The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband-Chapter 308: Far away
Chapter 308: Far away
The maid bowed and then went to the door; Eleanor didn’t pay much attention to whatever was going on there. She continued to enjoy her wine.
"I should have done something about her soon," she chimed still playing with the wine. Cedric was so occupied finding his wife he didn’t pay any attention to matters of the court. She never expected that the monster had a weakness.
It was puzzling because she swore that it could have been mistaken his interest was that annoying priestess Callista. Eleanor still had a prejudice against Callista. She only ignored her because Callista seemed like someone with potential. She has this ability to get people on her side plus the priestess saved her life.
The fire that day was still a mystery. Investigation shows it was caused by magic, Heliosian magic to be particular but the only Heliosian she knew to possess such magnitude of fire infinity was that piece of work that if not for the fact she was around when Cedric was born she would have said he was Cedric brother
They had the same annoying personality. "Your majesty," the maid called her gently. "Just go straight to the point." Eleanor snapped not liking the fact she got interrupted.
"I am sorry, Your Majesty, but there is a letter from the first prince. He says you have before dawn to reply." Talk about audacity. Who did that motherless bastard think he was to order him around? Eleanor’s face twisted, she didn’t even bother masking her rage.
"Who does he think he is? Get that rubbish out of my face." She barked out her chest heaving. The maid shrank. "I will." The maid then ran out for the door. Eleanor frowned. It wasn’t that bastard’s style to send a letter.
It was weird, she was still mad but curious about what he wanted from her. "Hold on, let me take a look." She stopped the maid before she left through the door. "Yes, Your Majesty." The maid bowed and then brought back the letter to her.
It was indeed Cedric’s, she recognized his stamp. She unsealed the letter and took her time to read it and her anger doubled the more she read. He didn’t even address her properly.
But the deeper she read, the anger quelled with another emotion surfacing. Fear, this should not be happening. Her eyes darkened; she had celebrated too soon, forgetting that she was dealing with an equally scheming mind like her.
He was threatening her. She stood up from her seat and then walked up to the fireplace. The sharp, crisp sound drew as she tore up the letter and then tossed it in the fireplace. She waited until it was completely burnt to make sure with her eyes its existence was erased.
"Layla, I have a letter to reply to; prepare the study." She instructed the maid. Her fingers curled into a fist but her expression was still serene. The fire cracked lightly its sounds barely heard compared to the rumbling cloud.

The sea was chaotic last night, and Abrielle could not get a wink of sleep until it was close to dawn. Penny hasn’t tormented her after the last time she almost got raped. Abrielle didn’t fight back and was as obedient as a dog.
Her eyes shot off, her entire body shaking as cold water was poured on her waking her from her sleep. She was pale and more frail; in just a few days, she had lost a considerable amount of weight.
"Wakey wakey Abrielle. How is my favourite princess doing?" Penny chimed; she was holding her lamp, and the bastard that almost raped her was with her again. It was weird they came by this time. They only came once a day at night to feed her leftovers.
"What do you want?" Abrielle asked, and Penny beamed. "You of course. We have arrived at your new home." She chimed excitedly. Abrielle’s gut twisted, how far had they travelled? Why did she care? This was the fate of a Villainess. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
"Come on, get up we need to leave. I am already sick of this ship." Penny complained bitterly. What will the one who stayed in a pitch-black room that stink like a corpse all alone say? It was a miracle she hadn’t lost her mind.
Abrielle leaned on the wall, struggling to stand up but her legs were too weak. She was starving. She tried but she kept on throwing up every bit of food.
Her legs gave up and she fell down. Penny sighed, she didn’t have the energy for this. "Jake go help her up. I don’t have all day." She instructed. The cell was slid open then Jake came in. His towering build overshadowed Abrielle; she was more than certain he would have crushed her if Penny hadn’t stopped that day.
Fear crawled up her throat; what if her buyer was worse? She had to find a way to escape. If she succeeds she would go far away from all this madness. Jake picked her up like an empty sac, placing her on his shoulders, and then they left the room.
Once they left the dark room, she saw the fire light for the first time in days from the fire lanterns. Penny switched off her magic stone lantern. The ship was creaking lightly, the waves hitting the wooden hull.
Finally, they approached the deck, the blinding sunlight making it hard for her to see. Abrielle was rounded up with other girls; they were at least 6 in number, all looking feeble. Her eyes darted around to find any familiar faces.
A frown settled on her brows. Where were Zoltana and Sabrina? "Everyone round up and the carriages are ready." Penny’s voice boomed, giving out orders. She was indeed the boss lady of the operation.
Abrielle, with the other girls who were covered with worse scars than hers and broken gazes, mirrored their broken hopes and souls, were loaded into the back of a single horse carriage. The type is used to carry goods.
"Nighty nighty girls." Penny snapped her fingers and they all fell asleep before the carriage started moving.
