Chapter 318: The plan part 2

The hunt culling event was the event the Death’s Bite would least expect them to try and escape. That was the perfect time to escape.

"Which other day do we all leave this cellar? As a bonus, they wouldn’t be expecting us to run because they expect the older slaves to make us give up the will by telling us the terrors. All the service girls, when you leave the cells, keep your eyes open, then share what you know." Abrielle’s words resonated with them Becky seemed disturbed.

She had been here long enough to see how many failed time after time they tried to escape from here. The culling event was too dangerous, but knowing they might die one way or the other she decided not to voice out her opinion.

"How are we going to fight the guards?" Becky finally voiced out something that had been bothering her the entire time. The girls all pondered about her question.

Abrielle’s eyes narrowed at Becky. It was a strong point that was not enough to deter her. "I will come up with a plan; by chance, when you leave to serve, are you allowed to roam a bit." She inquired.

The first girl who had defended the service girls was seated and relaxed in a corner of her cell, her eyes watching everything that was going on. The thought of escaping did seem like a far-fetched idea, but it wasn’t bad to try something suicidal. She had already lost her sense of shame, dignity and all that held value to her. The only thing left was her life

It was on the line for a risky gamble. "It depends on who you serve. The higher the Guard the little more liberty they give you to feel like they care. While I served Jake, the second in command some nights, I was even allowed to roam the outside around midnight. It was the greatest reward ever." She answered.

"Camilla you never mentioned that before. I don’t think anyone has ever had the chance to go outside." Heather gasped.

"When I served that cheesy bastard, he only let me have some wine as extra benefits," Heather added through her gritted teeth that bastard. He claimed he couldn’t give her more than a fancy meal and her taking a few strolls around the house.

"What does the main entrance look like?" Becky got a bit excited. Camilla, Jake’s present plaything, sluggishly replied. Even during their hunt, they were only allowed to the maze at the back of the mansion, surrounded by a thick, endless forest. No one tried to go that far because any girl that attempted never came back alive.

Penny always showed the corpses of the girls who tried escaping into the forest during culling.

"It is an old manor, there are at least two other manors on the same land where they host the distinguished customers away from our filth. That’s what Jake said." Camilla replied.

"Why did that bastard treat you better?" Heather barked raising her pitch that even the guards heard her from outside.

They banged the door causing everyone to go silent. "Lower your voice or I will cut your tongues." A guard barked at them.

Heather’s hands on the bars tightened. After Camilla got sent here, Jake turned his back on her when that whore appeared.

"Jake said you didn’t know how to suck it well but I could suck better." Camilla sneered; Heather lost it, almost charging at Camilla in the opposite cell, knowing fully well she couldn’t reach Camilla.

"That bastard, I hope you enjoy sucking him better." She spat, making Camilla chuckle. "No, that’s not possible, The last time I saw Jake, he seemed off like he had gotten a new interest. Earlier, I saw Jake smack our dear princess’s butt. He now has a new interest." Abrielle’s heartbeat dropped to her stomach with all eyes on her.

"Let’s not stray from the topic. First, we need all the information from the service girls; second, we need to plan to get weapons; and third, do we have any magic users here?" Abrielle tried to change the topic of which kind of work.

"Well, Jake might call me later tonight. It’s been a week, and our princess will not serve him," Camilla answered. Camilla was starting to get on her nerves

"That bastard can serve himself." Abrielle spat. The thought of letting him touch her made her stomach churn

Camilla laughed, she found Abrielle cute. The way her eyes shone with determination despite everything. "Relax princess, he won’t force himself on you unless Penny sees it as a punishment for defiance." This was going to be fun. Camilla thought.

"We do have some magic users but they are not that powerful." Becky chirped in. Her eyes darted around the cells, and some girls stepped forward, showing some spells that weren’t that strong since only high nobles and royalty had a strong magic affinity.

They were around 10 with several degrees of magic. Two are pretty strong with attack spells, a healer with other beings’ weak elementals. It was something at least. Abrielle knew she was stronger than all of them.

"Don’t you possess magic Elle," Betty chirped from Abrielle’s side. She shook her head indicating no. The others were stunned because they didn’t know of a royalty with no magic. "I wasn’t born with that ability," Abrielle said.

She was going to keep her powers hidden. It was too early to trust them. She felt a light thug on her dress, making her look down on Abigail. "I can also do weird stuff," Abigail said, then turned towards a stone at a corner of their cell.

She stretched out her hand, and the rock slowly rose and rushed towards the bars, hitting it hard as it made a loud clanking sound.

"I said settle down." A guard angrily barked. Drumming the doors. Abrielle stared at Abigail with wide eyes, shock evident in them.

Abigail was pretty strong for a 7-year-old unless she had noble blood in her veins.
