The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride-Chapter 629: Announcement of a war
Chapter 629: Announcement of a war
"Who called me?" Elliana appeared in the white witch kingdom.
Her presence full of new magna was so strong that all the fire that Azrael had started, immediately calmed down, making the five elemental witches look at the girl.
Azrael looked at Elliana, her eyes wide when she saw the flow of energy in her veins, making her almost look like a blue-colored energy ball.
"What’s your problem? Tell me," Elliana smiled before she looked at the two dead bodies on Azrael’s foot.
"Destruction of property, murders of multiple witches, infringement of laws, and trying to hurt the kingdom in the absence of the queen. If there was really a witch police, do you realize you deserve a death sentence Azrael?" Elliana asked, and the witch gritted her teeth.
What was this? It was hard for her to understand. How could Elliana gather this amount of Magna in such a short time? Why was she looking untouchable?
"Who will dare to punish me? Is there anyone stronger than me who has the capability to hurt me? All the elder witches stronger than me have gained salvation and can’t hurt me or use their magic against me," Azrael smirked, and Elliana chuckled.
She laughed a cold laugh.
"Well, can’t you see me?" Elliana asked before she raised her hand, and a thunderbolt of lightning immediately struck Azrael’s seat, almost touching Azrael.
However, it wasn’t just normal lightning.
The seat she was sitting on turned to powder while a large hollow area was created behind her, burning with her fire.
Azrael looked at the attack strength of Elliana, and she realized that Elliana was indeed high on power.
But why?
She gulped and was about to use her teleportation to disappear into thin air, but before she could even think of it, Elliana appeared right in front of her, grabbing her neck in a tight grip.
"Not so soon, Aunt Azrael," Elliana smiled, looking into Azrael’s eyes before using her other hand to form an ice dagger in her hand.
Azrael widened her eyes when she realized she wasn’t able to move an inch with Elliana grabbing her neck like this.
"Y-you can’t kill me like this, Elliana. You struck a deal with me. Don’t forget about it," Azrael said and Elliana nodded.
"Did I?" Elliana asked before she raised the icy dagger and sliced Azrael’s arm upside down, making a long slick cut on her hand.
Elliana looked at the blood dripping from the witch’s hand before smiling. A little compensation for all the magic she absorbed.
"I struck that deal because I didn’t want my loved ones to get hurt, but after how your witches meticulously hurt my people, even going as far as almost threatening them with death, I realized something. They will do anything to protect you, no?" Elliana asked, and Azrael gulped when she saw raw evilness in her eyes.
Where was her mom at a time like this? Were they not worried about Elliana anymore? Where the heck was that lap dog Nathaniel who doesn’t leave her side and that vampire king who boasts about his love for her? Why did they leave this girl alone? Azrael gritted her teeth.
"If you killed me today, you are never going to find where Arizona is. Didn’t you promise Ari you would help her?" Azrael scoffed and Elliana hummed.
"I did. Aren’t you here exactly for that? To get Ari on your side? Now tell me why you want her," Elliana said, digging her ice dagger into her abdomen, making Azrael flinch as she was afraid that the girl would really push the dagger into her body.
"She possesses demonic powers," Azrael didn’t waste a second, and Elliana nodded in understanding.
"And it’s not lethal for her life like these siren powers are for me, right?" She asked, and Azrael gritted her teeth.
"Why do you care so much about her? Shouldn’t you be feeling wronged -"
"Because I am not you, Azrael," Elliana smiled before she pushed Azrael down, making the woman kneel on her knees.
"This is for trying to use a pregnant lady for your benefit and risking her life," Elliana raised her hand and slapped Azrael hard across the face in front of everyone, making the five elemental witches gasp.
The sound of the slap was so powerful that it rang like a thunderbolt in the silent area.
They all knew Azrael was wrong, but it was still something they didn’t expect Elliana to do because she wasn’t the type of kid who would disrespect an elder.
It was something that even Arizona didn’t do despite her anger.
"Elliana!" Azrael’s eyes turned black as she tasted the metallic liquid in her mouth.
She raised her head to look at the girl she was going to use to get her love back.
