Luna hoisted her axe onto her shoulder with a big grin on her face. Cutting down Nyx even if it was merely a clone was extremely cathartic to her. Nyx on the other hand was scared to admit that she was both terrified and a little turned on by Luna's show of force.

Leo coughed a bit to regain everyone's attention. He picked up the dagger which was closer to a thin needle in appearance. He glanced towards Horo, their only dagger user and he shook his head no. He already had Arachne so another dagger wasn't going to be all that useful to him.

So Leo then walked over and handed the Dagger to Sonata who had a puzzled look on her face as if to ask why she was the one to receive the dagger.

"We can't rely on you to be able to use your voice all the time. Plus having something to protect yourselves in close quarters wouldn't hurt. There are probably gonna be status ailments like Silence or times we need to be stealthy. Singing and screaming is not a stealthy option right~?"

While the explanation was a bit wordy, Sonata understood Leo's intentions and accepted the Dagger with a bright smile on her face.

"Thank you Boss~!"

She chimed, her innocent gaze tugged at Leo's heart. In a party of crazy women, she was the closest thing to normal they had. He rubbed his nose lightly and gave a brief but soft grunt of acknowledgement.

Sonata glanced down at her new Dagger to see what sort of effect it could have.

While not the perfect weapon for a girl like her, it was definitely a useful tool for her who had entered the dungeon barehanded.

Nyx taking advantage of her new skill, Blinked to Sonata's side where she inspected the Dagger with a hand on her chin.

"Is it just me or does this look like the kinda thing you would use as a prison—"

Horo immediately interrupted.

"Not another word out of you!"

"Shank...."

"What's a prison shank?"

"You dont need to know that Sonata...."

Nyx's eyes opened wide as she turned her gaze to Horo to see that he had a murderous look on her face and out of the corner of her eye, she saw Leo glaring coldly as well. Sonata was the last sane person in this group, there was no way in hell that Horo and Leo would allow Nyx to corrupt her like that.

Nyx couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated and annoyed. She was a girl too and she definitely did not like being threatened or told to shut up all the time. Yet for now she bit her tongue and said nothing.

While she quietly fumed, Leo tossed the necklace to Horo who caught it and put it on without a question. He had trust in Leo's decision. Lily tilted her head and asked

"What does the necklace give you Horo?"

Horo glanced at the necklace before replying

"Small buffs. Crit damage, Regen. Crit Chance."

Lily's eyes widened as she looked surprised

"That sounds broken! How can you be so casual about that?"

Horo scoffed and smirked

"Yeah it would be broken if it was more than 1% for each of them."

Hearing that, Lily glared angrily at Leo

"Horo was the one who saw the boss and was able to do a lot and you give him a shitty necklace as thanks?"

Leo frowned and responded with a calm, even tone

"The Necklace has a skill. Horo is messing with you..."

Lily turned her gaze back to Horo who was flashing her a smug grin with a pleased glint in his eyes.

"You Ass! You tricked me!"

"Hahaha~!"

Horo chuckled as he dodged Lily's attempt to hit him. Horo's necklace had a very interesting effect but Arachne had wanted him to keep it a secret...at least for now. Leo was tempted to say something but he noticed Horo put a finger discreetly to his lips with a wink. Realizing that he was asking for it to be kept a secret, Leo obliged him for now.

With most of the loot handed out to the others, all that was left was the Ring, Boots and the mysterious vial. Not knowing what to pick for himself, he turned to Luna.

"Sis. I don't know what one you'll want so come over here and pick something."

Luna nodded as she sidled up beside her brother and inspected the remaining 3 items herself.

Luna frowned as she was conflicted. She wanted the boots but the idea of getting a ring from Leo was appealing....Especially if she made him put it on her. However after further deliberation, she sighed and said

"I'll take the boots..."

Leo was confused as to why his sister look kind of depressed despite getting a pair of what he could only describe as military style combat boots.

"I'll take the ring then. The only thing that remains is this vial. We should probably use it right?"

At that moment, Leo heard both Astra and Mors echo in his ears.

'Leo. You should be the one to consume it. It would suit you best.'

'Boss. That Vial was practically made for you~! Take it!'

Everyone seemed hesitant to consume something unknown. Lily had a complicated expression on her face as she said

"Why don't we just dump it. It's probably a trash item or something...."

Horo was about to say no as well but Arachne chuckled inside of his mind.

'That Forest Kitten knows nothing. But this one would fit the Cub best~! If he denies it, you must drink it!'

Horo felt a wave of nausea wash over him as he questioned her.

'Why would I do that? It looks gross!' 

'Sure Sure. I am pretty sure the Spirits that are attached to this Cub can see what it truly is~!'

Horo was about to say something when Leo popped the cap of the vial and threw his head back, allowing the vial filled with a slimy and viscous liquid to pour down his throat.

Immediately, his hands shot to his throat as he hunched over in pain.

Everyone in the party was horrified as they rushed to his side.
