2928 Singularity of Destruction

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

RUMBLE!!!!!

The entirety of the body of the Golem King shook with a maelstrom of seismic energy as it dedicated every ounce of its power to the sole task of crushing the Devil at the very epicenter of its titanic body.

The sheer amount of pressure that existed at its core was so extraordinarily high that even the matter immediately around Damian turned into an astronomically hot plasma that could kill even Martial Sages.

And yet, the Martial Sage that it sought to kill was the farthest thing away from the norm.

"RARGH!!!" Damian snarled with a murderous bloodlust as he pushed back against the Golem King's extraordinary attack with as much destruction as as he could muster.

CRACK CRACK CRACK!!!

RUMBLE!!!!!

The Golem King shook even more violently as countless cracks and deep fissures emerged from its body, stretching deep across its entire body.

And yet, the heat meant that it could merge back together at a stunningly alarming rate. Its sheer invincibility even before the likes of the Devil spoke to just what manner of monster it was.

Damian, however, was not content with this spiraling status quo.

A single whisper escaped him.

"I need more destruction."

Instantly, he halted all of his resistance against the extraordinary Golem King, balling up into a fetal position as he activated what was the most powerful technique in his entire life. "Singularity of Destruction."

An extraordinarly amount of power warped the very fabric of space and time as he bent and twisted it with every ounce of energy he could muster an immense well of gravity within the depths of the Moon King's body.

His expression grew extraordinarily excited as the gravity well grew more and more intense with each passing second.

A technique inspired by the cosmic monster that he had borne witness to more than fifteen years ago, in the real world, in the third Great East Panamic War. Now, he would harness the power of this very cosmic monster.

The pinnacle of destruction.

Even as the singularity intensified, he could feel his understanding of the concept of Destruction heighten.

He could feel insights he had never felt before.

Intuitions.

Epiphanies.

They flooded his mind.

His soul.

They colored his vision of the world.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook as the gravity well intensified to an astronomical degree.

And then, space collapsed.

Into a singularity.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!

"HAHAHAHA!" he laughed with an almost childish ecstasy contrasted with the endless lust for destruction in the depths of his eyes. The Golem King shook as its very body began being consumed inside out at an alarming rate, quaking in its death throes.

Meanwhile, the shadowcrawler's body began being crushed under the electromagnetic spatial manipulation that the Boundless Light had developed on the spot, using light to torment the creature of darkness.

A creature that could survive virtually infinite force due to its absolute intangibility and uninteractablity with anything else except for gravity was ravaged under the sheer power that the Boundless Light was capable of unleashing. Out of all the Martial Sages present in the battlefield, her destructive power was second only to Damian while she possessed speed that far exceeded even that maneuvering specialists like Kane.

Simultaneously, the Reverend of Reckoning identified the most critical points of failure within the skull of the jormungandr.

What followed was not pretty.

"Order will show me the way."

The serpent writhed and shivered with pain as the Transcendent candidate ravaged its skull from inside out. The sheer mass of the serpent was so immense that not even the Reverend of Reckoning was able to escape from within very easily. The jormungandr understood that if it allowed the Martial Sage to escape from within its mouth, it would undoubtedly die.

Thus, it doubled down, balling up even tighter as it used the sum totality of its physical power to resist the escape of the Reverend of Reckoning, coiling around its jaws as intensely as it possibly could.

These three major battles of the war occupied much of the battlefield, causing Martial Sages to avoid them as they fought with the many quasi-Transcendent beasts and monsters.

Many, many beasts and monsters were culled as the Martial Sages aggressively hunted them. This time, they were outside of their native domains, losing all environmental advantage that they once had, making it easier for the Martial Sages to fight them. The death rate of the Martial Sages reduced significantly compared to previous battles with these creatures in the past as not only did the Martial Sages understand how to fight them due to sharing intelligence and analysis from the task force back at home, but they also were more coordinated with each other than the refugee quasi-Transcendent beasts and monsters.

No longer among their own species, these creatures lacked coordination with each other, causing them to fight more inefficiently, while the Martial Sages had only developed greater and greater coordination with each other in the ten years that they had spent warring in the depths of the Beast Domain.

The differences in the caliber of Martial Sages, beasts, and monsters had never been more apparent than in the case of this battle.

Every single advantage that Martial Sages possessed was pronounced and clearly visible on a larger scale.

Tactical and strategic intelligence.

Extraordinary efficiency.

And a shocking intel gap, where the Martial Sages seemed to know exactly has the weaknesses of each creature were. After all, Rui's Hellbringer model had not only been spread but also quite mastered over the past ten years.

"ROOOAAARRR!!!"

"KRRRIIIEEEKKK!!!"

"RAAAWWWRRR!!!"

The war grew one-sided as the death throes of the many, many monsters and beasts spread across the battlefield. A tremendous flux of seismic radiation emerged, washed over heaven and earth as they were increasingly culled.

And yet, one battle only grew more and more intense than the rest as two equal forces clashed with each other with a tremendous ferocity in their battles, escalating with each passing second as it began encompassing more and more of the battlefield.