"Don’t raise your voice at me like that. Or it might end up with more than just a slap. Don’t forget the humiliation you made me go through. Remember putting your foot on my head? And definitely don’t forget about what my family went through because of you. I am not playing well anymore," Elliana gripped Azrael’s neck, forcing her to look into her eyes.
"This slap is for making my husband’s life hectic by helping those human rogues and his brother. You know very well that he is the one I would lay my life for, then how dare you bring tears to his eyes? Hmm?" Elliana asked, taking out her anger on the right person because of whom everything was happening in the first place.
"Elliana, you are crossing your line. Don’t forget who I am and what I can do," Azrael shouted, feeling greatly humiliated as the entire white witch Kingdom saw what was happening to her.
The worst part was, she wasn’t able to free herself from Elliana’s grip and use her teleportation to disappear.
"I know exactly what you can do, Azrael," Elliana scoffed before she looked at Prakrith.
"What were you guys doing when she was taking the lives of those witches? Are the witches here that weak that they couldn’t take down a witch with their collective powers? Or was it cowardice because it wasn’t your family?" Elliana asked, raising her hand towards the sky, making the Kingdom exactly how it was before Azrael came and showed her powers to everyone.
Azura and King Eros along with Sebastian who finally thought she could be here since they called for her help, looked at the scene in front of them before shifting their gaze to Elliana, who didn’t look like she was in the mood of joking.
Azura looked at her sister who was kneeling in front of her daughter and a sigh escaped her lips.
"Why do you keep provoking her? Do you really think you will be on the top of the cycle for the rest of your life?" Azura asked, making Azrael immediately look at her.
"Azura, keep your daughter under control. She dared to bring me to my knees. Explain to her what happens when my ego gets hurt," Azrael immediately gained momentum and pushed Elliana away.
Elliana, who wasn’t expecting the sudden forceful hit, stumbled back.
Sebastian immediately used his vampire speed and held his wife, holding Azrael with his other hand, knowing all too well that the witch would try to run the first thing.
"Don’t provoke me, Azrael. I am not exactly in a good mood today. So stop testing my limits. What you will show me will be decided only when I will let you live. One more threatening word from you, and I won’t think twice before plunging this dagger into your body, completely forgetting you are my relative," Elliana said.
Honestly, ending Azrael was the solution for around 60% of their problems, and today Elliana really wanted to do it, but it wasn’t a one-time solution. Other people were planning against them, and Elliana wanted a one-time solution for once.
"I am here to challenge you for a war," Elliana said, surprising everyone.
This was the only way. Her father was right about it.
"What did you say?" Azrael asked.
"A war. Are you short of hearing?" Elliana seethed, barely controlling her anger when Sebastian placed his hand on her hair to caress and calm her.
"Bring all the witches who are ready to die by your side. Bring all the humans and wolves that want to put down my husband. Make sure they are ready to die by your side too. Because if they don’t, I will add them to my side," Elliana said, and Azrael glared at the girl.
"What makes you so confident, little girl? Just because you have your family can you fight me?" Azrael asked with a scoff.
Elliana smiled and stepped ahead, looking straight into Azrael’s eyes.
"Exactly, I have a family who is ready to die for me. I might only have a bunch of people, but those people are far better than your cunning witches who are with you just because you promised them a place in the kingdom," Elliana scoffed before she raised both of her hands in the air.
"I Elliana Minerva Sebastian Marion, hereby declare the onset of war between Azrael and her allies and myself. The war will take place exactly after two weeks. And if Azrael fails to show up at that time, it will be declared as her cowardice. And if she tried to play any tricks with me or my people by that time, she would be a pathetic, cunning, helpless, and hopeless witch anyway. What can we do? Pity her probably," Elliana said, her eyes completely black as she made the announcement and without waiting for Azrael’s answer.
She stepped ahead and sliced Azrael’s hand, a deep wound making her blood drip on the ground, making the witch wince in pain.
Elliana was about to slice her hand to close the announcement when King Eros stepped ahead.
"Let me," He said, and Elliana nodded.
King Eros sliced his hand slightly and let his blood drop on the place where Azrael’s blood was.
He didn’t want this cunning Azrael to find even a hint of why Elliana had gathered so much Magna. They wouldn’t allow it.
