Chapter 1012: Chapter 93 Look, you’re in a hurry again!_3

"Ahem, I’ve brought some gifts for you as well on my return."

"That’s very thoughtful of you."

Freya chuckled behind her hand, seemingly not too concerned.

As the God Queen second only to Odin, ruling over the Nine Realms, she had seen countless treasures and rarities, making it difficult to impress her with material goods.

Luo En didn’t say much more, yanking the soundly sleeping Yemengarde from his shoulder and smacking the beast’s head:

"Spit it out!"

Yemengarde blinked its eyes, trying to feign innocence and get by.

However, under the coercion of its new Feeder, it eventually submitted dejectedly, retched from its mouth, and a strand of golden flame emanated from its stomach, forming a fist-sized orb floating tranquilly in front of the three.

The flame seemed to have no heat, and Freya, out of curiosity, reached out to touch it, feeling only a warmth akin to that of the Sun:

"What is this?"

"The Eternal Fire, the prized treasure of the Fire Giant Clan, one of the two primary sources of Divinity in the Nordic God Era. It took quite some effort to find this thing in the Fire Country."

As he spoke, Luo En’s tone was filled with emotion.

He had searched for the Eternal Fire hundreds of times to no avail, until the Norn Three Goddesses personally initiated Destiny Divination to excavate it from the Fire Country.

After the battle with the Norn Three Goddesses had ended, however, he discovered that the Eternal Fire had vanished, and the Three-Curled Rune Array meant to seal it had been damaged by what appeared to be animal claw marks.

Without a doubt, the culprit was Yemengarde.

This damn cat would eat anything; while they were away, it broke the Array, devouring much of the essence of the Eternal Fire.

The Nordic God Era was a world nurtured in Ice and Fire, and the Eternal Fire being one of the two fundamental origins of creation, Luo En could not possibly let Yemengarde treat it as a snack in its belly.

Therefore, he took this opportunity to gift it to the couple, Odin and Freya.

"This gift is too precious, we..."

As they were about to politely decline, Luo En slightly raised his hand and asked in a deep voice:

"I’ve heard that the birth of the Prophetic Son has been delayed?"

Odin and Freya looked embarrassed upon hearing this.

Strangely enough, despite having slept together for hundreds of years after their marriage, Freya’s belly had always remained flat.

The Child of Light they had longed for had yet to be born.

Although it is said that the more powerful the life, the harder it is to reproduce, seeing her husband succeed with every shot outside, resulting in a multitude of children with his lovers, but when it came to his legitimate wife, never having succeeded even once, Freya couldn’t help but feel depressed and started doubting her own Life Authority.

"The Life Authority of Warner is rooted in another world and might not be accepted in Nordic; perhaps try this."

Luo En held the Eternal Fire, musing deeply,

"Flames, too, embody Light."

Upon hearing this, Odin and Freya were visibly moved, instantly understanding the purpose of Luo En’s gift, and treasured the Eternal Fire as a prized possession in their embrace.

Odin patted Luo En’s shoulder heartily with a face showing less calculation and more sincere gratitude:

"Thanks, brother!"

"Don’t thank me, thank this one instead."

Luo En lifted Yemengarde, attributing the credit to the cat, hoping to subtly improve the relationship between the Asa Divine Race and the apocalyptic beasts, and delay the advent of Ragnarök as much as possible.

Only with enough time can he instigate the Divine War with Ireland-Celtic, accumulate sufficient sacrifices, bring forth the Fruit of Destiny, and complete subsequent plans before Ragnarök commences.

"Alright! I’ve noted it! But your part can’t be missing! Once I’m done with my duties here, I’ll definitely send you a grand gift!"

Odin replied with a hearty laugh, then glanced at Freya behind him and cleared his throat, suggesting,

"Shall we call it a night with the drinks?"

He was indeed in a hurry.

Luo En silently chided with a chuckle, pondering:

"Fine, you’re busy, I’ve got things to attend to in the Lower Realm anyway."

"You’re leaving again?" Odin sounded taken aback.

"The Valkyrie Corps is about to hold a grand tournament, and I thought I’d bring Brynhild over to try her hand as well. After all, I’ve taught her quite a bit of Martial Arts and Magic on the way to the Netherworld, so this rare opportunity is perfect to test her learning results."

"That’s appropriate!"

Odin breathed a sigh of relief, laughing aloud,

"Let one of my ravens guide you; it knows the way."

Having achieved his desired outcome, Luo En happily nodded, following the raven summoned by Odin to the transfer station at the Rainbow Bridge.

Watching his Blood Alliance brother walk away into the distance, Odin’s face revealed a subtly amused smile.

Brynhild had recently caused some trouble and been confined by him in a particular place as punishment.

And the conditions of that place were rather unique; he hoped his brother would appreciate them.
