The Growth of a Titan-Chapter 486- You Don’t Mind If I Take This Empty Spot, Do You?
Chapter 486: Chapter 486- You Don’t Mind If I Take This Empty Spot, Do You?
The old man Ushi called Uncle Tenzin sighed at Ushi’s words. But if one looked closely, they might be able to spot a prideful smile that slowly tugged at the corner of his lips. Turning to Altair, old man Tenzin said.
"We’ve already restricted our Clan members from entering the dimension on the basis of it being unfair to you in this tournament, so our Young Master is the only one from our Miura Clan that is entering the dimension. Given the current circumstances, it is hard for one to enter the dimension due to the Spatial Fluctuations, but if you have the capabilities and wish to give it a try, then you may go ahead."
Upon hearing old man Tenzin’s words, most of the disciples were taken aback as they didn’t know the Miura Clan was restricted from entering their own dimension. Thinking back on Ushi’s words, they now understood why he was so angry.
However, Altair only snorted at old man Tenzin’s words. He then looked down at Ushi and the others who were falling toward the Shadow Dimension’s entrance. His eyes specifically focused on Sol, and a slight smirk appeared at the corner of his lips.
"Let’s go."
Altair said to Quilt next to him before jumping off the cloud platform.
"All of you stay behind and wait for the entrance to properly open."
Quilt said to the people behind him before he jumped off the cloud platform as well, his arms still folded in an indifferent attitude as he did.
The two then sped downwards, but their aim was not to enter the dimension, instead it was to intercept Sol and the others.
Mar-Dule seeing this had his blue eyes glowed with a ferocious light, but he had to think about his Barbarian Race, so he decided not to jump.
Althorne glanced down and seeing that a battle was about to be kick-started before anyone even entered the Shadow Dimension he smiled slightly. Without saying a word to those behind him, he suddenly jumped down as well.
The leaders of the top powers... Dae-hyun and Wei-sun of the Jeagal Clan, Bai-yin of the Tang Clan, Peng Han of the Peng Clan, Yuji of the Namgung Clan, Lee-hua of the Jieun Clan, Byeong-ho of the Huashan Sect, Haneul of the Shaolin Sect, Su-jin of the Kongtong Sect, and Hua-yin of the Emei Sect.
All of these leading figures of their generation stood on the side and chose not to join in on the sudden battle. One or two of them even thought it was ridiculous to battle so early on, and Sol as well as the rest were just embarrassing themselves for the two Continents to see.
Meanwhile, Ushi, who still had his hand pointed at the moon, made a ’tsk’ sound when he saw Altair, Quilt, and Althorne fast approaching them. From their speed, they would reach them before they make it through the Shadow Dimension’s entrance. But he can’t be interrupted while manipulating the power of the Eclipse, and neither could the others let go to stop them.
"Don’t worry, I’ll block them before they can get close."
Sol suddenly said as if noticing Ushi’s struggle.
Ushi’s eyes immediately lit up and he recalled Sol’s strange ability. Laughing, he didn’t hesitate anymore. Similar to his Uncle Tenzin, a mysterious energy traversed spacetime from the moon and entered Ushi’s body through his finger. However, while his uncle’s finger only trembled when the energy entered, Ushi’s entire body shook, and violently at that.
Nevertheless, Ushi’s black orbs glowed with steadfast determination. After the energy entered his body, he hurriedly pointed at the abyss-like entrance below them. At the same time, his bloodline tattoo that covered his body extended from his palm to Yoon-jae’s own. It then moved along his shoulder to his other hand before doing the same for Cian and Woo-seong, only stopping when it reached Sol’s right hand. The mysterious energy shot out of Ushi’s finger and entered the abyss-like entrance that didn’t show any reaction surface.
The distance between the Shadow Dimension and the cloud platforms was several thousand meters. They were already close to reaching the entrance in only a few minutes, but despite their speed of descent being boosted by their ability to fly, the closer they got to the abyss-like entrance the slower they became.
Altair, who was in the lead among the three following them, quickly approached from behind and suddenly pointed at them with an expressionless face. With that point of his finger, a black magic circle appeared at his fingertip.
Sol upon seeing this, was about to use his Fist Intent to block whatever attack Altair was about to fire at them. However, rather than an attack, something else resulted from Altair’s actions, something utterly bizarre.
A similar black rune suddenly appeared on Sol’s right index finger, and as the black rune at the tip of Altair’s finger burst into fragments, the one on Sol’s finger released a dark light that encapsulated his entire body before disappearing along with him.
In Sol’s place, comfortably holding Woo-seong’s hand, appeared Altair. Meanwhile, Sol reappeared where Altair previously was in the air behind them.
This sudden change of events both shocked and amazed Ushi and the others. Woo-seong especially stared at Altair who was now holding his hand with dumbfoundment written all over his face.
"Haha, you don’t mind if I take this empty spot, do you? I’m really curious as to what you guys are up to."
Altair said with a chuckle as he tightly held onto Woo-seong’s hand with a vice-like grip. Even Woo-seong, who had a strong physical body knew he couldn’t get out of this hold, especially since his other hand was occupied holding Cian’s hand.
At the same time, where Sol was, a figure in black armor suddenly appeared behind him and caught him in a bear hug, stopping his descent.
"Gotcha! Damn bastard, you’re not so confident now, are you?! Bwahaha!"
Quilt, who now had Sol locked in his hold, let out a round of uproarious laughter.
Althorne slightly behind the group was also amazed at the scene and he looked at Altair with a thoughtful expression on his face. Of course, he knew the Royal Families possessed Spatial Sorcery Magic, but it was extremely hard to learn. But he guessed Altair wasn’t given the title of the number one genius in the history of the Elvian Race for nothing.
Similarly, the disciples who were watching the scene from their cloud platforms went into an uproar upon seeing Altair’s ability. It wasn’t heard, but an uproar also happened in several cities on both the Eastern and Western Continents. The uproar was loud especially for the audience in Jianghu, the Eternal Desert, and the Land of Shadows since they had never heard of a Spiritual Realm cultivator using a Martial Skill or Spell to teleport.
Perhaps if one had an Irregular Innate Dharma related to Space or had a deep knowledge of Tier 6 runes at the very least, they could pull something like this off. However, there was no one like that in Jianghu or the Eternal Desert. No, even the entire Eastern Continent for that matter!
The Spiritual Realm disciples on the cloud platforms felt apprehensive about facing such a person. However, if even the Spiritual Realm disciples were feeling such emotions, one could only imagine how the disciples in the Mortal Realm were feeling. Weren’t they going to be slaughtered like wild chickens for their points if they were unlucky enough to meet people like Altair alone in the Shadow Dimension? They wanted to cry at the unfairness of the situation, but no tears came.
