The Extra's Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!-Chapter 176: [Reasons for Kidnapping?]
"A pure half ghoul's blood is strong enough to destroy an entire continent."
A small pause. And then I looked back at Elliot for a moment. The black hair fluttered against the wind, while her pale red eyes looked at me with hope. Even though her expression was filled with anxiety, I could see that she wasn't fear stricken as before.
Smiling at her, I waved my hand for a few seconds before turning back to Navia and asking,
"Is it related to potions and such? Something about a chemical created out of her blood?"
Navia's eyes widened for a brief moment before she nodded and continued," yeah. Though, there is a lot more to that but that's the fundamental part of it. You can take it as a [Potion of Destruction] that has many functions, but honestly it has far more uses than that. And obviously it is tempting, not just to the ghouls and vampires but to lesser species like humans and such."
'Guess so,' I agreed with her.
"Well in essence, it is an omnipotent ingredient that can be used not only as a potion but also as a weapon, or an object or an artifact. In a way, it has no limits. That is also the reason why most of my sisters were hunted for so long over the years until our Lord came and protected us," she added as she recalled some old memories while I sighed a bit.
There is a high chance that people in the Tower will also target her, and most of them would be far more cruel and dangerous than the ones in this world. It's gonna be a pain for her.
'I wonder if there is any sort of [Gift] I can create for her that would make things easier for her with those situations,' I pondered a bit. While it was not my place to change the fate of someone, the least I can do is provide for a chance to do it by themselves.
"Is Kite the same as Elliot?" I asked since they were targeting both the girls and not just her. And Navia made a slight surprise expression before she wondered who I was talking about.
And then turning back to look at the red haired girl who seemed to have lost most of her will to fight, she sighed before saying,
The sourc𝗲 of this content is freēwēbηovel.c૦m.
"No. That red haired girl simply piqued our interest. She is more likely a failed experiment of the humans who tried to create a vampire without the normal blood exchange ritual."
She paused a bit before analyzing Kite and the continued speaking,
"Her blood is a mixture of human and Vampire, but unlike half vampires who can control their blood, her vampire blood is stored in pouches within her body. She can release it on will, letting it take over her, but that's all she can do. It's like she can control the switch but nothing more. If she lets go too much, she might easily turn into something called a [Raging Vampire] that has lost all emotions and is on a constant bloodhunt."
"Is that so?" I spoke as I used [Accelerated Analysis!] on Kite and much obvious as it was, there were many more secrets to Kite than what Navia analysed. Though since it is not my place to interfere, I am going to be quiet about it.
"Yeah. Her life might have not been the most pleasant really so in a way not much would have changed if we were to take her as our toy or whatnot. Though, I am not going to sugarcoat it, she was going to be used as a plaything for us for the most part before we sent her to one of the ranks below," she added while observing my expression.
It was easy to see that she was assessing my reaction to her words, and seeing that I was pretty much apathetic to her words, a slight sigh of relief escaped her mouth.
So, I have a general idea about Elliot, Kite and even the Vampire King. So was there anything else I could ask her?
I gave it a few moments before I found the answer standing right in front of me.
"What about you?" I asked Navia.
"Huh? Who?" She was confused for a moment before realising what I was asking. And then surprised, she asked again,"me?"
I nodded slowly with a smile before she seemed to be a bit troubled. And then with a pressed smile, she answered,
"There… isn't really anything interesting about me. When I was a human, I was sold by my parents to the vampires for a petty change and I was taken under the care of our Lord. Life as a human was… something I don't remember anymore. As for being a Vampire, in the beginning, I simply hunted for food before slowly collecting experiences all around."
"Sometimes I hunted. Sometimes I spent my time as a disguised human. Other times, I dabbled in this and that but overall it wasn't something that you can make a tale out of. Though one thing I picked up on my adventures was that people can always surprise you and always expect the unexpected. Prepare for the worst and also, be more calm in the presence of what's inexplicable. Learn that from the weaker races, not gonna lie."
She shrugged her shoulders a bit before I nodded at her words.
"Is that the reason why you were so calm despite all the things that I have said or done?" I asked and she nodded. Well, there was nothing grand about it, not that I expected it. It was just a character she built over the ages after learning from experiences.
"What about your ambitions? Or perhaps any wishes?" I asked out of curiosity. Since she was so nice to me, answering all my questions, I guess it won't hurt to see if there was anything I could do for her.
Though her next answer was rather unexpected for me.
"What I wanted was…."
