Father Miella was a middle-aged man with long blue hair tied in a single knot.

What stood out the most was the eye patch that covered half of his face.

An eye patch?

Despite wearing the eye patch, he looked directly at me and Leonard with precision.

"You’re late. Leonard, take a seat, and new student, come up to the podium."

He didn’t even speak, but he already knew it was us who had entered the room.

‘If we were the last ones to arrive, I suppose he could tell who we were without seeing our faces.’

I nodded and stood in front of the podium.

"Let me introduce you. You’ve heard the rumors, right? The student who scored full marks on the transfer exam. She’s the final member of our disciplinary committee. Introduce yourself."

Father Miella spoke to me.

Dragged into the disciplinary committee and completely bewildered, I lowered my head.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you, seniors and juniors. My name is Melody Hastings."

"She’s got that clueless look on her face."

A male student sitting at the front of the room responded. He had platinum blonde hair and emerald eyes, just like me.

‘A senior in his fourth year... His name is... Western Campbell Lauderdale?’

Lauderdale. I’d heard that name before.

I think Raven’s roommate had a similar name.

Western Campbell Lauderdale, a fourth-year member of the disciplinary committee, and Eastern Riven Lauderdale, a first-year student council member.

Ah, so these two must be like me—separated from their families.

I looked at Western with a curious gaze when I heard Father Miella’s laughter.

"Yeah. She doesn’t know anything, does she? Well, Leonard probably didn’t explain it to her."

Father Miella clicked his tongue, and Leonard, sitting in his seat, shrugged.

"I did explain."

That couldn’t be true. Leonard never explained anything about the disciplinary committee.

Used to Leonard’s nonsense, Father Miella ignored him and began explaining to me.

"You’ve heard that the top students are assigned to the disciplinary committee and student council, right? It’s based on a first-come, first-served system, so the student council is already full, and that’s why you came to the disciplinary committee. We had a vacancy because a student withdrew last semester."

Ah. I hadn’t heard about the student withdrawal. Someone dropped out last semester.

Maybe that student was an heir from a noble family. I’d heard that some noble children, who only cared about getting into prestigious schools, would leave when it was time to inherit their family’s name.

"Our disciplinary committee is the department responsible for guiding the students of Saint Gloria Private School."

"I see."

I nodded seriously, trying to look like I was paying close attention to Father Miella’s words.

‘Do I really have to participate in the disciplinary committee? If it’s not related to Raven, I’m not interested...’

Thinking this, I half-listened to Father Miella’s speech.

"There’s a lot to do... So much that... we do things like this..."

"I see."

"And we also keep an eye on the student council."

"Excuse me? You monitor the student council?"

I had been half-listening, but this unexpected information made me jump in surprise.

However, Father Miella spoke proudly without hesitation.

"Father Cesario constantly breaks the rules, so we’re always the ones who clean up after him. That’s why we have to keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t break any more rules."

Father Miella pounded his fist onto the podium, and Western, who was sitting at the front, sighed.

‘The student council breaks the rules...’

What kind of student council is this?

Wait, come to think of it, this might actually work out in my favor.

Doesn’t this mean I can officially keep an eye on Raven, who’s in the student council?

This time, he surely won’t be able to run away.

This is perfect!

"That’s why I called you all today. I received a tip-off that the student council is planning to break the rules again today, using ghost stories as an excuse."

Oh? Wait, ghost stories?

"I was the one who tipped them off."

Leonard raised his hand and spoke.

"This morning, when I left the dormitory, I overheard Eastern and Raven talking. They said they were meeting in front of the girls' dormitory elevator at 9 PM tonight. That’s a rule violation."

Father Miella slammed the podium once more.

"That’s exactly it!"

A sigh from Western followed.

He seemed quite tired of Father Miella’s enthusiasm.

"We must achieve results and elevate the status of the disciplinary committee. Let’s put pressure on the student council!"

I’m not sure why we need to put pressure on the student council.

However, judging by the reactions of the other committee members, they seemed to mostly agree with Father Miella.

It seemed that they didn’t have a good opinion of the student council.

I guess it’s because of what Father Miella said about how they always have to clean up after the student council’s rule-breaking.

‘Wait, 9 PM tonight, in front of the girls' dormitory elevator...’

That’s exactly the time and place Kkamang asked me to meet.

Could this be a coincidence?

‘I need to be cautious.’

Talking to a cat and being treated like a suspicious person—this is something I need to avoid.

The disciplinary committee’s plan was as follows:

The female members of the disciplinary committee would lie in wait at the girls’ dormitory and catch any student council members breaking the rules.

Once they spotted a violation, they would signal the other members, and Father Miella and the rest would rush in.

‘Time...’

The desk clock in the dormitory pointed to 8:30 PM.

I hurried downstairs to the first-floor lobby of the girls' dormitory, where Kira, a first-year member of the disciplinary committee, was waiting for me.

Since it was the girls' dormitory, it was inevitable that the female members would be the ones taking action.

After all, the disciplinary committee couldn’t break the rules themselves while trying to catch the student council in the act.

There were three female members in the disciplinary committee, including me:

Kira Verti, a first-year student; Diana Lovett, a fourth-year senior; and me.

Diana couldn’t join today because she was suffering from a severe flu.

‘I’m glad it’s just Kira.’

I suggested we divide the tasks. She would lie in wait at the dormitory entrance while I would remain hidden in the lobby.

Even though we were siblings, the disciplinary committee members didn’t like to be too friendly with student council members. I couldn’t let them see me reunite with Raven.

"Senior, can I ask you one question before I leave?"

Before heading to the dormitory entrance, Kira asked me a question.

"Sure. What’s on your ✪ Nоvеlіgһt ✪ (Official version) mind?"

"Are you really Raven Hastings’ sister?"

I scratched my cheek and nodded.

"Yes."

"Wow. How can you and your brother be so different? If it wasn’t for the Hastings name, I wouldn’t have recognized you."

Kira muttered in awe.

"Your personality and appearance are so different."

"Why? How are they different?"

"You’ve heard of Raven’s nickname, right? He’s very famous. They call him 'The Crazy Riven.' If he has a sister, I thought she’d be someone really strong, but... hmm, you’re..."

"I’m what?"

"You’re like a herbivore."

A herbivore...

I couldn’t even come up with a response.

"Your appearance is also different. You actually resemble the Lauderdale brothers more than Raven. Of course, you probably don’t have any connection to them."

I nervously touched my cheek after hearing Kira’s words.

I had thought that the Lauderdale brothers looked similar to me, with the same hair and eye color.

But logically, there was no way there would be a connection between them, who were from an aristocratic family, and me, a former maid.

"By the way, do you know why Raven became 'The Crazy Riven'?"
