the Shadows Knight base. This is where I train every knight recruited under me. The king has no idea of its existence." Cedric explained.
Abrielle nodded, she understood why there were so many knights around. The air was misty and smelled like grass and some alluring like pollen. They walked down a stone path to the stables lit with fire torches at the sides.
The closer they approached the stable, the louder the horses’ sound got. She didn’t know where Cedric was talking her to but it felt good to get outside. Earlier, she realized all her bruises and scars from her captivity were gone. She had a feeling it wasn’t a regular physician doing it but the man beside her.
"Wait here," Cedric said once, they got to the door; he gave her a lingering gaze as if warning her not to run off. This was truly funny.
Once the prince arrived a stable boy approached him. Abrielle didn’t hear what Cedric and the boy spoke about because she was a bit far. After they were done he went deeper into the dimly lit stable.
Abrielle’s eyes darted from the stable to observe the castle’s environment. It seemed like it was hidden somewhere deep in the mountains, her guts told her that there was also a protective barrier around the perimeter.
"It looks more beautiful under the sunlight." She heard his deep magnetic voice close to her ears. She was a bit startled because she was so engrossed in the view she didn’t sense him coming.
"Cedric," she gasped as she turned around. "You look like you just saw a ghost." He joked as she pouted. A horse neighed drawing her attention. It was Cedric’s black horse, Midnight. He was obsessed with the colour black.
"Stop joking around. Maybe you should let me come out when the sun is out."
"I will try to make time but I supervise the training during the day." Hearing his answer, her eyes sparkled.
"Can I watch the training session?" She requested Cedric didn’t like how excited she was about it. Abrielle’s mind was not completely pure, she was interested in watching Knights train shirtless. That would be a scene, she wondered if Cedric trained the same way.
"I don’t like the mischievous look you have in your eyes," Cedric stated, taking her hands as he helped her up Midnight. He was a tall horse and more obedient than she expected.
The horse grunted once the princess was on it. Even his horse didn’t like her but had no choice but to be nice since Cedric was here.
Cedric didn’t give her the reins, he used it to pull Midnight out of the stable. There was only one horse prepared when they were two. She guessed it would take a while before he could relax around her.
"I don’t look mischievous." She argued and he rolled his eyes. She saw it through that mask.
"You just want to see them train shirtless." Cedric hit the nail on the head. There was no response from her; his eyes narrowed at her, and she averted her eyes.
"Abrielle don’t look away. Why do you want to see other shirtless men when you are married?" He asked with a cold voice.
She still didn’t look at him. "I didn’t say that you are the one assuming and the reason I want to see them is out of curiosity how you train them. There is nothing special about being shirtless. I have seen you with nothing on countless times. There is a permanent image in my head." The princess tried to defend herself.
"So you have gotten tired of me and you want to see other men." Her head snapped at him. Why did it seem like he was looking for a fight?
