Lyra felt a creeping sense of dread as the shadow loomed over her, its dark form seeming to seep into her very pores. She tried to raise her hands, to defend herself, but they felt heavy, unresponsive.

‎The shadow's gaze seemed to bore into her mind, searching for something. Lyra felt her thoughts being pulled apart, examined, and discarded. She was aware of Elian and Kael trying to intervene, but their movements seemed slow, distant.

‎And then, in an instant, Lyra's world went black.

‎When she came to, Lyra was lying on the ground, her head throbbing with pain. The shadow was nowhere to be seen, but she could feel its presence inside her, a dark, pulsing energy that seemed to be growing stronger by the second.

‎Elian's face appeared above hers, his eyes filled with concern. "Lyra, can you hear me?"

‎Lyra tried to respond, but her voice felt distant, unconnected. She was aware of her body moving, sitting up, standing, but it was all happening without her control.

‎The shadow's presence was growing stronger, its influence spreading through her mind like a stain. Lyra knew she was losing herself, becoming a vessel for something ancient, something evil...

‎As she looked at Elian, Lyra saw her own reflection staring back, but it was distorted, twisted. The shadow's presence was changing her, corrupting her.

‎And Lyra knew that she was running out of time...
