The Extra Seeks Chaos-Chapter 210: Tattoo
"I'm still a little bit confused about what happened with that egg, but after that red light entered your body, you fell unconscious, and all your Blood Energy was instantly drained."
"Because of that, Roxanne transferred all her Blood Energy to you..."
"What?"
"You heard me right," Seraphine said. "If she hadn't done that and allowed you to regain your Blood Energy naturally, you wouldn't have regained consciousness this early."
"You would have probably regained consciousness by afternoon, and of course, it would have surely brought attention to you."
Arin was still surprised by what Seraphine was telling him.
"Red light, huh?" he muttered as he stared at the egg that was completely cracked with nothing inside it at all.
"It's definitely the Raven," Arin muttered.
He had no idea where the Raven was now, but he knew that the red light entered his body.
"At least, I know that Roxanne is fine... That's a relief."
Bringing his mind back to the Raven, he kept wondering why the colour of the egg even changed in the first place.
The only reason I can think of is my Blood Energy, because its colour didn't change until I transferred Blood Energy to it.
A slight frown suddenly appeared on Arin's face.
"Now that I think about it, I'm feeling a bit itchy..."
Before he could ponder more on it, he felt movement beside him.
"Ugh..." Roxanne groaned as she slowly opened her eyes.
Arin smiled after seeing that she had woken up.
She slowly raised her body before staring at Arin. She still looked half sleepy, signifying that she was probably still weak.
Instantly, her eyes widened.
"Master..." she muttered with a smile.
"Thank you, Roxanne," Arin said immediately.
Roxanne realized that Seraphine must have told Arin what she did, and that was why he was thanking her.
"You don't have to thank me," Roxanne said. "It's even an honor to help a Progenitor."
Arin nodded in response. Now that she had woken up, he could fully focus on the issue about the Raven.
"Now, from that light that entered my body, there's a very high chance that the Raven is inside me," Arin said. "But how do I confirm that?"
"Yes, I also think it's inside you," Roxanne said, making Arin look at her.
"How do you know that?" he asked.
He wanted to see if Roxanne would say anything different apart from the red light entering his body.
Suddenly, she pointed at his back. "I... If you would allow me, I would also like to confirm if what I'm about to say is accurate."
"Huh?"
Arin was quite confused, but Roxanne explained further.
"After you fell unconscious, I noticed that your back was glowing red, though, it was dim... Very dim, to the point that I wouldn't have noticed it if I weren't looking closely."
"But because of the situation, I decided to transfer my Blood Energy to you first, so I couldn't check it," she added.
"I see..." Arin muttered with a thoughtful expression. "If that's the case, then..."
He turned, making his back face Roxanne.
"You can check it."
'I think she's right, because I'm feeling more itchy at my back,' Arin thought.
"Oh... y-yes," Roxanne said, flustered.
She sat down on the bed, behind Arin. With a deep breath, she began raising his shirt.
While she was raising his shirt, she was observing his back, but she still hadn't seen anything.
But as soon as she raised the shirt halfway through, she finally saw something.
"Woah..."
A single word escaped Roxanne's lips, making Arin even more curious than he already was.
The way she said the 'woah' made it obvious that what she saw was incredible.
"What is it? Tell me," Arin said, his voice hasty.
"I... it's a tattoo," Roxanne said.
Arin shuddered lightly for two reasons.
Firstly, because of the mention of tattoo, and secondly, because Roxanne was currently running her fingers along his back.
He could feel her long fingernails running along his back as if she was tracing a sculpture.
"Roxanne..." he muttered.
In that instant, she realized what she was doing.
"Oh... Uhm, sorry, Arin," she apologized. "I just got lost there for a second."
Arin was more concerned about the tattoo, so he instantly asked her about it.
"It's a tattoo of a Raven," Roxanne said. "It's not too big, but it's also not small."
'Shit...' Arin thought. 'There are no cameras in this world... She would have snapped it for me to see.'
But well, there was another option.
Arin instantly got up from the bed and walked towards the mirror that was hanging on the wall not too far from the window.
Immediately he reached it, he turned back to see his own back.
And now, he could see why Roxanne was bewildered.
There was a tattoo of a black coloured Raven on his back. Like Roxanne said, the tattoo didn't cover his entire back, but it still took up quite some space.
Its wingspan was quite wide, and its eyes were... red.
Arin didn't need any other confirmation. This alone was enough to confirm that the Raven was, indeed, inside his body.
A small grin formed on Arin's face. "Seraphine, this just saved us a lot of stress..."
When he took the egg from Alex's room, his plan was that very early in the morning, he would let Seraphine out, and throw the egg to her through the window, and then, she would stealthily leave the Arena City with it.
Then when he exited the city along with the other participants, she would then give it to him, and they would be able to do that without being noticed because of the crowd of people that would be in the city.
Arin made this plan because he knew that once they exited the city, Alex wouldn't be able to actively look for the egg, and he wouldn't be able to ask anyone about it, after all, he didn't want anyone to know about the egg because of the way he got it.
But Arin was now confused about a few things.
'Why did the Raven turn into a streak of red light?'
Arin remembered that in the novel, the egg hatched a month after Alex got it, so why did it hatch now?
And he also remembered that it didn't turn into a streak of red light when it hatched in the novel.
To get the answer, Arin reasoned something.
"What was the only thing I did differently?" he asked himself, and instantly, he got the answer.
It was the Blood Energy.
Arin raised a brow. "The Blood Energy that I transferred to it just to erase Alex's mana made it hatch much quicker than it was supposed to, and also made it turn into a streak of red light and enter my body."

In the novel, after the egg hatched, it didn't even enter Alex's body. This was another thing that changed due to Arin's Blood Energy.
Arin couldn't help but smile.
The Blood Energy had once again showed that it was beneficial and helpful in more ways than one.
'But how do I communicate with it?' Arin wondered.
Now, one more thing was added to Arin's list of things to figure out.
He still had to figure out the stuff he could do with his Blood Armour, and also how to create more Chaos Element Spells.
Apart from that, he had to figure out what his Special Ability as a Progenitor was.
And now...
He had to figure out how to communicate with the Raven, especially since he wasn't feeling anything strange apart from the itch that was already stopping.
He couldn't feel any sort of connection or Energy with the Raven like he could feel with Seraphine.
One hour later, Arin was seated on the bed.
He had tried meditating, but he still couldn't feel anything.
He had even tried entering his Mana Space, but he didn't see any sign of the Raven nor could he feel anything.
In the end, he practiced a bit with the Water Slash spell before leaving the Mana Space.
"Well, I guess this is just another thing you have to figure out," Seraphine said.
"Hmm," Arin replied as he walked into the bathroom.
The sun was already rising, and he was sure that all the students would soon be woken up.
After freshening up, he wore the clothes the lady brought last night.
"It was nice seeing a different view," Roxanne said as she walked closer to Arin while straightening her skirt.
Arin smiled. "And I think you'll be seeing an entirely different one sooner than you think."
Roxanne didn't quite understand why Arin said this, but she knew that he definitely had a reason for saying it.
After some minutes, she finally transformed to her bracelet form, and Arin wore it.
Immediately after that, a knock was heard on the door followed by a lady's voice.
"Wake up! It's time to leave!"
Meanwhile, in a certain room, a boy's eyes widened as his body became stiff.
"Where the hell is Sandy...?"
