The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride-Chapter 637: Leave the throne
Chapter 637: Leave the throne
"Would you like to see a bitchy move indeed?" Elliana’s powers took over, and her eyes immediately turned violet, alerting the people in the hall as the maids and servants stood near the corners, not wanting to face the wrath of the witch that their princess was.
Prince Angelo scoffed in her face as he looked at her up and down.
"What can you -?" He started to speak, but before he could complete his sentence, Elliana smiled, and as soon as she did that, the sickening sound of the bones breaking echoed in the air, which was followed by Prince Angelo’s scream.
"Aaaaa!" Prince Angelo screamed at the top of his lungs as his insides felt like someone was churning them.
Everyone saw the scene in horror.
It was just a little damage for Elliana before she raised her hand and everything made up of glass in the entire mansion cracked, bursting into thousands of shards.
"Stop it, please," It was Ruth who placed her hand on her ears to block the voice, and Elliana looked at her before clicking her fingers.
"Now this is what you can call a b*tch move," Elliana said before she looked at Abramo.
"How dare you even try to raise your hand at her? Do you have any idea who she is?" Circe shouted from inside of Elliana.
Abramo took the insult directly to his ego and gritted his teeth, his fangs and nails elongating.
"Do you know who I am? I am Elliana’s husband’s grandfather! The former king!" Abramo said.
Circe chuckled.
"And for some reason, you think I care?" Circe asked, pushing Elliana in the back of her head space as she wanted to avenge how they were treating her.
She has had enough. It was her duty to protect Elliana’s dignity. If she couldn’t do such a small thing, what was she really there for?
"This man over here is going to die now. And if you want to blame anyone for it, blame this old man who angered me enough," Circe said, and as soon as she said that, the crystal wand immediately turned into a long spear, making Freya gasp.
It was true that she wasn’t pleading for mercy and thought that her son deserved some punishment for acting so cruelly towards the princess and her own daughter, Ella. However, seeing her son dying right in front of her was something different.
She clenched her eyes shut as Circe raised her hands in the air, ready to pass that spear straight through Prince Angelo’s neck when Elliana used all the strength she could and pushed back Circe, stopping the powers right on time.
"What the -" Elliana said before she looked at her husband in disbelief.
Was he really allowing all of this to happen?
"Mr. Marino?" Elliana whispered, looking at him with wide eyes.
"He was your culprit," Sebastian said and shrugged as if it was nothing before he walked to her and shifted the position of the spear from Angelo’s neck to his abdomen.
Without wasting a single second, he pushed the spear, making it pass straight through his abdomen, which was followed by Prince Angelo’s grunted scream and his passing out immediately.
"Sebastian!" Abramo growled.
"This won’t kill him for sure. But this is a warning to this man and his family that the next time he tries something, the spear won’t miss its target. And one more thing, I might be a softy for my wife who has a little problem killing family but don’t forget I am the same prophecy kid who was thrown out of the palace in fear that I will kill your kids," Sebastian said before he intertwined his fingers with Elliana and pulled her out of the palace.
She didn’t say anything for some time. She couldn’t bear to.
Sebastian took a deep breath as soon as the car started to move, his thumb massaging the back of Elliana’s knuckles as he calmed his devil who was provoked twice and was on the verge of hurting his grandfather.
"I am sorry," Elliana whispered in her soft voice, and Sebastian turned to look at his wife, slightly confused.
"Sorry about what, baby?" He asked and she gulped.
"It all happened because of me. Your relationship was finally improving with your family, and I ruined it all," Elliana looked down at her feet.
Sebastian looked at his innocent emotional wife before shaking his head. He immediately pressed the button to put up the partition.
"Do you hear me complaining?" Sebastian asked.
Elliana shook her head and opened her mouth to intervene when Sebastian captured her lips into a soft kiss, pulling her onto his lap in a swift motion.
He kissed her passionately for some time before placing her head on his chest as both of them looked out of the car at the moving objects in silence.
"Would you be down to live with me if I leave my throne?" Sebastian asked out of the blue, and Elliana raised her head to look at her husband.
Shocked would be a small word to describe what she was feeling.
She had never guessed that there would be a day when a man who was obsessed with the throne because he believed it belonged to his father and he wanted to do justice to it would say words like leaving the throne.
"Why?" She asked and Sebastian sighed.
Why?
This wasn’t the first time he thought of this question.
Maybe it was because all his life he lived under delusions and made sitting on the throne his only motivation and objective to live. Maybe because he didn’t want to fight his brothers over this seat anymore when his peace was right in his arms.
Or maybe it was because he wanted a small and sweet family with his wife and a couple of kids running in their backyard while he loved her and showcased how beautiful this life was and how grateful he was to her every second of his life.
His priorities changed. He won’t lie. It was shocking to him too.
From being crowned and having the ultimate power over everyone in his species and his family, his priorities changed to having a family with his wife and creating many replicas of her.
"No particular reason. Just tell me, will you be down for that?" Sebastian asked, and Elliana smiled.
"So you want to spend your future as a stay-at-home husband?" Elliana asked, not mentioning the fact that she might not even get to live past two months.
She loved the look in his eyes. It was so serene that she wanted to lie to her head and live those fantasies that her husband was brewing.
"Will it be okay if I say yes?" Sebastian asked, and Elliana hummed.
"In that case, I will earn for both of us. We will create a small farmhouse near a beach with a forest in the background. And we will keep two horses too horse riding like in those reels," Elliana started speaking of all the things and how she would decorate the house, a beaming smile on her face, leaving Sebastian enchanted.
"Are you okay being a working woman?" Sebastian asked, and Elliana nodded.
"Don’t worry. You can count on me. I will just sell some more things in the black market, and we will -" Elliana paused when she realized her mistake and coughed to hide her little slip-up, making Sebastian look at her with amusement dancing in his eyes.
"Seriously? Are you going to work for the black market?" He asked.
Elliana removed the mask from his face before cupping his face between her hands as she looked into his eyes.
"Shhh, don’t interfere with the matters of the working person, dear hubby. I bring money and you take care of food and home. Don’t ask me where the money comes from and just focus on loving me. I think we have a fair deal here," Elliana whispered, and Sebastian laughed at his wife’s comment.
He laughed so hard that his eyes brimmed with tears while Elliana grinned at him.
"Where do you keep learning this kind of dialect from?" He asked as he wiped his eyes before hugging his wife closer to his heart, breathing in her intoxicating scent that calmed the big waves of toxicity and anger inside him in a second.
Meanwhile, Lucas and Ambrose, who could clearly hear their words and felt like they were third-wheeling in a happy family moment, looked at each other, unsure if it was okay to breathe and let them know they were here too.
Were these two the same people who were seconds away from losing their sh*t in the royal palace just a couple of minutes ago and were raging to the point where their monstrous sides had started to take over?
Lucas shook his head, the thought of what would really happen if something happened to their princess crossing his mind.
However, he quickly shook his head. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
No. He won’t dare to think about anything useless and attract negative energy towards them.
Lucas nodded to himself.
